  1. QUOTE (miracleon35th @ Jun 1, 2017 -> 10:20 AM) Frazier had some sort of health issue that weakened him earlier in the year.. He lost a ton of weight because of it and has not looked the same. He hurt his thumb, then he got the flu. He is fine
  2. I dont think they really assessed Dexter Fowlers true value correctly, which is really surprising to me. Both his defense and top of the order offense were exactly what this team is missing right now. Thinking Schwarber could just step in and lead off and provide the same offensive production was incredibly arrogant
  3. Trump is gonna stay in the Paris agreement and everyone is gonna be like "THIS is when he became President."
  4. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 31, 2017 -> 07:59 PM) reeeeeplaaaay kiilllled the neighhhhhbooorhood plaaaay ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Video killed the radio star
  5. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 31, 2017 -> 07:52 PM) what happened to the neighborhood play? Replay
  6. https://twitter.com/scotgregor/status/870032225844293633 @scotgregor Sounds like there is some #WhiteSox news coming in 15-20 minutes. Stay tuned
  7. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 31, 2017 -> 01:48 PM) Thanks. I was just hearing about the tests on that stuff. Pretty crazy you could know your unborn child is going to have one of those conditions. It's an extremely stressful test. It takes three days for results to come back and it's all my wife thought about. And the worst part is there are a lot of false positives. We had a false positive test with my youngest and my wife called me bawling her eyes out. We had to go to a special Doctor for a different ultrasound
  8. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 31, 2017 -> 01:34 PM) Is autism also more likely for the child with older parents? I knew downs syndrome but didn't know autism was involved too. The high risk usually comes from the mothers side during pregnancy. Downs, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis are the three big ones they test for. Haven't heard any link between autism and the age of the parents but I didn't research any of that when my wife was pregnant
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 31, 2017 -> 12:56 PM) Good. The network called the photos "disgusting and offensive." Having her in Times Square with millions of people would have been a very bad idea. The chances of violence would be pretty huge. You listen to Rush. Nothing should horrify you
  10. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 31, 2017 -> 12:04 PM) I agree with you here but it's the same as all the people asking GOP leaders to apologize for the body slamming Congressman. Each side does it. It's stupid. One of the reasons I hate partisanship. Voluntary hypocrisy. All politics aside that was one creepy looking picture. It's like they made Griffin's make up intentionally freaky. I dont wish for GOP leaders to apologize for him. I do wish for him to step away from the position he just won. That situation is extremely messed up
  11. i love how a D list celebrity making terrible "art" just became the voice of the left. YOU MUST DENOUNCE HER! Denounce who? IDGAF about Kathy Griffin and neither should anyone else. Hell, Trump still hasnt denounced that guy who killed 6 muslims in Trumps name in Quebec City on Jan 30th
  12. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 31, 2017 -> 09:35 AM) Reactionary politics fueled almost entirely by spite and ignorance. It's also setting a new precedence where previous admin agreements aren't honored going forward, which makes us commitments that much less reliable on a whole host of international issues. What good is spending years hammering out a complex agreement with every single country in the world save Syria and Nicaragua (who thought it didn't go far enough) if it'll just be launched shortly into the next admin? What good is the US's word? Trump has never honored agreements. :/
  13. Trump made this decision based on a letter signed by 22 GOP Senators. Only 22
  14. I wonder what Qs ERA is with each catcher. Seems like Smith calls a lot of curveballs last night, and they were getting crushed
  15. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2017 -> 10:38 PM) Cool. At least you admit Fulmer may be a bust. Yeah, but if you are looking at this logically, the risk of the draft is what "should" prevent teams from tanking and fans wanting their team to lose. The obvious pick might be a huge bust. In the meantime the joy of winning can not be denied. Look at this season, what if you are a 7th grader Sox fan. You are watching the game with your dad and all excited, but dad inexplicably gets mad and says, "Dammit we need to lose this game!" "Why dad?" "Cause we need the best draft pick possible during this rebuild, son! Don't you get it??" There was literally zero logic in all of this. This was "i am a fan and I want them to win" with zero context
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2017 -> 10:13 PM) Do you agree Fulmer has been trash this season in terms of his stuff? I'm really surprised a guy as smart as you thinks it's OK to root for losses. I mean the reward from rooting for losses is a .... better draft pick. Pedro Alvarez ... Mike Trout are calling you on this one. You keep saying Pedro Alvarez and Mike Trout like they are ultimate trump cards in this argument you keep dragging out. A draft is tricky for any team, any sport. Players improve at different rates, they regress, some of them plateau. That doesn't mean you completely discount draft position and say "who f***ing cares where we pick? I might get a Mike Trout anywhere." Some players like Bonds and Harper and Griffey actually live up to the billing where they are drafted and made their teams contenders. Fulmer might be a bust he might figure it out and be a mainstay in the rotation. Nobody knows what he is yet
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 30, 2017 -> 09:57 PM) You know who our manager was, right? You know who was managing the White Sox 10 years ago, right?
  18. Lol it kind of does make him right, it's his creation
  19. Fantastic weeks and who provides them
  20. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 30, 2017 -> 02:13 PM) He says JIF, like the peanut butter. That is the correct pronunciation, according to the guy who created GIFs. He came on the score last year with Goff and Spiegel and set them straight http://www.cnn.com/2013/05/22/tech/web/pronounce-gif/
  21. Apparently the POTUS official twitter account has grown by 5 million followers in the last three days, mostly bots. Seems sketchy
