    Dunn is done!
  2. The saddest part of this story is that it's up to f***ing Greg Walker as good players hit like s***. F*ck Walker.
  3. Matt Holliday had an emergency appendectomy days before Adam Dunn and has a 158 OPS+. Adam Dunn's is a special kind of sucking.
  4. The agent for Steelers RT Willie Colon revealed Monday that his client has a torn triceps muscle and is likely to miss the rest of the season. Colon is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday morning. The Bears tried like hell to get this guy.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 07:49 AM) FWIW, RedZone is free with Comcast's HD tier. It was a free preview this weekend, but that is incorrect.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 12, 2011 -> 08:24 AM) ESPNStatsInfo ESPN Stats & Info Colts worst reg season loss since drafting Peyton Manning was a 38-pt loss to the Jets in 1998, Manning's rookie year. The Colts without Peyton is akin to the Cavaliers without LeBron.
  7. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 11, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) He kept telling Goff that Steelers >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bears. Ahahahaha. It's one game.
  8. Wade Phillips has b**** tits.

When I re-actived NFL RedZone, I also got some other freebies. Included in this was Starz. I just watched a movie on demand called "What Doesn't Kill You", starring Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo. I'd never heard of it, and was quite surprised with how good it was. There were some plot holes, but overall an enjoyable South Boston con-man story.

    Anyone watch Torchwood?
  11. 2 more bombs than adam dunn still.
  12. That game last night was f***ing awesome. I have no idea why Payton would call a run to end the game when their run game was so ineffective, though.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 8, 2011 -> 03:46 PM) And the Colts have none of that. They just have a lot of wins over the last 10 years, so people jumped on to the bandwagon. Who cares? They support a good product. You're a White Sox fan and you want to rip that kind of stuff?
  14. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 8, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) While the rest of us morons will be putting away our Sox gear. Mods should show better taste instead of posting something like this. Yeah, I didn't really get that point. Peyton being out is bad for football. Colts games have now become unwatchable.
  15. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 8, 2011 -> 02:19 PM) ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirms that Peyton Manning underwent cervical fusion surgery on his neck Thursday morning. Manning's recovery timetable is 2-3 months at minimum. Per Mort, there's no word yet on the possibility of injured reserve. We imagine the Colts will hold off on that decision as long as possible, though the season is circling the drain. Manning won't play before Halloween and possibly not until Thanksgiving. Kerry Collins is still just a low-end QB2 in what will likely be a more run-oriented offense than it's been under Manning. Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Austin Collie, and Pierre Garcon all take severe blows. He's not going to play this year.
  16. Entering his age 31 season, Steve Finley had 47 career homeruns. He finished with 304.
  17. Jeez, Big Jim has been awful with the Indians.
  18. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 7, 2011 -> 05:26 PM) I don't see this being reported anywhere. Don't tell me Steve pulled another LeBron/Bosh debacle. Peyton Manning Out for Season
  19. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 7, 2011 -> 12:54 AM) Does anyone else absolutely hate first person games? I used to enjoy them, but now that every first-person game seems to come out with a mostly pathetic storyline and complete focus on online play, I rarely play them (save the Modern Warfares, because renting those for the storyline is worth it). I just have no interest in being "pwned" by 12 year olds who play from 3pm til midnight every weekday and all weekend long. I generally only play sports games and the occasional 3rd person action game (see Batman, Uncharted, Red Dead Redemption). Madden 12 is really, really strong. Meriweather likes knocking motherf*ckers out!

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 10:43 PM) Sons Of Anarchy coming out strong for its fourth season. Dear God what a start. That episode was amazing.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 5, 2011 -> 11:28 PM) That would have been wild had he thrown a perfect game. He almost did. I guess Valencia's hit is symbolic of our season. It woulda been the first day all year the Sox were THE story of baseball (on a positive side; we've been the story on the negative side). Your posts are just wild.
  22. Christ in a dumptruck, Williams/Hester listed as our starting WR. Why on Earth would the Bears put this responsibility on Hester yet again, when last year he did so much better on the one thing he's good at with a reduced offensive role? God damn, this team is so mindless sometimes. Hasn't this "Hester as Wide Receiver" experiment been proven a bad idea?

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 6, 2011 -> 04:26 PM) "Critics agree, Human Centipede 2 will take you on a wild ride! Gene Shalit says 'Human Centipede 2 will make you beg for more'" "Dicks as antennae! What will they think of next!"
