  1. QUOTE (chunk23 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 03:47 PM) Lee appears unwilling to be "locked up". He wants to get become a FA and get paid. And he's a whopping 1 year younger.
  2. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 03:35 PM) Replacing youth with aging... Right. Cliff Lee: Aug 30, 1978 Roy Halladay: May 14, 1977 That one year is going to make a hellofa difference.
  3. QUOTE (Mattchoo @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 03:35 PM) Ok, was it really said on ESPN 1000 that Adrian Gonzalez trade is being discussed right now? I don't have it streaming at the moment... It's just classic ESPN s*** slurping the Red Sox. How does Clay Buchholz even have trade value anymore? Isn't he like 25 now, and having done nothing really in the bigs?
  4. I'm so glad I have a ps3 so I don't have to worry about how s***ty 2k10 will be.
  5. Halladay is the much better pitcher, this makes way more sense now that I actually look at the numbers.
  6. At first, I thought Lee was much younger and this was a huge screw up. Lee is only 1 year younger than Halladay. I guess it works out, as Halladay is a horse and brings a great rightie to that rotation, and I guess he'll sign the extension.
  7. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 14, 2009 -> 02:17 PM) Me too. Bennett, Knox and Aromashodu look to be all NFL capable WR's. Aroma looked unbelievable yesterday and Cutler has been lobying for him all season including when he was almost cut from the team. You have been brainwashed by the Bears. Congratulations.
  8. www.arkhamhasmoved.com Yep, sequel, will be great I assume.
  9. That game last night sure was fun to watch. Hossa's goal might have been the best one I've seen scored by the Hawks in the last 20 years. I think that took greater ability than Toews' goal against the 'Lanche a few years ago... Zhamnov had some sweet dekes when he was here, he'd come in from the side and with one hand put the puck around the goaltender, but I think Hossa catching the puck, dropping it in front of him and slapping it out of midair past a well-positioned goaltender (while moving) was the most difficult move I have yet to see.
  10. It's almost comical that 95% of the fanbase was livid with VDN's hiring, yet folks paid millions per year decided to hire that f***-up. I'm sure Hinrich and Tyrus could "turn the ship around" though! F*ck the bulls.

QUOTE (Sonik22 @ Dec 9, 2009 -> 09:39 PM) I'm excited for Shutter Island This. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 9, 2009 -> 09:53 PM) I've been seeing the trailer for that for, what seems like, a year. And that.

    Vegas

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Dec 10, 2009 -> 09:25 AM) Oh her father booked them both a separate suite, so that is definitely not out! I think he meant that you should bang both of them. And you should.
  13. That game was so f***ing awesome last night. Glad I braved the snow and went!
  14. QUOTE (SouthsideDon48 @ Dec 10, 2009 -> 01:21 AM) lol, I thought this was gonna be some kinda ugly wife thread. That is what I expected as well.
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 9, 2009 -> 05:43 PM) http://www2.tbo.com/exposure/full/2009/07/...obama-jeans.jpg That one oughtta do it.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 10:16 PM) That 3 point attempt just made me sick. Something tells me that ball was supposed to move around a little bit more than it did and Salmons took it upon himself. Really? Where did you hear about that? radio. i heard it too.
  17. QUOTE (The Critic @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 01:57 PM) "when I'm on my way from one mistress to another, I find that Gatorade helps replenish the electrolytes and minerals I've lost during my strenuous activities. Without Gatorade, I would have to take a break between transgressions. THANKS, GATORADE!!" That's G.
  18. This is quite interesting... I really like this deal for the Tigers and Yankees, while the D'backs I'm not too sure what's going on over there.

    Vegas

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Dec 8, 2009 -> 12:02 PM) I'll be in Vegas for my gf's birthday from December 30th - January 2. We'll be staying at the Trump and I just wanted to know if anyone had any tips and places that I wouldn't want to miss while I'm there. Good bar suggestions would be appreciated. You should purchase one of those cool bar packages for the Palms prior to your arrival at Vegas. We went like two months ago and got ours (like $60 for the full pass) and you don't wait in any lines and can check out some really really cool clubs (Playboy, Ghostbar, Moon, Rain). It was a good time. Also, learn how to play blackjack, you can make some good money if you have the odds memorized.
