Sox/Cub Tickets (6-22)
If they were smart and dealt Dye or Buehrle, then I would pay for seats to another game... It'd give me hope for the future.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 09:36 AM) Buster Onley says if KW puts Mark and Dye out on the market now he will get a great return, if he waits when the market gets more saturated he will get a lot less. I was skeptical heading into this show, but really enjoyed it last night. In fact, it was right up my ally and I think has a lot of promise to be one of the more entertaining programs of the summer running back to back with Entourage... My Sunday nights are set!- Carlos Lee
I guarantee he gets booed... though i will be cheering.- 2007 MLB Amateur Draft Thread
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 04:08 PM) Explain that to the other 10 teams that wanted nothing to do with him. Don't you think they know that? They obviously value the negoiation process a LOT more than our Mel Kipers here. The upside isn't the point. What good is selecting a guy if he's not a lock to sign or you know it will be difficult? Of course if the Sox are/were willing to give a prospect that kind of money ($3-5 million,) it's only natural that the b****ing about not spending that money on the major league team will start to arise. your point?- 2007 MLB Amateur Draft Thread
QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Jun 7, 2007 -> 03:51 PM) So I guess the Sox aren't the only MLB team with their heads up their asses, or the experts here ASSume way too much. I wonder which one it is. hmmmm... one plus pitch four plus pitches??? gee, which one has more upside?- 2007 MLB Amateur Draft Thread
this hard-assed Scott Boras client thing... I'm done with it... its basically our organization saying we're going to ignore top talent on princicple, and then watching our #1 competition laugh while they jack off to Porcello's stat lines- 2007 MLB Amateur Draft Thread

Is this on the radio?- Question about today's draft
Is this going to be on the radio?? I want to hear when LaPorta's name is called out.- No truth to Dye for Abreu??!!?
I'd rather shoot myself in the crotch than watch Abreu for the next year and a half.- First Round Mock Draft
I REALLY want LaPorta.- Saw the Knights last night
That's pretty awesome, looks it was a great experience, and it also looks like Craig Wilson can f*** off...- Baseball draft
I'm going to DVR it to see what they have to say about a few guys... the best part of this will be just the general however many hours its televised baseball discussion... and highlights of these kids.- Jeff Samardzija moves to bullpen

QUOTE(rangercal @ Jun 5, 2007 -> 11:54 AM) some other things to add: How the hell is Pujols only 44? Should be top 10 in sports. It helps to speak English well...- Trent Green to the Fins
Trent Green's best days are far behind him...- Cracked.com's list of "That Guys"
This is pretty good... I love some of the "poor man's" comparisons. That Guys- Parental Control Software
It's summer... tell them to go outside and have a fun summer... no need for the internet!- "The Dark Knight"
The Bale film was great simply because we got a history of how Bruce Wayne actually turned into Batman. They also sold the fear of bats that Wayne had much better than how they tried to do so in Batman Forever. Plain and simple, they started Batman from the start, had him truly becoming Batman, and thats what makes me so in love with that film. Plus, how good is Liam Neeson in pretty much anything? - John from Cincinnati
