Brady missed a big throw to Edelman earlier, he is gonna need to start hitting that because it looks like Manning is on it

QUOTE (timbo @ Jan 19, 2014 -> 02:22 PM) okay doesnt mean we can't get him Doesn't mean anything, it is just Kaplans opinion

Speaking of lefties @Ken_Rosenthal: Sources: #Reds in advanced talks with Grady Sizemore, but still possible that he will go in another direction. Other teams involved. White Sox need to sign him and bat him cleanup. Pronto

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 19, 2014 -> 12:34 PM) They wrote a bunch of "win now" contracts. Beltran, Ellsbury, McCann. They get Tex back, potentially Jeter's last year. They still have a major need for a top of the rotation starter, and one is available. The match is just painfully obvious. The Yankees write win-now contracts every year

QUOTE (Jake @ Jan 19, 2014 -> 12:26 PM) I'm not convinced the Yankees are in a position to compete this year. I suppose. I wouldn't be placing my bets for them to be in the playoffs, though it isn't outside the realm of possibility Outside if the Dodgers, pretty much all of the other suitors are not guaranteed for playoffs. It Tanaka wants a sure playoff opportunity right now, it will be the dodgers.

I think the dodgers will be good again, but Puig has to be consistent for them to go to the next level. He singlehandedly put them in the race last season, and he faded after his hot start.

QUOTE (Jeff Liefer @ Jan 19, 2014 -> 11:13 AM) Gimmick account?? Lol well played

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 18, 2014 -> 08:31 PM) NEARLY. Key word. Ok. Thank you for pointing that out

Darren Sharper is being investigated for 3 seperate rapes in Los Angeles and New Orleans over the past year. Whoo boy

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 18, 2014 -> 01:44 PM) Why? we play them what, 3 games a year? I don't think the goal is to win more games vs the rival as much as it is to steal the casual fan away when the rival is in a downswing. If the Sox get Tanaka and have a competitive summer, it could make a nice difference in ticket sales if the Cubs are struggling to not lose 100 games

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 10:44 PM) Is it just me or have dicks and balls been discussed in every topic this week. This is a f***ing White Sox site. If you're looking for a place to chat about the sex organs, gtfo Simmer down nah

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 08:38 PM) I thought Lip was at UC No, MIT. Check out the show listing on Wikipedia, his big interview was with a MIT rep

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 04:31 PM) So they'll keep releasing gimmicky systems with last-gen graphics that do 1/100th of what the real systems do. Genius. Yea, but they look at how successful the Wii was and say "See? it worked". I totally agree with you, I wish they would put a strong foot forward and catch up with PS and XB in power, system innovation and home networking, but they just sit back and dont. At the same time, I gotta play those DAMN GAMES BECAUSE THEY ARE FUN

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 04:28 PM) They could simply launch any of these Mario games that came out the past 5 or whatever years for Wii with slightly better graphics on other consoles, and I'd drop $60 for each and every one. I'd pay $100 for Super Mario Bros Wii on PS4. You know why? Because that gaming style is timeless and completely ignored nowadays save for Rayman (and yeah, I'll be getting that). They could EASILY launch a Super Mario Bros. game for iOS and Android for $10 a pop and it'd outsell the world. Until a new regime comes into Nintendo and Iwata/Miyamoto are long gone, we both know that will never happen.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 04:22 PM) Bingo. Why Wii U didn't launch with a mario game and a zelda game is a mystery. It kinda did, it was half assed though. Nintendoland has a little bit of all of thier popular titles. But they should have had a solo mario or zelda(or both) at launch, no doubt.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 03:56 PM) The blood is all flowing to the tip of my penile area. Commercials say you should see a doctor if that persists

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 03:44 PM) Little early to start pounding the brewskies... This is Wite we are talking about here

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 03:37 PM) Wite I'm shocked to hear you say this. You're usually one of the "let's just see how it plays out" type of guys. I'm sure earlier you said something similar. What changed your tune? BEER

how about start at online and 3rd party, and work back from there

QUOTE (Al Lopez's Ghost @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 02:49 PM) We had no problems of this nature with Shingo Or Iguchi. Or Fukudome for that 5 minutes he was on the team

QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 02:40 PM) Why? Just because he drunkingly impregnated his own daughter and made his son screw a hooker while his gay lover watched? Judge much? No, not all that. Its just the outfit

QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 02:44 PM) Does anyone really remember the Blade Runners? I've only heard of them. I saw some youtube highlights of them. Both Warrior and Sting were massive back then, and had super awesome long mullets,, neon facepaint, and did the "you cant knock me down im shaking the ropes" thing

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 02:43 PM) Great minds think alike at 2:42 today! DONT TELL ANYONE!

You know what else I was thinking is a small possibility if Sting came back? A Blade Runners tagteam reunion. Warrior has been chirping on twitter that he isnt done yet

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 02:28 PM) I do remember that now that you mention it. So you proved my point that it took a miraculous comeback and crazy coaching for Manning to get his first ring. Also, a Rex Grossman lead Bears squad in the super bowl. and a hurricane. and Prince.
