QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 6, 2013 -> 08:41 AM) Good to see you guys making them know that the lockout won't be tolerated! Hey, I said I'd come back like a sucker. A team I've loved and followed through the darkest of times won a championship a few years ago and is undefeated in regulation through 10 games - kinda hard not to be jacked. -

That game last night was a blast - it was nice to see the Hawks finally get to Niemi. The first ten or so minutes of the game were nuts, and it was nice to see Crawford calm down after that and make some truly exceptoinal saves. I'm going to go ahead and say I'm a Crawford believer, after years of s***ting on him. Also, when Toews and Kaner are on the ice together, it's ridiculous. Toews never quits and Kane knows how to make himself open - and it worked beautifully on that 4th goal last night. 8-0-2 through 10 games, 8 of which have been on the road. This season, gentlemen, this season is one that's going to be cherished. -

He fell off the map so quickly. From up and comer to beast to done seemingly overnight.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 10:20 AM) What's the timeline on the one in the City? BTW, I f***ing love when people use the word "reckon." It's looking mid to late next week for decision time. It's a very intriguing company.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 09:55 AM) Any idea if it is a similar increase in pay? I reckon it'd be even more.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 09:38 AM) Plus he is only 23 years old. The Lighting have scored 39 goals already this year. He's been a part of 17 of those. -

Steve Stamkos is amazing. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 5, 2013 -> 08:26 AM) Bears spent the 5th most on their offense in the league. Sadly, Devin Hester's salary counts as "offense". I want that idiot gone so bad.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 12:38 PM) I think it is more about advancing his career than the money. I'm not sure, but I think Steve is around 30 and no kids? That's not the time to be afraid to step outside of his comfort zone... I turn 30 in 19 days and we haven't popped out a child yet. The other issue is that I've cast a wide net and another position I like that is about a 15 minute drive is in the early stages of interviewing.

Hm. Am I the only one who found The Americans to be rather cheesy and even s***ty?

Ease Rankings are calculated by comparing opponent production data with their season averages, and are not simply a straight team-by-team comparison. For this reason, a larger statistical number does not automatically equate with a larger Ease number. All values are assigned by way of z-scores Moral of the story? It sucks to play against the Bulls. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/schedule-anal...TGgohd9Gvm5bZ8u

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 11:18 AM) I'll pretty much have to start the lies which would be bad news. Actually, you don't ever have to lie.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 11:04 AM) This is where it is not always so easy to get those workouts in...a lot of people are faced with this sort of thing and it certainly does complicate things more. There is an XSport close to this proposed position, so I'm sure I'd figure it out. A comfort zone is certainly a place hard to leave, but it's hard to grow in a comfort zone.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 10:50 AM) Once you get used to it, a mile walk isn't bad, even in the winter. Just layer up. I did it for a lot of years. I'm mostly concerned with ruining my morning workout schedule, as stated. Just being stupid - we'll see.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 10:45 AM) That being said, I am currently in the same predicament. As my current job lets me do whatever I want, but any sort of higher paying job would require me to actually be a work b****. Maybe when I grow up Exactly.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 08:54 AM) Say nothing beyond this. Stop. Do not pass go on this one. Don't get involved with people you work with or at the same company as...it's never a good idea. I disagree - some of the best marriages start as work relationships. This cuts off a huge segment of able-bodied females.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Feb 4, 2013 -> 10:22 AM) You're sure you couldn't grab the L once you get off the metra instead of a bus? Anytime but winter I could honestly walk it - it's a one mile walk north of Ogilvie. I'm mostly concerned with screwing up my admittedly awesome workout schedule in the morning and either having to switch to evenings or get up at 4:45 every day.
