  1. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 09:02 PM) Hi everyone, I'm new here. Kind of a new fan to baseball. Go Sox. Welcome
  2. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 08:53 PM) I thought Rios just went back to back for a second. Yeah so did I. I usually do not get fooled that badly on TV either.
  3. QUOTE (SpainSOXfan09 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 08:10 PM) Dunn is on pace for a horrific 500 AB 225 K season, YIKES!!! and like 55ish bombs. ill take it.
  4. Is there a link to chat? I feel like joining it tonight.
  5. Anyone else think it's f***ing retarded a team gets three straight home games in the Finals?
  6. Good I'd rather have Sale pitch vs the brewers
  7. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 10:50 PM) The jury is very much still out on whether Williams should be retained next year. The Danks contract and Molina pitching like a middle-reliever many thought he was is enough justification to go in another direction if this team falls out of the race. Jesus Christ. Danks has a few bad starts and it's a bad contract?
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 10:16 PM) I'm thinking he was OK from the get-go til the perfect game. And still not really anywhere close to fantasy material. Unless your league has 12 teams with like 20 pitchers each.
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 16, 2012 -> 10:13 PM) Bye bye Humber. A guy that throws a perfect game finally gets released from my fantasy team. Man he's meat. Oh god there was not one time this season that humber deserved to be on a fantasy roster.
  10. Fun little debate my friends and I had. What combination of 12 players today from the United States would have the best chance at knocking off the dream team? We all agreed that the chances would be slim but its still fun to put a team together.

    2012 TV Thread

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jun 15, 2012 -> 08:31 PM) Exactly my thoughts. My parents made me put it on the TV, and after about 10 minutes they mentioned a harness. Umm.....Why not just run across the damn wire, and if you fall, get up and do it again. The only reason to watch is for the risk. Yeah it isn't a stunt or being a dare devil its walking across a rope for fun.

    2012 TV Thread

3 hours of coverage tonight for a guy tightroping across niagara falls. And yet the entire thing is pointless because he is wearing a harness. Remind me again why I should be interested in a stunt in which the participant has no chance of dying.
  14. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 14, 2012 -> 10:59 PM) There are plenty of times Lebron doesn't get bailed out down the stretch, and people ALWAYS b**** when he does get a call. It's not like the Rondo play a few games back where it was clearly a foul, there were numerous plays with similar or more contact that weren't called. It always seems like people find an excuse to blame the refs whenever Miami wins. Mostly because the refs are so far up the Heat's ass that you can.
  15. Funny I didn't see the Mets appealing Johan's no hitter for Beltran's clearly fair double.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 13, 2012 -> 11:11 PM) It was alright. Nothing really ground-breaking: 1:We've known for years that Michael wanted no part of Isaiah and that's why he was left off the team. 2: We've known for years that Charles says whatever he wants to whenever he wants to. 3: We've known for years that everybody (including the players) thought Christian Laettner being on the team was a joke 4: We've known for years that the Dream Team's opponents were in awe and didn't care about losing by 60. 5: We've known for years that Scottie, at the time, hated Toni Kukoc and made it a point to stick it to Jerry Krause by embarrassing him. Basically, it's been 20 years and you knew they were going to do some kinda special. It's done now. Time to stop looking back and enjoy what we have today. Jesus, who cares it was awesome.
  17. Literally hate how pitchers kill rallies in the NL. It's an even bigger copout when you walk the 8th hitter to get to them. So stupid.
  18. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 13, 2012 -> 11:53 AM) People shouldn't be so hard on LBJ if the Heat don't win it all this year, last year he was the reason the Heat failed, this year he might have to score 40 plus every game for the Heat to win, OKC is simply the better and more balanced team. If he goes 0-3 in the Finals, you could give him a break for his first Finals, a 22 year old leading his team vs a dynasty Spurs team isn't a fair fight, this year the Heat aren't better than OKC...last year he stunk up the joint and got clobbered in the media, rightfully so. This year, if he plays well, I'll give him a pass if he loses. I'm gunna be hard on a guy who goes 0-3 in the finals when he calls himself King and has chosen one tatooed on his back. Sorry.
  19. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 12, 2012 -> 10:44 PM) 105 points for the Thunder and they get basically nothing from Harden. Forget all that "series doesn't start until the road team wins" garbage. The Heat better get game 2 or this one is over. Remember when you were talking about the Spurs going 16-0 in the playoffs? I agree with you though I picked OKC to win in 5 earlier today and they showed it tonight.
  20. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 12, 2012 -> 02:01 PM) Bing maps are also very good, too. Very, very good. Of course, you'd know that since you're an apparent map expert that has used no mapping service other than Google maps! I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about anymore. Yes, Google has good maps, very good, but they've done almost nothing new with it other than add turn by turn (Android only) over the last few years. They've FINALLY made some announcements that upcoming changes are occurring...and why? Because they know Apple is entering the market...and now they can't sit back and do nothing... Competition is good, and this is yet another example as to why. When Apple takes something seriously, and it appears they are taking this seriously, they tend to do it really REALLY well. Competition is great as long as Apple doesn't force you to use their maps which I wouldn't put past them.
