That's a shame, he had some issues
-
To quote Ron Burgundy, that escalated quickly

QUOTE (Lillian @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 05:40 PM) I was thinking maybe he could play LF. I know that he's a gold glove first baseman, but have no idea if he could play LF. You really like the idea of putting players in left that have never played the position before

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 05:43 PM) A highly inconsistent guy who on most teams would be an occasional backup but who also can hit a hot streak or two and help win a handful of games, but a guy that you'd hate to rely on for an actual winning team? Especially for the money he's paid, I think that's just fine. I'd rather have him than Hinrich for this couple month stretch, not even counting who's paid more. Again, in your own words, you aren't watching QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 18, 2012 -> 04:40 PM) Honestly, no, I haven't watched a game this year. I will watch a game when Derrick Rose returns. Nate is a black hole. He is stunting Teagues growth, he takes laughably bad shots, rarely plays within the offense, rarely plays defense. He can go away, and I would be just fine with it
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 05:25 PM) I have no issue with what Nate has brought so far this year. You shouldn't say things like this days after you said you haven't been watching games because Rose isn't playing

I admit I was wrong about Marco, he is far exceeding my expectations. I wish we would forget Nate on the side of the road somewhere. Kirk, Nazr and VladRad too

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 01:14 PM) Tricky was a member of Massive Attack early on. Their best album is easily Mezzanine. That is what keeps coming up in rotation for the most part. Love it
-
QUOTE (MEANS @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 07:28 AM) ever heard of Tricky? Check him out too. I actually saw Tricky live at lollapalooza in 97. His live show was better than his albums that i got. I tried to get into him, just couldnt. On my NIN pandora station, Massive Attack has been coming into the rotation for some reason and I really like what I have been hearing

QUOTE (juddling @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 08:02 AM) AMC is at it again........ Walking Dead loses another showrunner as Glen Mazzara leaves over 'creative differences" Mazzara friend and SOA creater Kurt Sutter had some choice words for AMC....lol AMC really has a complex when they come to their shows. It is quite amazing how they have consistently done this sort of thing with all of their major shows

QUOTE (Lemon_44 @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 07:27 AM) Left handed power arms out of the bullpne are always in demand. Hell, didn't a 42 year old Arthur Rhodes sign a 4 mill/year contract, it may have even been a 2 year deal, with Texas in 2011? Arthur Rhodes has been a good to elite reliever for 20 years.

QUOTE (oldsox @ Dec 22, 2012 -> 07:10 AM) Markakis got injured late last season. Can't remember details. Got hit by an inside pitch and broke his thumb

http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/knicks/po...of-fight-at-msg I certainly didnt see it that way, it looked like Chandler initiated the headbutt too

Off to the diamond club where you belong

Knicks have had no composure all game

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 08:16 PM) *Imploding Lol I like imploring better. Because they were begging the refs

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 04:19 PM) Nailed it. Going into the season with a 25% chance of making the playoffs (which is probably about what I'd put the Sox at right now; Detroit at 50%, KC at 15%, Cleveland and Minnesota both at 5% or so) leaves open the opportunity that you have a "fluky" season and sneak into the playoffs, which increases revenue like crazy. On top of that, you have increased attendance due to being relevant in the division race for so long. There are a few areas where this team could improve, but even today, this team would have an outside shot at winning the division. A fluky season isn't even required anymore. There are two wild card spots now, if you can get into the playoffs via wildcard, anything can happen

QUOTE (Carter224 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 03:26 PM) Anyone else not getting this going clockwise, every team on that map has beaten the team next to them
-
losing big and rebuilding with prospects does not guarantee that you will put yourself back into contention any time soon. Just ask the Royals

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 02:48 PM) In before Felix makes fun of us over our excitement of a DRose comeback... I doubt he would make fun of that, he just takes issue with our overexcitement about his abilities and deficiencies. Nobody would do the same over Rubio to him, I am sure he was pretty excited to see Rubio delivering unreal passes through his legs again.

QUOTE (Lamar Johnson 23 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 02:36 PM) Now, add Torii Hunter to the mix (and Fielder/Martinez) and add Keppinger and Danks, and subtract Youkilis and Pierzynski...who's better now? But what about Papa Grande and Rey Olmedo

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 02:15 PM) Only if you did it right. Quick, hard, left to right blow out, and then you throw it back in. after I got the SNES, my dad got me a cartridge cleaning kit, and I ceased having those problems. And I know where those problems came from, the games i rented. They were ridiculously filthy.

My final answer is Volvo

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 01:59 PM) You are not supposed to blow in the cartridge, that is not right. but that s*** worked
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 12:03 PM) Attempted home fix of my PS3 was a big fail. Worked for 10 minutes, then shut off with the same problem. Madden is stuck in there too. Dammit. Did you wrap it with towels and turn it on and off and blow in the cartridge and slide the cartridge to the left and then to the right and turn it upside down and unplug it plug it back in and Up, up , down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, start and do the Rain Dance(once forward, once backwards)? If you didnt do all of that, then you did it wrong

QUOTE (Lamar Johnson 23 @ Dec 21, 2012 -> 01:11 PM) When Danks is 100% healthy, he's an above average (damn good!) SP. Any staff in baseball would love to have him. When VMart is 100% healthy, he is THE best DH in baseball. A dangerous hitter, that would be welcome on any team in baseball. IMO, every day ballplayers are more valuable than SPs. The best SP can only help you win once every 5 games, whereas a position player, even a DH, can potentially help you win every game. Does this make sense? Multiple people have explained that it does not make sense, and a pitcher is more valuable than a hitter. You conveniently forget that this hitter does not play defense, therefore reducing his value as an everyday player.
