THEWOOD replied to ZoomSlowik's topic in PTC/Contest/Fantasy Board
Im in....WildWoodies -
Good run of games, now he can concentrate on winning games and pitching better.

Back in the day they had the Ameritech senior open at my CC and then they had the Kellogg Keebler Classic, LPGA event but now that is gone aswell. I lived right on the 7th tee, was perfect place to grill out, party and to watch the pros.

Red Sox vs. White Sox, 1:05, Game thread

Lets get this win today. Positive thoughts going into the break. -
QUOTE(tigerfan @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 10:11 PM) No offense, I wouldn't be so happy, as much as relieved. The O's nearly pulled off the impossible there. Yeah against a s***ty display of pitching by Politte

HELLLLLLLLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Seriously Cliff has got to go!! Great game by Thome and the offense.

GAME THREAD 7-6-06 SOX vs Orioles

Cliff can not do anything right anymore. Comes in for mop up duty and gives up a bunch of runs. -
Capuano has eaten the cubs up all season.

I have been watching the game since the 3rd inning, I dont recall hearing anything. Nice letter though!

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Jul 6, 2006 -> 02:23 AM) About eight years ago or so my buddies and I would play Goldeneye for hours on end. Gotta have 'paintball' mode on, though. That, and the WCW/NWO Revenge series. Those wrestling games were the best. Ahh, those were the days... I'm gonna go back a little further, and bring up the BEST sports game (BAR NONE) of the 90s. EA Sports NHL 93-95 were probably the best NHL video games ever made. Why EA hasn't put one of those games onto one of the newer versions of the game (like Madden did with one of their older games in M'05) is beyond me. I thought I heard that they put NHL '94 onto NHL 2006, but I never went out and rented it. Anybody have NHL '06? I'm going off-tangent here, but the video game scenes in Swingers and The Breakup (both with Vince Vaughn) are two of the funnier, more-memorable moments in my 'movie lifetime'. The old 94 NHL is on 2006. It definitely is fun to play when you are wasted.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Jul 3, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) This was a while ago, but I'm pretty sure I got $70 for my semi-functioning PS2 (some disc read errors). The games will vary greatly depending on popularity and how old they are, but any older sports games are likely to net little cash. The previous year's games could potentially net $10 to $20, but anything else will definitely be under $10, and could be as little as $2. Yeah thats what I was afraid of hearing. I think I may be better off just selling it all as a package deal on ebay.

QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Jul 4, 2006 -> 02:07 AM) THEWOOD is very reliable...quick and easy transaction...would do business again in a heartbeat Thank you! MHizzle85 was easy to work with and made payment promptly.

To the poster that said he traded in his old system and games, I have a question. Was it a PS2 system? How many games and what types were they? How much did you get towards a 360? I have been thinking of doing this for awhile, I just have to pull the trigger. I have two PS2s (one has a read error, but can be fixed), 26 games which are basically all EA Sports series.

The guy who "threw" the ball back on the field
THEWOOD replied to drowninginflame's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I was at the game yesterday and thought it was one of the most entertaining games I have seen. The Cubs have reached a new low. I wouldnt be suprised if they actually did see a decline in attendance. I was very glad to see all of the sox fans there yesterday, we were surrounded by them. I imagine today will be even worse. -
This place does not look nearly as nice as Columbus Crews' field. That stadium is awesome, and a very good place to catch a concert. How far away is this place from Downtown? Is public transportation possible? Also how do you go about buying SINGLE game tickets??
-
I have been to many Columbus Clippers games. The stadium is such a s*** hole, but now they are building a new one right next to Nationwide arena where the Bluejackets play.

Jose Canseco signs with independent league

I hope they boo him when he walks out for his first game. Better yet if no one showed up. This is just a way for the owners to fill more seats. -
Mine is on the 29th, Saturday which I is perfect.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 30, 2006 -> 04:28 PM) Damn, those pics are so airbrushed they almost look cartoonish. Exactly what I was thinking. I would like to see what she looks like day to day, not all that make up and airbrush bulls***.
-
I dont play nearly as much as I used to, but when I would play it was mainly at pokerstars. I also tried bodog and party poker.
-
The trend has to continue. I am not worried about the shape of the AL central right now, once teams start playing one another things will shake out.

Cliff better come back with some serious s***....Im so sick of him coming in and blowing games
