Well, Beckham is the most promising young player we've had on the team since Thomas. His rise through the minors was ridiculous so it built up hype, and aside from his start he's exceeded everyones expectations. Take how he's playing now, then factor in the logic that a player will continue to improve after his rookie season and it's pretty difficult not be excited. I dont know how much better the guy can get though, what he's doing now is kind of ridiculous ever for a veteran player.

A lot of people just didnt care and continued to bask in WS glory. I like those people.

It's hard not to be positive when the team has taken 5/6 games from two of the 'best' teams in baseball and the future still looks brighter than the present.

I dont Nuke the Duke as often as I used to. Strangely, I'm way too busy.

That obviously has not been the case with the rosters and manager that Kenny has been very largely responsible for. Other GM's might just be bulls***ting because they know the Sox are always looking to trade and its a valuable line of communication to keep open if they're trying to move someone. But then again, that's equally valuable for the Sox either way. If a team has a player on the block more often than not they're expecting Kenny to at least give them a call. Were the only ones without a Red Sox/Yankees payroll that can create so much roster flexibility.

Trade Hudson for something big in the offseason. Probably a new power bat.
