Well I heard he was a free agent, I don't know where I heard it from but I'm almost positive it was printed somewhere. You never know, the Twins could trade Guzman to someone else. I dunno, even if we do lose guys like Everett I still think we could look just as good on paper. That is if Paul Konerko plays up to his potential, than again paulie might not even be here next season. Jason, I liked your idea about getting Khalil Greene. Let the Pads have Vazquez or let them sign Tejada if they want another big name player in their park. I wouldn't mind seeing Greene in a Sox uniform, especially after watching him play at Clemson in the College World Series. CWSOX45

Fiction: Maggs will not be a member of the White Sox next year, I think the Sox will end up moving him over Lee since he costs more moolah. Fact: King George has always shown interest in him, Steinbrenner wants him badly. Fiction: Jeremy Reed will be considered but will start the season in AAA and will be called up in early or late June. Fiction: At least I hope so, we need someone that has experience winning as a manager, not winning as a third base coach. Fiction: I don't see Manuel working in a big league organization NEXT YEAR. However in a couple of years I expect him to return. Fiction: Borchard has struggled at the AAA level, but I won't write him off yet. This season will be a big inidication if he will ever turn out to be what we expect him to be. Fact: Robbie and Sandy both want to stay with eachother in Chicago, plus Alomar should come cheaply compared to the other top notch free agent 2nd baseman. Fiction: If Bartolo leaves than KW may just start the rebuilding phase all over again, I hope I'm wrong but that's the way I look at it. CWSOX45

If the Sox are going to replace Maggs with someone young I can't imagine it being Joe Borchard, he's simply not ready. Jeremy Reed would be great but I'd like for him to start off in AAA. So if the Sox aren't looking for a replacement veteran to take over for Maggs what could our outfield look like? KW said he'd like to have a lot of grinders this year.....does that mean we'll see an outfield of Lee in left, Harris in center and Rowand in left? If that's the Sox plan this year than I can already tell we're headed for a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. CWSOX45

Speaking of dumass Cub fans I wore my "Cork" t-shirt out to my school's football game the other night. Most Cub fans thought it was funny, and poked fun at me only in a joking way. However than a couple of classless dumass Cub fans come up to me and call me a "f'ing f*****." I just kind of shrugged it off, but the next morning these idiots had taken pumpkins and had thrown it at my garage door. I was suspicious it was them to begin with and later a friend confirmed with me that they did in fact do it. Why would the Brewers make that trade? Sexson's numbers were huge and Konerko's were... well.... not. Next year's salary about the same. I could see it happening, but we'd end up giving up at least two level A prospects. CWSOX45
