The Unpopular Thread
QUOTE (rangercal @ Jan 23, 2009 -> 08:40 AM) I don't care for college basketball as much as I do for the NBA. I just don't think 6 foot white guys should be able to dominate basketball the way they do in college. I don't care for most domestic beers (Miller,Bud and Coors) I feel a majority of people who drink that crap on a regular basis are people swayed in by marketing and not the quality of the product. I despise most top 40 music. If it's popular, I probably hate it. I am tired of family guy. A bunch of funny lines thrown together, and some poor jerk has to draw a story around it. I hate people who have to fill their Myspace pages with so many crap songs, pictures and videos that it takes 5 minutes to load . I hate groups of people who stand side by side on an escalator blocking any attempt to walk around them. (this is especially annoying at an airport) I thought this thread was for things most people would like that you hate. I doubt most people like obstructed escalators.

The Unpopular Thread
I don't like Scrubs, 24, The King of Queens, How I Met Your Mother, 2 1/2 Men, ER, any CSI, American Dad, newer Family Guy, new game shows (Deal or No Deal I'm looking at you!), any MTV network. I could care less about hockey or professional wrestling. Nicolas Cage gives me the willies.

We'll see if they even last long enough to make the 3rd generation "cheap" car. They have been hit pretty hard by the recession from what I've read.

LOST!!!!
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 22, 2009 -> 09:44 AM) Both are bad, but Widmore a little more so. "Bad" is relative. Until we really understand their true motivations we might find out neither are really "bad".

The Democrat Thread
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 01:30 PM) The Iraq War was a colossal mistake, and one he should be judged harshly on. But instability in that region was just as high at times, and even higher on occasion, than it is now. That region was a powderkeg long before Bush further stoked the fire. I was just trying to find one example where, with time, his presidency might even look worse than now. All these conservatives keep saying "Time will tell" with the implied assumption that we'll look at his presidency more favorably. I'm saying we might learn more and realize it was worse than first imagined.

The Democrat Thread
QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 10:13 AM) But I also think that some things he did will be much more understood with time. You're right. In 20 years we'll realize that the unfathomable instability in the middle east (because right now it's slightly fathomable) was triggered by his idea to start a war against a sovereign nation.

2009 Inauguration
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 20, 2009 -> 06:50 PM) Nobody is trying to be against and afraid of Christianity nor its crazies. I just feel like faith and the Church is very out of place in an event where a Federal official who represents all races, creeds and religions is being sworn in. I mean, isnt it a BIT weird that there was almost a mini religious service right before a civic ceremony was held? It just doesnt belong there. I just read this on the Trib online... LINK

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 21, 2009 -> 10:09 AM) I also find that every trainer at my gym is hilariously overweight. Why would I take your advice when its clear you have no idea what a diet and workout routine should be anyway. ^^^^
