Over the years I have had a passing attraction to all these; The Sisters of Mercy, The Mekons, The Wedding Present, Utah Saints, Chumbawamba, ( phabulous Live ) The Music and The Mission. ( It is said that Goth was born in Leeds. ) And lately Kaiser Chiefs. That list makes me proud to be a Loiner! (Someone from Leeds )

55 Views and not one comment! Not even a negative one from Kalapse. Either it's no good or I've left you all speechless. There isn't much love around these days.

QUOTE(Pauly8509CWS @ Jul 19, 2006 -> 03:54 AM) It's just Trey and Mike playing, but it's still gonna be sick. Phish is on a "hiatus" but Trey's talked about getting back together in the future. Your right.

QUOTE(bmags @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 05:01 PM) why deploderer? We were doing so good talking about joy division. Well, I suppose that The Times They Are A Changing, now where Have I heard that before? Sounds like it would make a good title for a song. my musical taste appears to be expanding in line with my waistline. BTW, Phish are playing Chicago at the end of this month, I sooo wish it was in mid August instead.

QUOTE(The Critic @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 01:18 AM) I like a fair amount of "classic rock" stuff, but I don't like one Allman Brothers song. QUOTE(bmags @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 01:42 AM) jeeze, way to poop on deploderer like that . That's Ok. Phish are now my new, newest favourite band. I just got "Billy Breathed", Great sunny weather (yes we are having some) car music.

QUOTE(DePloderer @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 06:59 PM) Are there any Allman Brothers fans here? I got hooked on them through a BBC TV show that uses "Jessica" for it's theme. I've got a few versions of this but none come close to the version on "An Evening With The Allman Brothers Band - 2nd Set". Simply outstanding. just me then.

QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:00 PM) Can someone help me with how to do multiple quotes on one post please? Example, let's suppose Posters A, B, and C are having a discussion. Poster A says something and Poster B says something. Poster C wants to quote both and comment beneath each of those. The only way I've figured out to do it is quote one post, add the reply to the board, and then go back and edit it. There has got to be an easier way, right? Thanks, Jim QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:12 PM) click the "+ Quote" button on each post that you want to quote... then click Add Reply at the bottom, and they will show up in your reply. QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:18 PM) Steve can you make another post so I can practice it here? Thanks. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:24 PM) i love sushi. QUOTE(Felix @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:35 PM) test? I apparently suck. Oh, alright. It doesn't work with the fast reply, only slow reply QUOTE(JimH @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 03:47 PM) Apparantly I am worse. Doesn't seem like I should hit "reply button first, so I'm not getting how to comment under each post. Can someone be kind enough to give me a walk thru please, thanks. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 17, 2006 -> 04:05 PM) Test Test Test Test Hey Jim, if this works than I guess I know how to do it. What you do is click on the quote button (not the reply button) for the quotes you are interested (the quote button will than turn another color). After you have the interested quotes, hit the Add Reply button. In the reply section you should see two different quotes and after the [/quote] tag you would enter your response to each of the quotes and than just submit the post. Hopefully that helps What we realy need is a "Smug" smilie.

QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 04:10 PM) http://tripsweb.rtachicago.com/ This gives the proper train and the exact time it will take you to walk and take the public transportation (train or bus) from point a to point b. Thanks

QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 04:01 PM) Downtown to O'Hare and back downtown... 40 minutes there, 20-30 to get the car sorted, and 50 back. Estimating the time there. I never took a train from the city to O'Hare. Cheers Steff

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 11:45 PM) Well...Welcome to town Mr. Fancypants! And the sun sets in the west...typical day, eh? Texsox's suggestion. It looks realy nice over the web. QUOTE(redandwhite @ Jul 14, 2006 -> 06:34 AM) Defintily get lower level seating. The Upper Deck seats restrict your experience, you'll still get to see a hell of a baseball team, but for your first time, walking around the park and taking it all in is the way to go. Thanks to Chisoxrd5 the tickets are sorted. All I need to know is how long will it take me to get a train from the hotel to O'Hare, pick up a car and drive back to the hotel on a Saturday morning? Not being sure of the geography I can't work out when to book my pick up time for.
-
QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) If you're staying at one of the O'Hare hotels, just blue line it to the Loop, then transfer there. Somebody at the Hotel should be able to help you figure the logistics of it. We're staying at the Palmer House in town.

I need some more advice guys. How long do you think it'll take me to drive from O'Hare into town on a the Saturday morning. I'm planning on leaving the hotel, picking a hire car up from O'Hare, driving back to the hotel and then getting to the game ( now 12.20 pm ) via the train. As I had hoped to meet some of you fellas before the game, do you think I'll have time? Or would I be better booking my pick up time for early evening?

Go Scotty!

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 07:59 PM) Why isn't Mackowiak showing up Garcia for giving up a gopherball? I mean, it was entirely Garcia's fault, no? Nothing to do with a realy great, hot bat then?
