I fully disagree. He has a track record of showing flashes of greatness and never getting there

Schultz just came off the injured list too. Let’s get some consistency in his day to day work and help him succeed, I just don’t see why skipping him right now is important

Nah, Schultz has to pitch. Sandlin isn’t lighting it up either, he has been just as up and down as Schultz. He needs to figure it out imo

Callis was on the score this morning and said something I never really considered. He said Cholowsky could have come out after high school and would likely have been a high round if not high first round pick, but not 1 overall. Emerson on the other hand is coming out as 1:1 or 1:2. A lot of picking him rides on your trust in developing him though, there is no ifs ands or buts about it, you have to show this kid how to be a professional and provide him the necessary support the entire way

Fair with Chapman, but I feel like you are really overlooking Gray. Sticking him in the middle of the rotation does nothing but help. Not expecting an ace, but someone who can come in and eat innings and win some tough games

It really slides everyone down one slot and makes the 7th and 8th pretty hard to navigate for opposing managers when you have Newcomb/Taylor/dominguez/Murphy waiting for matchups

Sonny Gray and Aroldis Chapman just seems too perfect in terms of needs and commitment to players
