QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 11, 2011 -> 11:21 AM) Indeed. That LeBron guy is pretty good at ball handling and getting to the rim, too. He's no Darren Collison.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 11, 2011 -> 11:18 AM) The group that has one person? I'm sorry. To say the Pacers were a more difficult matchup than the Heat will be is asinine. You're telling me D-wade doesn't present a tougher challenge than Collins and Teague when it comes to dribble penetration, pick and roll? Because he's not a "PG"? Wade can get to the cup as often or more as any elite PG in the league. Yeah, the Heat are the toughest matchup for anyone really, because they are really f***ing good. I don't understand why people think a team whose second best scorer is Tyler Hansbrough is a tougher matchup than a team whose second best scorer is a pick between Wade and James.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 11, 2011 -> 11:10 AM) Not to mention I think it'll be easier for Rose to drive and dish on a guy like Bibby. I actually think we're going to see LeBron on D-Rose if we meet the Heat in the ECF.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 11, 2011 -> 10:18 AM) I'll take the 2008/2009/2010 playoffs vs the Lakers over your 3-game regular season rebuttal. Quickness and length has always bothered Boozer. Go for it, but one set of games directly reflects the situation you refer to, while the other does not. The Lakers have nothing to do with this year's Heat team.

QUOTE (kitekrazy @ May 10, 2011 -> 08:58 PM) Outside of winning the CY Young, his resume does not spell "ace" in my book. 1,459 ks in 1,469.2 IP with a 1.19 WHIP, 3.32 ERA and a .231 batting average doesn't spell ace to you? Jesus Christ. If he can ever be healthy again for a given period, Jake will show that he indeed is an ace. That's a big if, of course. However, his resume is acetastic in my book.

I requested my Google Music BETA invite. I wonder how long it'll take to get it.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 10, 2011 -> 02:36 PM) there is a couple different iterations of Green Lantern through the years. The guy that RR is playing(Hal Jordan) is supposed to be an incredibly self centered jerk. He actually goes bad in the comics(then I think he comes back to Green Lantern later on again). The Green Lantern chose him because he is fearless. But strangely enough, his sense of humor is very appropriate for Deadpool Nerd.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 11, 2011 -> 10:07 AM) Do you really believe that 1/18 game was Boozer's D? 3 games scattered over the course of a 6 month regular season is not the same as a 7-game series. Boozer on Bosh is a bad matchup. Taj is definitely going to have to get some more run. Dude, no I don't. Your point was that he'll "clown Boozer", when the Bulls d'd him up quite well and clearly didn't let Boozer cover him. My point was that your point was invalid due to Boozer's defense on Bosh not mattering.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 11, 2011 -> 09:54 AM) lol. Um, I don't think so. The Heat will present more difficult obstacles than the Pacers/Hawks combined. Their athleticism at the 2, 3 and 4 is unparalleled. Bosh is exactly the type of PF that's clowned Boozer in the past. For the first time, Rose will not be the unquestioned best player on the court. s***, he might not even be the second best player on the court. Yeah, and he clearly clowned Boozer over the course of 3 games during the regular season this year to the tune of 34% shooting, averaging 15 points, 6 boards, and a block.

QUOTE (iamshack @ May 11, 2011 -> 08:52 AM) The cost of that cheap shot by Bynum? $702k. Ouch. Here's a random question. Where does that money go? NBA Charities?

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 10, 2011 -> 09:36 PM) DEREK. ROSE. Oof. Fail.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 10, 2011 -> 02:32 PM) Pakistani land records show that Osama bin Laden paid $1 million for his compound—but that was in 2005, before the real-estate bubble popped. As-is, the compound is now worth probably $250,000, and cleanup costs from a Navy SEAL raid are separate and considerable. Assume that OBL put $200,000 down. So he has an $800,000 mortgage on a property worth only about a third of that. Yes, you guessed it: Osama bin Laden is going to be underwater for a long time. slow clap

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 11, 2011 -> 08:03 AM) So on my 2004 Impala the speakers have quit working. The stereo still works, because you can see the info scrolling past about what station, the song title etc. Also if you play a CD it spins, counts down, skips to tracks etc. What would cause that? Fuse or a lose wire? It just completely quit working from one day to the next. It isn't even like it would go in and out before it quit working. I'd think your radio is toast. I'd doubt it's a loose wire, because you'd randomly have had to have all 4 speakers' wires come loose at the exact same time. Same with the fuse, I don't believe your radio would even "light up" if the fuse was loose or dead. Go to Best Buy, buy a radio for $99 or higher and get the free installation.

If the Sox got sold - and moved out of state

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 11, 2011 -> 07:55 AM) I don't understand that mentality. I have either lived in NY or Germany my entire life and have only been to Chicago twice (both times the main purpose was to see games) yet I feel I'm probably more of a knowledgeable and diehard fan of the White Sox than 90% of people in Chicago. That's pretty cool... how on Earth did you become a Sox fan? Frank? -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 10, 2011 -> 12:30 PM) Well, for what it's worth, Steven A Smith has also reported that PJ is interested in the Knicks. Carlisemo??

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ May 10, 2011 -> 12:15 PM) Link Looks like Phil Jackson isn't ready to call it quits and might consider the Knicks HC job...here we go again. It's the New York Post. Come on, they are one step short of reporting on Elvis being alive.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 10, 2011 -> 11:55 AM) Yup. I don't follow hoops the way I do baseball. But the two best perimeter defenders in the game this year were Tony Allen and AI. I say that with confidence. As my friend has the league pass and we watched a ton of games this year. Kobe hasn't been a great defender since like 2003. Not horrible. But not great. You really gotta call him AI2.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 10, 2011 -> 11:46 AM) I didnt notice that part. I hate those bleachers, its bad enough you have to sit by Cubs fans, but fighting over a 5 inch space to sit is even worse. I do find it funny that they decide to offer Budweiser products on special when the St. Louis Cardinals are in town. Talk about not knowing your enemy. Cardinals fans are trained to guzzle Bud products, and thusly will have a huge upper-hand in the bleacher brawls this evening. It's going to be a bloodbath.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 9, 2011 -> 10:35 PM) Ha, it works on so many levels. That is because it was genius.
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 10, 2011 -> 11:33 AM) a $3 Bud is better than a $7 Miller, especially if you plan on drinking several of them I'm a tad annoyed it's only for the bleachers. I got excited since I'm going tonight to see the Cards, but I'm not sitting bleachers.
