  1. QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 24, 2016 -> 03:12 AM) http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/23/politics/ele...rump/index.html If Hillary wins the election do you think Trump's more extreme crazies would start a violent civil war so to speak? Hillary won by almost 2 million votes now. Certainly if she asks for investigations in the four key states/recounts she'll likely be deemed the winner. At some point isn't Trump destined to lose and Hillary win? Can Obama demand the recount in key states? I'm just amazed every four years we have talk of corruption in the voting process. What the f*** is going on in our USA elections??? Sad stuff. At this point I would think it'd be funny seeing Hillary win it after all. Trump could claim it was rigged and he'd probably happily go back to being a millionaire business guy. Why can't our election people make sure this stuff does not happen? Why does it take so long to count the votes in some states??? You are amazed that corrupt politicians try and corrupt elections in order to keep their jobs?
  2. my wife found wish.com and went nuts. I used slickdeals and amazon. Almost done
  3. QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 24, 2016 -> 10:50 PM) Not trying to defend Indiana or Crean here, but if college Top 20 teams went and played small small small schools on the road more often, they'd get beat more often than they'd win IMO (I do realize this game had more Indiana fans at it than Ft. Wayne). No major college in their right mind would go play at a Missouri State or Wichita State or Northern Iowa. They'd leave with an L more often than not because of the sellout and crazed fans. Just my take. Come on, this is ridiculous. Would they get beat? Yea, sometimes. But more often than they would win? Hell no
  4. QUOTE (juddling @ Nov 25, 2016 -> 08:06 AM) Mrs. Brady and now Mickey Rooney .....#3 is on his/her way ? He has been gone for 2 years
  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Nov 23, 2016 -> 12:35 PM) Except with McCown. Backup QBs do tend to be worse than Cutler, but not claiming he isn't a low, low end starter in league. I mean, McCown went 4-3 as a bears starter over 3 seasons, he really didnt do better. He just had Alshon completely beasting
  6. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 23, 2016 -> 12:03 PM) I don't see why. Good sportsmanship mandates they step down. Everyone agrees they should not have been given the opportunity to tie the game and win in OT. This is the problem with our sports culture, especially at schools. We preach good sportsmanship and being a better person and doing the right thing over winning, and then when we have the opportunity to actually do that it's NEVER done. I don't think a Judge should have made this call, but it's ludicrous the IHSA or any sports organization doesn't have a clause in the rule book that in CLEAR cases of a screw up that decides games there can be a change made after the fact. Yea, but as stated earlier, once you open the floodgates on one bad call, then you start getting other "well if this call went the other way then we would have scored a TD and won the game...." type complaints in the name of good sportsmanship. Playing entire games under protest because of a bad call then going to court.
  7. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 23, 2016 -> 11:23 AM) What should happen here is that the other school should step down and let Fenwick play. But of course that won't happen because that would be the right thing to do. Someone called into the Score this morning and said basically that the IHSA would not allow this because it would undermine their decision, even if they wanted to
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 22, 2016 -> 09:18 AM) 1. The multi year campaign of lies insinuating that the first African American President could not possibly be from this country. 2. The long history of discrimination by his companies, which there is legal record of much of it. 3. Attacking a judge as unfit to rule on a case involving him because "he's a Mexican" 4. Insisting that the Central Park 5, a group of 5 black people charged with a beating and rape in the late 1980s, should have been put to death even though DNA evidence exonerated them. 5. Judging and testifying that a group of Native Americans wanting to open a casino that would compete with one of his didn't look enough like native americans. 6. Retweeting white supremacists at least 75 times during the campaign. The handle "@whitegenocide" would be a giveaway for anyone who cared. During 1 week in January, 62% of the people he retweeted were accounts that fit a description of white supremacist accounts. 7. Confronted with support from the klan in a debate, was unwilling to condemn it, blamed his failure to do so later on a faulty earpiece that only had issues with that question. 8. Appointed Steve Bannon to a special advisory position - equivalent in power to the chief of staff and making him one of the most powerful people in Washington. 9. Appointed Jeff Sessions, who was blocked from a judgeship by Republicans in the 1980s due to racism and noted that his main issue with the KKK was marijuana, Attorney General. 10. Falsely claiming that 80% of white people who are murdered are killed by blacks. 11. Lies about Muslims celebrating 9/11 in New Jersey. 12. Supports racial profiling to "prevent criminality". Endorsed stop and frisk, denied that it had been found unconstitutional when it clearly had been. 13. The entire Muslim ban. 14.“Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys wearing yarmulkes… Those are the only kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else…Besides that, I tell you something else. I think that’s guy’s lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks,” - Trump called these remarks in a book "probably true" when he was asked about them in 1997. Your own statements suggest that everything published in books must be true for your standards, he even is on record agreeing with that sentiment. 15. "Look, I’m a negotiator like you folks; we’re negotiators." - stereotyping Jews while giving a speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition in December. why bother, greg will ignore this and ask the same question in 2 pages
