  1. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:44 PM) I would be quite comfortable in stating they're looking for one. What can this guy Tony Torcato do, he is an OF is he not? He was with the Giants organization wasn't he? We need something for when Anderson gets suspended. Kenny Williams better not let Ozuna start in center.... CWSOX45
  2. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) Time for him to go down and figure it out in AAA kind of like Bmac did last year. He needs to get his head on straight. That would be no problem...if we had a solid defensive replacement. We don't. I don't want to see Mackowiak and Ozuna out in center everyday. That's scary bad. Sure they can hit, but they're not centerfielders. CWSOX45
  3. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) They have been having him take fly balls out in center in preparation for Andersons suspension. That really frightens me... CWSOX45
  4. QUOTE(fathom @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:41 PM) When are we going to stop playing someone in LF that has absolutely no clue out there? There's no excuse for a WS contender to have such a butcher playing out there. I love Pablo, but not in left field......is there anyone in AAA that has seen time in the Majors that could be a DECENT fourth outfielder? CWSOX45
  5. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 4, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) It looks like the Three Stooges out there in left and center. What is the reason why Anderson is not backing up Ozuna there? My guess is brain cramp. Yeah I don't know what the f*** that was. He started jogging in toward the dugout! Who the hell knows. Major brain cramp.
  6. I hope every single poster that wants Mackowiak over Anderson out there saw that play. CWSOX45
  7. Guys, Garland is not going anywhere. I just don't see Garland waiving his no trade clause, unless of course maybe...just maybe it's to a team in California. (Where Garland is from) CWSOX45
  8. Brian Anderson is a center fielder.....Rob Mackowiak is better suited for left or right field. Pablo Ozuna in centerfield is almost as scary as when we thought about putting Jose Valentin in centerfield. Everyone here b****es about the lack of production from Anderson, what about Uribe? He's barely batting over .200, Anderson is a god damn rookie, Uribe is a veteran, yet no one ever points the finger at him. I would rather have a STRONG bullpen and a centerfielder that hits .170 and plays solid defense, than a centerfielder that hits .300 and a bullpen (like we have now) that coughs up the lead everytime. It's simple guys, we didn't get to the post-season last year because of our offense, we got there because of our DEFENSE and our PITCHING. Both of those components are missing, especially when Anderson isn't out there, and especially for whatever reason our relievers getting lit up. CWSOX45
  9. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 10:29 PM) The other way to look at it is, if Brian Anderson were showing a bare minimum of success at the plate, they'd never have to pinch hit for him. He isn't, so you pinch hit Mackowiak. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. It's a real s***ty situation to be in... CWSOX45
  10. This reminds me of the tail end of last year....where we just could not f***in win........ Paul, please come up big. CWSOX45
  11. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 10:24 PM) I should be happy Detriot lost, but it just makes me more angry that we s*** down our legs AGAIN, and could have gotten a game back from them... Unfortunately that has been the story of this whole damn week. It's beyond frustrating. CWSOX45
  12. Besides Pablo Ozuna.....I have no confidence in anyone else putting a bunt down... Jesus.
  13. f*** it. How many ways can these team find a way to lose? This is beyond f***ing frustrating... CWSOX45
  14. God dammit hawk! youd think id learn eventually that when he gets excited the ball never goes out... CWSOX45
  15. Jesus I hope to god we score 10 runs this inning so we don't have to worry about our stellar bullpen...... CWSOX45
  16. illinilaw...how can you like rohrman? Those commercials make my blood pressure sky rocket.......I will never buy an automobile from that man due to his horrible advertisements.. CWSOX45
  17. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 09:08 PM) Right now, I'm embarassed to be a Sox fan. You know who you should blame for the wave? A) Bob Rohrman B) Joan Cusack. I loathe both of them.....
  18. QUOTE(Chet @ Jun 2, 2006 -> 09:06 PM) Since everyone else has been criticized this year, I would like to criticize the fan who grapped JD's double out of the air. I think he was premature in grabbing and could have cost us a run. Someone should go kick his ass. Agreed. Grab your pitchforks boys and girls, the White Sox milita will be on the prowl tonight!
  19. Guys, our bullpen trouble will be over if we just sign ..... Jose Paniagua at least he would add some fire to that bullpen by flicking off the umpire after walking a couple of guys. CWSOX45
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:06 PM) Easy there killer. First off, when we were 15 up on them, they started playing .900 ball. 2nd, it now June. 3rd, when they consistently win games and play like they have this series, then they will be back in it. I understand that. They are in this race. 7 games can be made up fast. Especially with this ass kicking of a World Series Champions. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Tribe go on a 9 game win streak... CWSOX45
  21. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 1, 2006 -> 09:02 PM) If/When Cleveland wins tonight, they will be 7.5 games back. Not exactly "right back in it." Bulls***. You felt pretty confident with a 15 game lead last year right? We all know how that well. It's May. They made up those 15 games in two f***ing months last year. As far as I'm concerned, as long as the Indians aren't 10 back, they are in this race. CWSOX45
  22. New name for White Sox bullpen: "Panic Room" Really is TOO perfect.
