There really isn’t much justification in keeping Vaughn in the lineup (and on the roster) right now. He doesn’t have a history of great success, he never really came into the power that we thought, he doesn’t get on base a lot, he is slow, and he isn’t a great defender. Sending him down shouldn’t generate a “but you can wreck him” response, because he is already there. Elko might come up and strike out a lot, but he is gonna give us some moon shots and sometimes you need that

As the self appointed best fan of this team, It’s quite clear you hold yourself as the best fan of this team on the site, because of your constant attendance of the games. You show no actual ability to be critical of the team, only of other fans of the team who are critical of the team. My attendance dropped when they started to suck, and will continue until they show an actual commitment to winning. I’m a firm believer in “a fool and his money are soon parted” and clearly you like to part with your money frequently in front of terrible entertainment. I certainly wouldn’t do that, but I’m not the one that shows up to this site and grandstands as the best fan and talks down to everyone who has a different opinion and calls them liars or cubs fans when they disagree.
