QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 10:14 PM) Uh, no. Uh, not at all. Uh, brother and sister and just divorced IRL. Again, uh, no. Uh uh uh uh uh uh I know its weird, but earlier this season Dexter started expressing how the only person that he trusts is Deb, and then this week what she did was straight up "my husband is ignoring me and I want to know why". It has just been a weird season for the two of them, neither of them have a love interest, and the show is focusing on their relationship now Their personal life has nothing to do with their on screen relationship, if it did then they probably would have written her off the show. Those two interact more than any two characters on the show

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 01:04 PM) Per Rotoworld: "Free agent Josh McCown is reportedly the "leading candidate" to be signed as Caleb Hanie's veteran backup in Chicago. McCown is expected to be signed by Wednesday, so he can put in a full week of practice. The Bears needed a veteran who was familiar with the offense, and McCown played under OC Mike Martz (as well as DC Rod Marinelli) in Detroit back in 2006. He won't be a threat to Caleb Hanie's starting job." Happy Thanksgiving! LOL, that is why I said that. You named the other "leading candidate" -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 12:28 PM) Ok, so I read up on this a little last night at work, and from what I could tell (I was blocked from viewing a lot of the sites), it is impossible to pull off unless the craps dealer consistently allows one to not bank the dice off the back wall. It may be possible to master the throw so that you barely bounce off the back wall and thus minimize the randomness intended by that surface, but most dealers will force you to throw the dice (or die, I suppose) harder. The surface of the wall they force you to bounce the die off of is made up of pyramids intended to produce a truly random result (and not allowing you to bank the die off a flat surface). I think impossible. then why would the state outlaw dice? seems bizarre

QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 11:37 AM) I think it's steelers and pack behind the bears, no? Maybe I'm wrong. This waiver wire is confusing. I have heard Pack and SF, but regardless even if it is the Steelers, it is highly doubtful they will pick up Orton -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) link i think the Bears pass on claiming him. whats the point in making a claim? It isnt as if SF and the Packers are goign to claim him. if the Bears dont claim him, the Broncos are on the hook for the 2.58 mil and the Bears pay the prorated minimum -

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 09:13 AM) I would think the opposite. The last thing the Bears want to admit is that they have a bad back up QB. They are signing Orton in case Hanie gets hurt mostly, because they know Enderlie isn't ready. There is a part of them signing Orton just in case Hanie gets hurt, but knowing the Bears, they want to prove they were right about Hanie, and they will give him multiple weeks to prove himself. Hanie isnt Martz' guy, he was benched in the preseason and the only reason he is #2 is because of the final preseason game. There is no way that scenario plays out. Plus, this is Hanies walk year. If he isnt in their plans next season, which by all accounts he is not, then you let Orton take it unless(like i said) Hanie plays out of his mind on Sunday -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 23, 2011 -> 09:06 AM) I think no matter what happens in the games, Orton is the #3 QB this Sunday and the #2 QB next Sunday. At that point, there will be two weeks worth of Hanie's play to evaluate and then make the decision from there. I think Hanie starts for sure this weekend, but I think he will have to play out of his mind to keep the job if Orton is claimed/signed. They arent picking up Orton to hold a clipboard until the season is over -
Is anyone else sensing that Dexter and Deb are starting to have some adult touchy feely feelings for each other?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:42 PM) Compared to the last few years as well, Brady doesn't have the kind of WR dominance he had with Moss on the outside, and he hasn't had his previous checkdown target (Faulk) for quite a while, he hasn't had the running game he had backing him when they were winning titles, and he hasn't had the defense he had when they were winning titles (so Brady must put points up). So there is a lot of difference there. But yeah, they're still quite good, and I think Gronkowski is a couple steps above Olsen. he still has Welker, who is either 1 or 2 in receptions this season. And Branch is no slouch either. i will give you faulk and the lack of a running game, but Brady has 4 pretty damn good recievers to throw to -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:29 PM) Belichick has built the system around them. Yes, they are talented and athletic, but they aren't the greatest TEs in football, and Gronkowski physically is no better than Greg Olsen. It's the system. Belichick has decided he wants to make a showcase of his TE's and that is what is happening. He decided years ago he wanted Brady to set the TD record, and it happened as well. I credit it all to Belichick, not some new wave, "oh my god the Pats somehow have the two best TE's in the game", theory. At no point did I say either of those things. -

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 01:22 PM) system Its not only the system. A lot of TEs have come through that team before those two, and none of them have had the kind of success that both of them are having. Tom Brady loves to throw to them, but they are strong and both of them are fast for TEs, they make a lot of plays -
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 22, 2011 -> 12:32 PM) Does anyone still think that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be anything other than what the official releases claim he'll be? There are a couple rumors. One is that he is Falcones kid coming home to finish off what his dad started. Another is that he is a cop who is on to Batman. There is also rumor that he is the Black Mask, which could be incorporated into either of the previously mentioned theories
