QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 26, 2010 -> 08:00 AM) He also needs to get to the line a lot to be a top guy,. I'll take one step at a time. -
Yeah, I mean, if you don't have MW2 then checking out MAG might be worth it. My next two games will be Heavy Rain and The Show.

Hm. The Bulls are playing some really good basketball, and we're seeing the evolution of Derrick Rose's shooting game. -
QUOTE (flavum @ Jan 25, 2010 -> 08:36 PM) In my world, I give Beckham 6, Rios 15, Teahen 24, and Viciedo 52. Torres, I don't know...31. That would make for a LOT of pissed of jersey owners. The Sox aren't that nuts.

QUOTE (bmags @ Jan 23, 2010 -> 04:18 PM) wait a second, doesn't STL use provel? Yes. That's it. It turns into a delicious goo.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 23, 2010 -> 12:52 PM) I'd rather make my own pizza at home, St Louis style. That's funny. I thought I was the only person who thinks St. Louis style pizza is the best. The cheese makes it.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Jan 25, 2010 -> 02:46 PM) anyone plan on picking up MAG? I played the demo and didn't think it was worth the $60. I'd rather just play MW2.

Give Slav the scoop on this one. He just notified me on AIM. He's been ok from 3pt this year, so he's more useful than the great white DNP. -
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 25, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) This reminds me so much of last year. Going into season, we all knew that Wise in the leadoff/CF spot was going to be a disaster. If you go with Kotsay/Jones at DH, you deserve to get no contributions from the DH spot. That is a damn-good point. Ozzie wanted to use Wise, too, just like how Ozzie wants flexibility at DH vs production.

QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Jan 25, 2010 -> 11:26 AM) Mo Rivera has made 114 mil for being a reliever. Then again, he is the best ever. $105,000 / inning pitched

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jan 25, 2010 -> 05:12 AM) I played Uncharted 2 a bit and I must say, as far as graphics and story go, this game is absolutely stunning. The gameplay is awesome as well, but my only complaint is how difficult it can be to navigate and/or figure out what the hell to do sometimes. I've found myself walking around for minutes on end not having the slightest clue of how or what to do. I'm really liking my PS3 so far. I loved my 360, but the Blu Ray/free online capabilities/WiFi makes it a fantastic piece of equipment. I own 3 games: Uncharted 2, NHL 10, and Gran Turismo 5 and it's pretty badass. Takes a while to get used to the controller having played 360 for so long, but getting there. We'll have to play some NHL. I'm glad you are enjoying your purchase.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 05:45 PM) I'm the only ridiculous thing allowed around here. You should know that Steve. Hehe. You is so correct! -
Jake Peavy I expect him to be in the top 5 for AL Cy Young and to be top 2 in strikeouts.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 01:25 PM) Nope. Not hearing it. Kobe's not within sniffing distance. He can have 2nd best ever, but he'll never be the best. End of story. Uh, he's not even remotely close to 2nd best ever. -

QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 24, 2010 -> 09:29 AM) That is just a ridiculous statement, Kobe came along before Jordan even retired and you dont think another player will ever come up again that is as good? There might not be any player who lives up to Jordan in the eyes of everyone who saw him in the 90's but there will be a few who might come close to being as good or even better. Kobe sure as f*** isn't one of them, so thusly your statement is ridiculous. -

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 23, 2010 -> 04:36 PM) Kobe is the closest thing to MJ that any of us will ever see and probably ever will. Yet he's still not even close. -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 23, 2010 -> 11:40 AM) Stats are obviously not everything. But Lebron puts Kobe to shame in just about every statistical category (standard and advanced) that there is. That just can't be overlooked, IMO. Yeah, Kobe's been around longer and he's got the four rings. But there really is no legitimate argument one can make for Kobe currently being a better player than Lebron. ...except Championships. LBJ needs to show me more of a killer instinct. -
Nice win in Calgary for the Hawks tonight. Niemi again showing why he should be the number one.

F*ck the Bulls. I'm so f*cking sick of these dogsh*t f*cking players. (Minus D-Rose) -
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 21, 2010 -> 08:48 AM) Yeah Im still failing to see what is holding the white sox back from signing Thome. If Ozzie wants to rotate the DH spot more he can still do that by sitting Thome vs lefties. It would make the lineup much better, be relatively cheap signing, and bringing back a fan favorite.... You make the perfect point here. Sit him against lefties, start Andruw vs righties. If one of them gets hot, well, there's your DH. That could be an incredibly effective combination at the DH spot for a total of what? 2.5 million dollars? Bringing back Big Jim at this point is a no-brainer.

Personally I need to see Niemi fail before I'm not convinced he can be our #1 option. You have to give him some run before you go out and get another 'tender. He has a .921 save percentage and has picked it up in big games. Give me Niemi! (starting tonight, btw)
