The Athletic has another lovely article to provide us angst on this rainy day off https://theathletic.com/2571204/2021/05/06/greenberg-tony-tony-tony-la-russa-has-done-it-again-and-it-feels-bad-for-white-sox-fans/?source=user_shared_article

I'm talking about the FA crop that Eaton was a part of, Joc, Ozuna, Eaton etc
-
It seems like all of the FA right fielders suck so far so we can just call it a push all around
-
They can be true. I know you are angry about Hendriks being signed and I'm just not gonna get into that argument, it isn't anything we can change. I absolutely recognize he has not done his Job this season. In regards to yesterday, it was all bad and yet again TLR put his closer in a weird situation that he shouldn't have been in.
-
Yes he sucked but I'm of the opinion that maybe he might have been a little better if he wasn't running the bases and maybe was discussing how to attack his next group of hitters with Grandal and Katz.
-
Outside of that rule, his dugout questioned the double switch putting Hendriks at second and he blew them off. No matter what way you slice this he fucked up bad, and admitting not knowing the rule that could have helped him, that the opposing manager stated that the League made them all aware of, is incredibly indicting
-
It seemed the implication that was being made was not of this game and the decisions within but of the decision that was made to sign Hendriks because he was Tony's guy
-
This actually doesn't really make sense if it's supposed to be an indictment. Hendriks was far and away the best guy available unless you wanted to run it up the hill again with Colome. He needs to pitch better but also not run bases when he could be talking about the next group of players he will be facing with his pitching coach in the dugout
-
He hasn't been great but he would have been better IMO if he wasn't running the bases
-
I get that but when the manager handicaps you to the point of almost preventing runs without a miracle......
-
+1 on the fucked up and lost Column

-
Leury is excellent at making you forget about his good contributions
-
Well this is getting dramarific which means it will probably end in an extension for Rodgers
-
I think he is definitely going to get spot starts all season, I just don't think he will become a "every fifth day" guy until late August (if at all) and then next season for good. He needs that build up this year
-
Still doesn't matter. Kopech is innings restricted he isn't going in the rotation any time soon. Probably well after ASB
