QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 10:04 PM) Cannot wait until the Tampa 2 is out of Chicago. Watching QB after QB just tear this apart throwing into wide open spaces because we don't alter routes or bump off the line. You realize we held a team to 17 points that was averaging over 30 for the last two seasons, right? And we only allowed 7 points in the 2nd half? When you get pressure on the QB (and yes, the Bears had pressure, see all those holding and false start penalties), the Tampa 2 can work. We're 3-0 right now, so let's hope the trend continues!

QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 09:53 PM) OH HESTER! Anyone who listened to Boers and Bernstein earlier in the week has to be cracking up. Ha, I thought the same thing when it went down.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 07:27 AM) Pretty intense first episode. It will be interesting to see Dexter get himself out of what he is in now, especially with Quinn looking at him like he did it and Deb questioning it as well. I cant wait to see Peter Wellers character, he looked creepy as hell in the preview. The "Quinn chases Dexter" smells a bit too much like "Doakes chases Dexter" from season 2, but the season looks badass regardless.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 26, 2010 -> 09:28 AM) It is going to be fun to watch this Hawks team with a goalie who can handle the puck. Man what a change back there... This. On Saturday night, Turco was responsible for catching the Wings in a line change and started a fastbreak that lead to a Hawks goal. I can't believe some fools whined about losing a one-and-done like Niemi and winding up with an All-Star in Turco.

The Dexter premiere was absolutely fantastic. So was Mad Men last night. I wonder if Joanie actually got the kid taken care of...

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 11:45 AM) Is Gar/Pax really going to forgo a chance of getting Melo for the sake of keeping Noah? I just don't understand that. They f*** everything up. This will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. If Melo is holding out for NYN or CHI, then he'd clearly sign an extension with either.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 03:53 PM) Fifa It's supposedly a big upgrade from 10 and obviously all the transfers are done with the clubs etc... But does it have ninja outfits?

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 03:44 PM) BTW, it's been reported Joakim was offered 5 years/57 million a few weeks ago, and was none too happy about it. Apparently, he's looking for max money, or at least what Bynum got. The reported figure when the story first drop was higher for the initial offer.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 03:17 PM) Dead Rising 2 or FIFA 11? Any other opinions? Dude, why keep asking? You've already stated like 4 times that you don't think it's worth the upgrade from 09 and you clearly have your mind made up. Get the stupid zombie game.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 07:32 PM) Sanchez is not the QB everyone thinks he is. He's somewhere between the awful he was in Week 1 and the very solid he was in Week 2. He'll wind up being on about Eli Manning's level... that's my best guess.

QUOTE (3E8 @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 05:58 PM) This coming from the guy who used a grainy mugshot as a counterpoint for multiple posters who were into Michelle Rodriguez. I was seriously waiting for this. Classic me! I guess I despise Michelle Rodriguez, and I love Christina Hendricks, so I pick and choose how I develop my arguments around that. Also, I like women with some curves, and it seemed like that post was directly ripping a woman for having some curves and not being dolled up. Having curves > getting DUI's.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 08:51 AM) I was disappointed with both new episodes Sunny has put out in season 6. Something seems to be missing... I can tell you what went wrong, and it happened between seasons 3 and 4. They turned Frank into a bumbling, disgusting idiot instead of a smooth schemer with an air of confidence that he always knew what was up even if he didn't. Couple that with everyone acting like Charlie instead of just Charlie being Charlie, and it came a bit unhinged. It's still very funny and I like the actors, but it will never be pre-season 4, I think.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 08:17 AM) I really enjoy paying attention to facial expressions in Sunny. Sometimes I can't stop laughing just looking at some of their faces. Absolutely. Dennis is the best.

QUOTE (Kalapse @ Sep 24, 2010 -> 12:06 AM) The Goodfellas episode sealed it for me with Abed; amazing. I enjoyed his Don Draper and Batman last year. My favorite episode of all-time is the paintball episode, simply because of all the amazing action movie references.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 04:44 PM) Remember what I said that they haven't made a show you didn't like? This is the type of post that made me say it You've just ignored a LOT of posts that I write ripping programs. I also have an open mind and am not going to thump my chest and act too manly to watch a show like Glee which can be entertaining.

QUOTE (T R U @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 03:56 PM) lol most overrated team in the league Sounds like a Dolphins fan. Listen, they just stomped a fairly competitive Patriots team while playing nowhere near their best ball. The Jets are very talented.

I know I base all of my video game purchase decisions on whether they come with a code for a ninja outfit!

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 02:47 PM) Let's face facts, people have bad taste in television shows, Glee is a hit even though it is possibly one of the worst atrocities on TV. Easy, big fella. I respect a program that tries to do something new and finds a vast audience. FOX was brilliant to air this directly following Idol, thus getting that audience to tune in... Personally, the wife loves Glee, and I'll watch it with her occasionally, and it really can be funny while the performances are top-notch.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 01:02 PM) I think it's pretty much mandatory that you have to laugh at that. Your link title says it all. He promotes the frat-house behavior but when the mice stop worrying about the cat, you have yourself this type of s***. You can't be Mr. Buddy Buddy "I don't give a s***" and then start giving a s***. Lucky for Rex, his team is insanely talented with or without Revis/Edwards.

QUOTE (JPN366 @ Sep 23, 2010 -> 02:41 PM) I have FIFA 09, why should I rent Dead Rising 2 and purchase FIFA 11? I was only answering the post as originally typed. I've never owned a FIFA game, nor do I plan to given my distaste for the game of soccer. It's my experience that games like Dead Rising 2 you can defeat within a rented amounts' time, while a sports game keeps you entertained for a calendar year.
