QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 26, 2011 -> 08:57 AM) I'm not sure I like that. Is one of us going to die and another get crippled? Im not going to worry about that now, we are in our prime

Thanks for the birthday wishes all, and happy birthday to Milkman and Juddling too. The Soxtalk Legion of Doom celebrates another awesome birthday together

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 25, 2011 -> 07:25 PM) Maybe. Guys like Dirk and Kobe (especially Dirk) are still going plenty strong at age 32. Wade just turned 29 in January. If he can stay healthy, he'll be a force for the next 4-5 years. that is the caveat with Wade. He has always had nagging injuries as well as his major shoulder injury. that kind of stuff wears on players like him and their bodies progressively get harder to maintain. im not saying he cant do it, but Wade hits the ground hard a lot, I wouldnt be surprised if he doesnt get up without a limp one time.

Here i was thinking that this was a thread about Milkman Delivers

QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ May 25, 2011 -> 07:48 AM) Not to hijack the thread but... I wish Walk would get Beckham back to this swing: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=5277447 Can you do a breakdown on this swing (2009) versus his current one? I mean, this swing was just SO SWEET. Short, quick, and seemingly he could cover anything that anyone threw at him. I legitimately thought we had a star within the first month of watching Gordo. Why can't Walker get him back to this place? Edit: here is another AWESOME shot of that great swing GB had in 2009: http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=6428277 Now he looks totally different up there....total joke. Beckham had a really good may, didnt he?

Korver really has been a black hole in this series, Miami goes at him every chance they get.

Maybe the difference between Hitman and Macho man is that Vince knows he legitimately screwed Hart over, and with Macho Man maybe Savage was the instigator. We all know that Vince puts money above relationships, there had to be something pretty significant for him to ice out Macho Man like he did while he gave Hart a coming home and farewell party, as well as let Hart put the sharpshooter on him.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 23, 2011 -> 11:51 AM) Noah needs to spend the entire summer working on a post up game. It's maddening to watch him get the ball, with no one defending him, just to see him pass it since he's no threat to score. he got injured right when his summer work started to show. IMO the only thing Noah needs to do next season is stay healthy. His seasons are always cut short for one reason or another

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 20, 2011 -> 12:15 PM) I'll wait until they release the first Anne Hathaway as Catwoman pictures. I think that will be one of the last images released to be honest with you. After the massively Epic FAIL of the Halle Berry Catwoman movie, Im sure Nolan will want to keep that one hidden for a while. Im very excited about this movie. I think that Rhas Al-Ghul coming back, and his daughter(Marion Cotillard) is going to make for a great story, and then you add in Bane, Catwoman, AND Alberto Falcone? This will be a great one. And I know there is a lot of haters, but I think Transformers: Dark of the Moon has the potential to be the best one yet. I love watching the trailer

QUOTE (T R U @ May 20, 2011 -> 01:33 PM) Its already been suggested she catches an elbow drop at some point, so I think thats a fair punishment and nice commemorative.. i believe in this case you can substitute your elbow for another appendage

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 20, 2011 -> 12:52 PM) Some vicious rumors about why Vince didn't like Randy. Who knows if they're true but if they are you can't fault Vince. yeah, if he was nailing stephanie when she was a teenager......not many men, even vince mcmahon, could get past that.

Damn shame. If WWE hasnt already put him in there, he needs to be in the HOF immediately

Actually on B+B they were saying that his wife may have a recurrence of breast cancer

QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 19, 2011 -> 11:41 AM) Nice hackers reference, I dont think anyone else but me and you have seen that movie. It got me into an early form of hacking on AOL back in the day. Anyone play LA Noire yet? I still watch it when it comes on. Jolie is just super hot in that movie. Almost "Gia" hot

I dont know what happened with that ref Phillips in the 2nd quarter, but he took all rhythm and momentum from both teams in the 2nd quarter.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 18, 2011 -> 12:10 PM) The funny thing is it shouldnt take a genius to lock down the network, who the f*** do they have working for them? they should hire Zero Cool, Acid Burn, and Cereal Killer. The Plague obviously is not doing well guarding the Gibson

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 18, 2011 -> 09:09 AM) Oh no doubt. I don't think Dirk could beat Chicago by himself. And yeah, that Barea is deceptively f***ing quick. But this is all wayyyyyyyy premature talk. This is true, I was just commenting on an imagined scenario
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 18, 2011 -> 08:48 AM) There really is no decent matchup for him. He's seen and torched Gerald Wallace, Nicolas Batum, Aldridge, Camby, Odom, Gasol, Ibaka, Perkins. There's really nothing we could throw at him that he hasn't seen. He's on a different level right now. Thibs is going to do what he always does with guys like that. He lets them get theirs, and makes sure the other players are shut down. Players like Barea, Marion, and Terry should be shut down by the Bulls D(hopefully). Barea was eating Nate Robinson alive at the end of the game last night

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 17, 2011 -> 08:30 AM) Mike Miller has actually been a pretty solid player over his career, don't let this season fool you. I thought he was gonna have a great season this year with the Heat though. I know he was injured, but 5.6 pts a game, ouch. he has always been injury prone though. just like boozer, when he is healthy, he produces, but when is he ever healthy? and to top it off with miller this year his thumbs are what he injured(recently, i think it was legs at the beginning of the season), which further made him worse. counting on miller was a huge mistake by the heat imo

Asik has started to get notice as a really good defensive player around the league, and I think Lebron recognized that. Not quite the same as going through JJ in 2010
