QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 06:42 AM) About time they did something with that kid. He has just been there the entire series, it seems. My favorite line of the show was when Jimmy and his dad are walking and they stop at the Gallagher house, and Jimmys dad says "Are you stopping for some crack?"

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 06:36 AM) Yuuup. I assume she's a boy that was being raised as a girl, or is "girl penis" a real condition. And I knew when the cute red headed counselar showed up, we'd see her boobs at some point. Carl was the man in this episode

QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 10, 2013 -> 08:49 PM) So, Shameless sure likes to keep going "there". And I can't stop watching. By "there" i believe you mean "girl penis". Yup. It was one of the funnier episodes in a long time. Frank calling Jody the grand poobah of depravity was hilarious
  4. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 11, 2013 -> 12:32 AM) I'm pretty sure someone else was responsible for all the later round picks that became impact players for the bears but can't recall his name. I think it was Greg Gabriel
  5. Last one to resign was in 1415. That is insane
  6. More quality Comcast audio
  7. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 10, 2013 -> 09:23 AM) I think she's probably trying to clear his name one final time, but I think you're right...just dredging this back up makes it worse...I think people will ultimately just think of JoePa as a bit naive and detached from this, but they won't really lay too much blame on his shoulders. It certainly destroys the rainbows and unicorns associated with him though, and I don't think there's anyway of getting around that. There is a vocal group that will not stop until the wins are given back, the statues put back in their places and the murals repainted. Unfortunately (for them) none of that is likely to happen
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 10, 2013 -> 08:16 AM) One of the things I hate about working in customer service is that a member can write an email complaining about you, totally fabricate the facts and make stuff up, and to have a supervisor take it as fact without hearing your side. I took some responsibility for the event that occured but it pisses me off that people just make stuff up and I have to take all the heat. Yep. The fraud dept at chase is similar, even when you are right you are wrong.
  9. @CSNCoop: Classic ESPN journalism- three guests ripping Freeh report, defending Paterno. No one giving the other view.
  10. Unsurprisingly, The Paterno family investigation has concluded that the Freeh report was uniformly biased against JoePa and is pretty much all wrong in every fact pointing towards the blame going to JoePa. http://m.espn.go.com/wireless/story?storyId=8930657
  11. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Feb 9, 2013 -> 01:50 PM) Anyone else think this means the Bears are asking him to move outside to DE? No, its him saying "I will play on any team and I will fit in just fine"
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 04:28 PM) FWIW, PFF had Urlacher as among the worst defensive players in the NFL last year, especially at his position. That said, he was near the top the year before. It isn't unreasonable to think that he could get healthy and be great again, though I'm not sure how much money I'd spend on that bet. pretty sure Ptatc said that knee will never be the same
  13. QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 02:02 PM) I would trade the Cell as is right now for 23 of the 29 currents ballparks in baseball. They really just bungled the whole thing. Got rid of the old park as decaying as it was, before Fenway/Wrigley became these altar worshiped Mecca's to baseball just because they were old. And being old was suddenly a selling point instead of a demolition point. Build the last ballpark before the Retro takeover happened. Start renovation before the park was even a teenager, basically admitting they f***ed up. The renovations are nice, i'll admit, but it's plastic surgery on an Ugly ballpark that we're stuck with for the foreseeable future, while everyone else has these beautiful Modern Parks. It's a shame. It was past the point of no return. Renovation would have been pretty intense
  14. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 01:44 PM) Im not sure what you are referring to. Mike Taylor Height: 6-2 Weight: 225 Monti Te'o: Height: 6-2 Weight: 255 Ive watched Taylor play every game in Wisconsin, Ive watched Teo 20 times. This isnt about Taylor btw, its about why Te'o isnt worth a first round draft pick. Te'o should be head and shoulders better than a guy who may not even be drafted. Kyle, What does Wisconsin have to do with anything? I just happen to be familiar with Mike Taylor. This is about why Te'o is not a first round draft grade, unless you are giving him the ND hype bump. I just simply believe the Bears would be fools to draft Te'o in the first, when you could conceivably get a guy LIKE Mike Taylor, for free. There are just so many good lbs, it makes no sense to overdraft a bad one like Te'o. LMAO. Nothing. Nothing at all.
  15. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 11:54 AM) Yeah this is kind of a head scratcher for me -- he seems to have no trouble squaring the ball up. To me, his issue is purely pitch recognition. Every pitch he takes looks like he decided beforehand not to swing. I wonder if this isn't something to get him to habitually load his swing so he can make a decision to swing later. In the Manto interview I listened to, he said Viciedo had issues with timing, that was his biggest problem.
  16. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 11:27 AM) I'm not talking about numbers. Numbers in college can be deceiving. I'm talking about size and the position they play. Mike Taylor is a smaller, quicker OLB in a 4-3 defense. T'eo is a bigger inside linebacker in a 3-4. But Wisconsin
  17. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 10:52 AM) RE: Viciedo How big of an adjustment is adding a leg kick for a pro player? What would this benefit? More power? Let's hope this doesn't mess him up. A lot of players add the leg kick for timing. I dont think Viciedo is lacking in the power department
  18. QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 7, 2013 -> 07:27 PM) Everyone is good in Seattle...that's why extending Felix was ludicrous... Maybe extending him wasnt ludicrous, extending him for THAT much is probably the ludicrous part
  19. Dont ever fall for "Lets not get each other presents for (insert holiday, event)." As Admiral Ackbar said, ITS A TRAP!!
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 09:15 AM) Get your ass out there and rub it off - I've now been a DirecTV customer for over a month. I haven't lost signal in snow, heavy rain, 3 inches of ice, nothing. Last night when I got home from basketball to watch the Bulls/Blackhawks finishes, no signal. Apparently wet snow is a big problem. SO i went out there with a ladder and wiped it down and beautiful pic again. ew And yea, when snow sits on your dish thats when you have problems. I just have a ladder in my garage and go out with a broom and sweep it off. Only had to do it twice in the 4 years I have been in Sleepy Hollow, both times in conditions like yesterday

I would have been excited for Boba Fett, but Lucas took the mystery away from his character
  23. When did Weekly World News start predicting baseball?
  24. 4-0 after 1 period. Just dominant
