  1. QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Man I'd love to have Omar Vizquel here to work with Anderson. He's really helped Iglesias Iglesias was always a wizard with the glove, Omar didn't do much
  2. QUOTE (CWSpalehoseCWS @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 07:47 PM) I haven't seen anything else anywhere. That would be funny if that's how it broke. Way to go scoreboard guy, way to go. Iirc the Marlins scoreboard guy broke Muhammed Ali's death as well
  3. QUOTE (shipps @ Jul 28, 2016 -> 09:31 AM) As a guy who loves to eat and is currently dropping weight with the biggest efforts I have ever given to dieting, I just cant wrap my head around someone not being able to GAIN weight. Well, we don't really have the same energy burning schedules as Floyd
  4. @jeffpassan Sources: Royals trying to package Ian Kennedy in a potential Wade Davis deal. Dodgers a strong match. Covet Davis and can take on Kennedy $. Caulfield gonna s*** a panda
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 10:08 PM) I couldn't imagine what 103 from a pitcher must look like. In HS I turned a pitching machine up to 100 to see what that looked like. Missed the first 3 badly, tipped the fourth, and hit the fifth, but it snapped the aluminum bat I was swinging in half. Off a pitcher, it has to look even quicker. Not to mention the fact that the pitcher might actually hit you, whereas a pitching machine should throw it exactly where you aim it. Knowing a 100 mph ball might actually come at you has to be frightening
  6. If you are a white sox fan and catch that, do you throw it back? And if you did, would you get ejected?
  7. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 08:34 PM) does ESPN do anything but not show the game? Well they are also good about being wrong on their website, considering this isn't Ranaudo's MLB debut
  8. Who in soxtalk will take the responsibility of taking a dump when Abreu comes up
  9. Hammell was probably all "imma get this motherf***er back right now"
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 08:34 PM) You mean the 7 of 9 walked? Still can't remember last time I have seen that Of course you should totally count his last appearance in the majors as a continuous streak, because nothing happened between those appearances. Like, months
  11. Remember back when Ranaudo was the worst fathom had ever seen and Soxfest was sad about him starting? Lol good times
  12. Isn't most of Heywards value based on his defense right now? 184 million bucks for good defense....
  13. QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jul 27, 2016 -> 07:32 AM) It's not a day game. You could've figured that out much quicker than typing about how the Cubs will smoke the Sox if it is a day game. Smh Greg'd
  14. So, will they be wearing away 83 uniforms tomorrow? The cup stays at home
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 26, 2016 -> 08:09 AM) Ricketts came across horrible on the radio today when talking about Chapman. Nobody is going to sound good on the acquisition. The only thing that will make this tolerable is winning the World Series. The Cubs just need to bite their tongues and move on
  16. This ump is not calling the same zone for both pitchers.
  17. Non white sox trade rumors has already devolved to b****ing about hahn
  18. QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jul 24, 2016 -> 11:40 PM) I thought that it weird that they add Sanchez or #26 and then play him, when he's going to go right back down. Ventura had relievers he didn't use. He only has 5 relievers he has any trust in at all. The only relievers he didn't use were Ynoa and Beck. And if he HAD used them, he would have used every reliever in the pen within a 36 hour period, leading into the series with the Cubs. He used every other reliever in the pen

    DC Films

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jul 25, 2016 -> 12:29 AM) That's not true at all. Let's looks at Wonder Woman: Patty Jenkins was hired by Zack Snyder, the movie was written by Zack Snyder (alongside Geoff Johns), Gal Gadot was cast by Zack Snyder. His fingerprints are all over the movie. Justice League looks and feels like a Zack Snyder movie and like the CEO of WB, they learned their lesson BvS in that they need to back off their talent and let them do their thing. And if you want to see the impact of Geoff Johns, he was hired too late to make an impact on JL, WW, and SS as those films were already completed or deep in production. So you have to look at post JL movies (in terms of the release date) like the Flash, Aquaman, which he wrote the story alongside James Wan. And Batman, which he's writing alongside Ben Affleck. Justice League doesn't look anything like the previous garbage that Snyder has put out. But ok Lesson learned is don't make a brooding Snyder movie that makes you think s*** like "oh batman could get raped in prison that is cool right everyone loves that right?"
