  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 11:49 AM) I'm hoping the Bears can win a shootout... Me too, but they still have to stop Ryan at least once
  2. If the Bears get no pressure on Ryan, this game will be over pretty quick. Time for Jared to earn his paycheck
  3. Man, you never like to hear about foot problems with tall men, especially fractures.
  4. QUOTE (The Critic @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 10:24 AM) Poor Jack Swagger, lol. Remember when he was a thing? I think that DUI really derailed his run. They haven't really let him do anything since that happened. A bunch of fake runs at lesser titles
  5. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 12, 2014 -> 10:15 AM) That was actually one of my favorite features of the Booz Cruise You liked hearing him tell others to do his job?
  6. I love not hearing Boozer screaming anymore
  7. Pau looks like a man possessed this preseason
  8. QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Oct 11, 2014 -> 07:36 PM) Yes they do. I really enjoy watching this style of baseball. They just play you even until the last couple innings and then put down the whammy
  9. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Oct 11, 2014 -> 06:21 PM) De Aza is just a good ballplayer. Shame a lot on here couldn't see it. He is not good, he is mediocre. I know you love to point out his good and ignore the bad, but when he was bad he was epic terrible
  10. http://www.prosportsdaily.com/articles/car...des-325008.html Boeheim is such a piece of crap.
  11. QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 11, 2014 -> 09:09 AM) Great game last night. When the Royals didn't score with bases loaded/no out, I thought they were done. Royals have the 2005 Sox thing going. They're 5-0 in the postseason so far, and they just find a way to get it done. Incredible how close they were to being eliminated in the Wildcard Game. Also, on time of game...3:15 to play 6 innings last night. I mean, come on...MLB doesn't care. The time of the game didn't bother me because it seemed like there was always something happening. How many times did the bases get loaded and nobody scored, 3? 4? It isn't like the Yankees/Red Sox where there are ten discussions with the pitcher in one at bat and each hitter readjusts his batting gloves between every pitch.
  12. There is something to be said about how WWE has been unable to elevate their current stars to any superstar level, forcing them to repeatedly bring in attitude era stars for pop. the rumored Rock/HHH wrestle mania match is just a terrible idea, as much as I like both wrestlers
  13. Gotta hand it to the Royals, once the door opened they were ready and ran through at full steam ahead
  14. There is not enough Hollywood in Hollywood for KW
  15. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 12:34 AM) #cardinalsfatigue #cardinalsgiantsfatigue
  16. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 02:38 PM) I don't live in Illinois. Balta does live in Pittsburgh, so they cant nail him for being out of state and try and jack up his price. It really sucks that these teams do that though. If your teams cant keep opposing teams fans out by having their own fans actually use their own seats, then you shouldnt do the "keep the red out" campaigns, thats just bogus. You never see the Bears preventing Packers fans from coming into Soldier Field, or vice versa. You would think St Louis and their greatest fans evar would show up and not sell their seats
  17. you know what i found interesting, B&B read off the Pro Football Reference list of players most similar to Cutler, and George wasnt one of them. I see the comparison as well, which is why i found it interesting
  18. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) Man the bears injury reports have been ridiculous this year. Wasn't McLellin supposedly gonna come back with the broken hand because he's a linebacker that will never intercept a ball anyway? McMuffin seems like he may have quite an injury problem. The guy has been an unmitigated disaster
  19. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 01:17 PM) I had no idea Briggs was even hurt. What happened? I think shoulder. They have been really secretive about it. Get ready for Sharpton and Jones, everybody
  20. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 02:21 AM) This may not help much since Nashville has a "Keep the Red Out" campaign to keep Hawks fans from buying tickets, so the prices may have been inflated beyond normal Hawks away games, but we paid like $104 a seat to see the Hawks play Nashville in April and we sat in the upper deck near the top, lined up w/ a blue line I think. i think Balta should be able to skirt around that campaign because he doesnt live in Illinois. Unless they somehow force you to reveal your team loyalty before you buy a ticket
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 10, 2014 -> 08:16 AM) Plus they are horizon league not MAC, early morning brain. Not in football, Youngstown St is in MVFC
  22. The NFL is closing their ranks against Angelo, the Bears and other people that worked with him are all denying what he said. They arent a fan of this whistleblower
  23. QUOTE (daa84 @ Oct 9, 2014 -> 10:38 PM) I think he's the best defensive player I've ever seen. I'm a touch too young to remember LT, but only other candidates off the top of my head are Ray lewis, Reggie white, maybe champ bailey Peppers is in that discussion. In his prime he was unstoppable
  24. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 9, 2014 -> 02:30 PM) Yes. Nobody was saying "ugh I don't want to go to a crappy stadium to watch football", people went because the bears were playing. People aren't going to the Rams games because they don't care about football. The bears also were coming off a playoff season. When the Rams were the greatest show on turf, they cared enough to go to that dump. In other NFL news, Adrian Peterson just admitted that he smoked a little weed and will probably fail the court mandated drug test he had to take yesterday
  25. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 9, 2014 -> 02:20 PM) I find that to be a crap argument. Bears fans filled up that crap ass Memorial Stadium which was 2 hours away. Most cities have a safe base of 70k fans each week eager to watch football. You are citing one season where the bears were rebuilding their stadium as proof? At a university full of students from the chicagoland area? That is even more of a crap argument
