QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 03:01 PM) This is so absurd. Brady has had excellent OL during his career. Rodgers too. Romo led the league in most of the pass categories last year. I'm sorry but I disagree that BB is better than Romo, the stats do not back this up. Rodgers has not had an excellent OL during his career. Not even close

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 12:26 PM) You liked the Trestman offense? Yesterday's was much more productive. Unless, of course, you mean in the red zone, in which case, I agree. Our offense last night didn't really resemble P. Manning's 2014 offense to me in terms of the play calling. how do you interpret that quote as liking the Trestman offense? A WR that can fight for a high ball is pretty valuable in the endzone and changes a lot of defensive looks If someone said "I wish there were more bubble screens and runs on third and long", then you could say "So you liked the Trestman offense?"

Supreme Court to Decide Whether Gays Nationwide Can Marry
This is like Jesse White refusing to issue drivers licenses to LGBT's and then asking that his name not be on them if they are issued to LGBT's. I mean, this is so f***ing absurd. Just impeach her ass already

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 14, 2015 -> 10:30 AM) Clay's pick was awesome. Royal had a drop or two, but Jay clearly wasn't sharp. That said, I thought he did a good job throwing away when he had to as well. Not sure how he ended up with such a low completion percentage but I expect the offense will get better as the season goes. The game plan was awesome and I liked how we actually stuck with the run (although it does help that we weren't down 3 td's to start the game). Special teams sucked...gave the Pack short field a few times...they have to clean that up. Gould was money though and O'Donnell had one awesome punt. Jay hasnt had any gametime with Alshon, and only 2 games with Royal and Wilson(and limited at that). I wasnt surprised that his timing was off

Maximizing this Outfield Offensive Production
QUOTE (Lillian @ Sep 12, 2015 -> 08:15 AM) I can understand your pessimism, however being realistic, they are probably stuck with Melky's contract, Eaton is a bright spot, signed to a decent contract, and the front office loves Avi. Therefore, we are probably stuck with that outfield. Why not try to make the best of it? I think turning it into a year wide platoon based on which side you hit from is not making the best of it. The sox need to find players that can play, not piecemeal together random lineups every night.

Fox Lake Cop shot and killed
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 11, 2015 -> 12:39 PM) With the way this is going down, it really feels like they are expecting backlash when the suspects are announced. Maybe someone had it out for this guy? Thats what I pointed out on the previous page, Gliniewicz was involved somehow with his Chief retiring.

Fox Lake Cop shot and killed
QUOTE (shipps @ Sep 11, 2015 -> 12:13 PM) I am glad that info has finally come out that pretty much disproves the suicide theory. That would have been a bummer. It really seems like they have nothing on these guys. Unless they talk and someone rats them out they arent going to catch them with what they have. You would think there would have been some witness in that area that seen something. Or a camera that picked up a glimpse...SOMETHING. All i keep thinking about this is the Browns Chicken murders. Those guys were total ghosts until they couldnt keep quiet and told their girlfriends

2015-2016 NFL Thread
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 11, 2015 -> 09:50 AM) The Score this morning said that when the Steelers complained, the NFL went to check out the Patriots headsets (and to tell them to take it off until the problem was solved), but every time they got near the Patriots sideline the problem magically resolved. However, on the Dan Patrick show, this was never brought up, and Patrick was saying that it's the NFL that runs the wireless equipment, so it's on them, not the Patriots, for not sorting it out or making the headsets unavailable for both sides. Sure, it doesnt happen anywhere but in New England, but it is on the NFL. Gotta hand it to the Patriots though, they are basically laughing and pushing it in our faces.
