i know it will not happen, but has anyone noticed the somewhat shrinking market for beltran? boras's contract demands are not gonna get it done (10 yr 200 mil) ... anaheim signs finley, not wanting to be left out in the cold come january, even Yankees seem to be balking a bit at that contract price... I am sure it would come down, but boy i wish i knew if JR had some special 'albert belle' money !

I think we would have a better chance signing hudson to an extention, rather than rj... i know, i know, slim chance of rj wearing black pinstripes, but his agent did say rj had not eliminated specific teams.... apparently KW's source of rj not pitching for the sox was az's GM ... maybe he wants more than what the sox were offering???
