QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) I love C-Dale, I love the surronding area, I love SIU. You rock. SIU was fun. Carbondale is beautiful, and the surrounding area is alot of fun if you know whats around. I am going there in 2 weeks for a wedding and to see all my friends, should be a good time.
  3. Are those two seperate movie clips? He looks like he aged 15 years between shots.
  4. http://www.collegehumor.com/?movie_id=164824 I would have to say this kid convinced me that losing oxygen to the brain is not desired. Check out his eyes when he goes down.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 05:45 PM) Yes. I think they sounded too much like other bands coming out at that time, to the masses. The lead singer(only member) was part of Trent Reznor's first band, Lucky Pierre. They were part of one the best concerts I ever attended. Prick Nine Inch Nails David Bowie At the World Music Center It was Incredible! I was there buddy, in the pavilion, 15th row. Great Show except for Bowie cutting itshort due to illness. I was just gonna ask if you heard Prick's 2001 album, The Wreckard. I didnt even know there was another album until I did some research lately. It is STRANGE. Some really good stuff, some stuff way out there. I have a few Lucky Pierre songs on my Ipod as well. I didnt know Reznor was a part of that band, I only thought he appreciated it and brought Kevin McMahon into Nothing records because of his appreciation.
  6. QUOTE(Steff @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) JR had nothing to do with it. Tom quit because of ignorant comments made by Hawk regarding Tom's sexual abuse as a child. Were these comments personal, or during a broadcast?

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 03:45 PM) I really enjoy Trent's new stuff. There is a maturity there, that wasn't there before. It's less about him and more about the music as whole. Very organic. I like that, i never thought of it that way. Are you a fan of Prick? I never understood why they didnt do as well as they could have.
  8. Thats nothing. That bull has his horns clipped. Last night I was watching Fox Reality channel (Worlds Craziest Videos part 3) and some bull with complete horns(very sharp, very very very sharp) embedded his horns in some poor guys bunghole at least a foot deep. If that guy didnt go straight to the hospital I would be amazed.
  9. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 03:05 PM) The book was better. If we start getting into Stephen King books/movies then you get some really interesting endings. Some of his stories don't even really have endings. He just leaves it up to the reader's imagination. They certainly don't all end with "happily ever after" either... For anyone that has read the Dark Tower series. That ending was suprising, although I kinda suspected it anyway. I know a lot of people that hated it. And to think that some people had been waiting 20 years for that ending... I have gotten to "The Wolves of Calla" so far, so no spoilers please Nobody is ever happy with the way an author ends things. But in the end, it is the authors story to do with what they will. Stephen King is pretty awesome, I want to read The Plant, i heard it was pretty good. too bad all of kings fans took him for a sucker when he offered to let them read it online if they promised to pay later.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 03:02 PM) You are talking my language. Some of the best of that Genre. Great stuff! KMFDM, Thrill Kill Kult, Rev Co... I have grown away from that stuff nowadays, but I am still a huge NIN fan. I will still throw the Wax Trax stuff in every now and then for a glimpse into my high school angry days. What do you think of the recent NIN music(Fragile and With Teeth)?
  11. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 02:58 PM) Yeah, that 4IP and 1ER in Charlotte, just proves it... him out the door. He's done. Didnt you expect to hear something about his pitching session in Florida this week? He pitched fairly well in charlotte, who knows what happened afterwards?

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 02:59 PM) I always thought they were to Ska/soft rock oriented. I need a little more hard rock mixed in there. They're not bad just not a personal fav. they changed into that. Recieving the Gift of Flavor is pretty hard compared to Master of Styles and Too Much Stereo. Their shows still rock though, they really go crazy on stage. At least they do in Carbondale.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) Pailhead - I will Refuse 1000 homo dj's, the KLF, early ministry. Good hard industrial and alternative sounds.
  14. QUOTE(quickman @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 02:49 PM) I agree furthermore I still don't think he is injury free. El Duque is still hurt. I was thinking that his throwing session over the AS break got no pub whatsoever. You know if ozzie and KW liked what they saw, it would be all over the media. I dont think he is healthy either.
  15. Turn the bachelor party into a sort of a treasure hunt through bars. Have a list of things he has to do to move on to the next bar. 1. One fuzzy navel body shot from a bartender or bar slut(must have 2 witnesses) 2. one retrieved urinal cake(lol, I cant believe I just thought of that) 3. Give a girl a blowjob shot(kahlua, vodka, with whipped cream on the top, get your mind outta the gutter;) ) from your lap(must have witness) etc etc you get the idea. There are so many things to do and make people do at bars it is silly side note: My wife just got back from a bachelorette party this weekend, and told me that her friend made 200 bucks doing "Buck for a Suck"(tape blowpops all over your body and make people remove them with their mouth). I was like "Why the hell didnt you do that when you had your bachelorette party? We could have used an extra 200 bucks!

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 13, 2005 -> 02:34 PM) It's hard to discribe, their first album was mainly punk/ska/rock with a bit of rap thrown in. The new Album "Haunted Cities" is more rap oriented seeing how Rob Aston is mixing in a lot more of his sound into the band, however any band that has Tim Armstrong as an exclusive member must have atleast half the songs in his punk/ska/rock sound. So in other words it's really hard to describe their sound. http://www.myspace.com/thetransplants Are a fan of the Urge? I used to see them twice a year when I lived in Carbondale at the Copper Dragon(the best little venue in the world), hell of a show.
  18. How is Jaret Wright not on the scufflin list? Or on the Worthless list?

  20. Ozuna just lets those sharp grounders eat him up. You can tell he is used to the ball coming to him just a shade slower at SS.
