I think it is going to be a situation of which positions are the worst, not what needs fixing altogether..... catching is serviceable with davis/burke, so is crede @ 3rd i doubt they change those

I agree... knowing there is not all that much money hanging around, crede is not as some could be... and i doubt you could get a super upgrade at any position via trade for him, so i say spend the money where the really really large holes are, not @ 3b... for it is only a pea sized hole I dont think we need to worry about gload @ first base... at least not yet... while he has been excellent off the bench and spot starts, I dont think he is quite the type of guy ozzie and kw want on the field at all times.

... crede has 19 homers this year... should finish with at least 20... and has 70 some RBI's ... in a BAD YEAR ... this is his first full year @ the majors, although it is pretty much a foregone conclusion in my mind that jose is gone after this year, i would much rather jose leave and keep crede than the other way around... for yes, i agree, joe's .230ish average is not good, maybe one or 2 hits per week puts him at least about .260 ish which is much better looking... and if you can save some cash on 3b, it gives us more cash to upgrade more in other areas. .... No other sinlge player??? substitue maggs or frank (or JOSE) for that matter in that statement and it looks just the same. While maggs and frank cant really help the injuries, i cant see blaming crede for the teams woes... no way. Joe was never intended to carry this team

It didnt develop right when the collision occurred... they fixed the muscle tear, then by the time he tried to come back, the swelling was showing up, albeit aided in development by his activity on it

misunderstood the injury? its kinda like a severe bone bruise... swelling in the marrow due to immense trauma... i.e. the collision. I doubt highly that there was a pre-existing condition

ok... we've gone through the avaiable pitchers already, alot of people looking at 'sleepers' and alright possibilities..... but this time i think KW is sick of the state of the pitching, as again he said he is looking for a front of the line guy... we have too many middle and end guys I still think that Pedro could happen... other than that perhaps clement, but pavano ist quite on top, neither is perez or ortiz dont forget, if maggs doesnt come back, there is more money to use for a pitcher....

pedro/radke seem to be the only consistent front of the rotation type guys that would be a possibility... that is what KW wants... the rest are middle guys... and kw doesnt want that

if borchard can settle down a bit and start hitting a little, then yes i agree... let AR go, putting borchard in cf and nab everett for dh/occasional cf oh and another thing... would you rather give up garland or cotts? AZ may not have asked for cotts at this point, but i would lean towards keeping cotts over garland.
