HSC, you were right...not that I ever doubted you about Miguel but he's a lot better than I thought he would be. The kid can play D, hit, run, and has an incredible intensity level. I think the major reason we won that game against KC earlier in the homestand was because Miguel slid into first base causing the Royal fielder to panic and throw the ball away. While Jimenez was recovering Soriano kept developing and is ahead of Jimenez. Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect and love the way DJ plays. To come back from an injury like that is not easy at all. We are having troubles with really bad teams right now. In 4 or whatever weeks we'll coming off a very tough stretch. Coming back under .500 would be disasterous. I know, I know Jimenez isn't even close to the caliber of player that Soriano is, but I thought it would be interesting to compare Jimenez to the best second baseman in the league.