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 21, 2016 -> 01:57 AM) JB is just incredible. Who could have possibly imagined he could become this player. I don't think even Garpax saw it
  10. Loggains has no idea how to call a consistent offensive game. He just abandons the run game in the second half every f***ing time. Howard gets like 70 to 100 yards in the first half of just about every game he starts and then disappears in the second half. Although dude needs to work with the jugs machine
  11. Leonard Floyd looks like he just got a severe neck injury
  12. Nintendo registered a trademark for "Wave Race" in Europe for 2017. That could be cool
  13. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Nov 19, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) Hey, I started a podcast thread a month or so ago for just this kind of post. Don't bury it in the "catch all." Good call I will move it and the associated talk

https://www.gofundme.com/saving-swiss-chees...ation_receiptv5 Just wanted to post this for everyone here to share. This is for our foster puppy Swiss. He is 6 weeks old and he was a stowaway with his mother when she came to live with us in late August. A few weeks ago we noticed that he was throwing up fairly frequently and after he noticeably began to lose weight, we took him in for tests and found out he has a mega esophagus which was caused by a condition called Vascular Ring Anomaly. Basically there is a blood vessel that is constricting his esophagus and preventing food from reaching his stomach, which in turn causes his esophagus to expand and ends up shooting his food out. The plan was to try and feed him in an upright position to force as much food down as possible but it has not worked as planned and we will have to schedule his surgery a lot earlier than expected to remove this blood vessel. If you can donate to help, it would be appreciated. If you could share this page so others can see it on Facebook that would be great as well. Thanks
  15. What did Pence honestly think was going to happen?
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 18, 2016 -> 12:41 PM) does this not happen with new consoles really any more? I remember growing up and there always being huge Christmas-time shortages on the big games for the season, and of course any new systems. In high school, a couple of my friends worked at KMart and would buy all of the PS2's when they came in and then immediately resell them for a profit on eBay or whatever. Seems appropriate for a vintage console to have shortages, really! Nintendo has mastered the holiday demand shortage. Every damn console
  17. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Nov 18, 2016 -> 09:29 AM) So has anyone here bought (or attempted to buy) the NES classic yet? It looks like that is the big rage for Christmas this year and pretty much all the stores are sold out of it. I still have a couple of actual working NES systems from the 80's/90's and all of my old games so I'm not all that interested in it. I already have half the games that come pre-installed on it and the few I don't have never interested me that much anyway. The only thing that really intrigues me is the ability to save any game at any point. That would've been nice 25 years ago. I traded my kids 3DS in for a newer 2DS last saturday, and the gamestop employee told me that they had 20 NES Classics before they opened the store. as he walked in there was a line down the walkway, and they sold all of them in 20 minutes. While I was waiting there for the data transfer(about an hour and a half), 5 people came in asking for one.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 18, 2016 -> 12:00 AM) Nice win in Utah. Game was ugly at times when both teams couldn't make any field goals. That second quarter was a brick-fest. Both teams were just terrible
  19. I found it interesting that Sessions later became part of the same Judiciary committee that rejected his judgeship earlier in his career. That is....strange You cant be a judge because we think you are kinda racist. BUT, you can help us choose who can be a judge
  20. Its not bothersome to me at all. Im not the one calling people hero worshippers and group thinkers.
  21. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Nov 18, 2016 -> 07:54 AM) Nope. I advocated trading Eaton last winter to fill 2 holes. That's still a possible approach. I've never favored the Hahn proven veteran approach, however. So if the choice is Hahn ball or tear down I would favor complete tear down, because Hahn ball is a failure. please. which way is the wind blowing today Superior GM? (here comes the response when he calls me and everyone else hahn supporters and blah blah hero worshipping)
  22. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Nov 18, 2016 -> 07:26 AM) It uses cartridges, so the answer is going to be a no. And that is highly disappointing. I have made an investment in WiiU just like I did the Wii, and I liked that i could play Wii games as well(just like I enjoyed being able to play GameCube games on the Wii). Hopefully there is some sort of remedy that doesnt involve me purchasing the same games again
  23. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 04:10 PM) Ha. Nintendo release schedules. Ha. Fool me once... Ha, can't argue that. There has been a lot of talk that Nintendo is really trying to get this launch right, because of how botched WiiU was. If they manage launching with 75% of those titles, I will be pretty happy. If they launch with all of them I will be stunned. Interested in the specs given the rumored price point
  24. QUOTE (peavy44 @ Nov 17, 2016 -> 02:03 PM) We get more or no deal bottom line could you try and participate in the thread topic, and do less one note grammar-free comments? thx
