Executions
I'd prefer execution. There's no guarantee the system won't find a way to let that f***er back out on the streets down the line. I'd want to watch said person die.

I have strawberry blonde hair, and light freckles. If that makes me a ginger y'all can suck my nuts.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Nov 10, 2009 -> 06:29 PM) In other news, he changed his number to 55. Who changed his number to 55? Ben Eager is still listed as 55 on the Hawks website, and has been #55 for quite some time.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 08:50 AM) He didn't get the foul call at the end of the Bulls game and nothing really came of it. Are you kidding? Sportscenter spent 15 minutes on it and had interviews with LeBron and Co. complaining.

ESPN Insider
QUOTE (jimmy @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 01:24 AM) Anyone have an ESPN insider account?? I always see articles that look good but can't read them. Share the wealth?? If ESPN detects more than a few IP addresses logging in with ESPN insider, they will cancel the account without refund.

Joey Votto available?
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Nov 11, 2009 -> 07:28 AM) The better mark might be Brandon Phillips. He's flown under the radar a bit, but he's a very, good player. Now this I like.

Dye speaks.
It says a lot about how good and fun it must be to play for the White Sox given that everyone we boot gets so pissed about it.

I find it interesting that they give the option to skip the "material that might be difficult for sensitive players". What a f***ing game. I have it on hardened so I can get some enjoyment out of single player.

QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 10, 2009 -> 08:31 AM) Very awesome. I've already preordered, so this is a pretty nice surprise I'll be listening to it a lot today, I'm sure I'm pretty disappointed. It sounds like a lackluster QOTSA offering.

QUOTE (kev211 @ Nov 8, 2009 -> 07:16 PM) Not a big online fan apparently? Dude, I just don't have the time, to be honest. I can't be staying up until 4am shooting it up with a bunch of 18 year olds who have nothing better to do than hone their skills all day long. I used to have the time to commit to a game like say, Halo 2 and even as recently as Halo 3, and of course it was a blast to completely annihilate f***ers all night and roll with your buddies. However, I'm not about to put in the time to become good enough at MW2 online. During the week I have to work and take care of the house, and on weekends normally I'm out doing s***. Basically, married life does not coddle to the online gamer. I get in my games for the online Madden dynasty, though. We'll see with MW2, I definitely want to play the single-player campaign, but 4.5 hours is quite short for $60. Heck, renting Arkham Asylum for a week and returning it 5 days past due was a perfect setup, and that single-player game was pretty long. If I decide I want to start losing sleep, I'll buy MW2, but I think I'll rent it and enjoy the single-player. QUOTE (T R U @ Nov 8, 2009 -> 10:45 PM) That being said.. The campaign for MW2 is still awesome.. and besides, I did it on the easiest setting just to go through it.. if you played on the harder ones it would most certainly take you longer. However, this is great to hear. I'd more than likely play it on the harder difficulty settings to get a realistic gaming experience. You know once I have it in-hand I won't be able to resist the multiplayer.

Marcus Jordan - Adidas Situation
QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 7, 2009 -> 02:33 PM) There was an article in The Orlando Sentinel referencing a few players from different schools and sports, including a couple of UCF football players, who wore Nike shoes while their respective school were sponsored by adidas and adidas didnt care. If his name was Marcus Jackson instead of Marcus Jordan then adidas wouldnt care. Jordan also wore plain white Jordans with no visible logo on the shoe. In pictures, the only logo you can see is the adidas logo on his ankle braces. I am 100% in Jordan's camp, now. He went out of his way to make it as inconspicuous as possible, and put an ADIDAS logo right above the shoe. We all want to pay homage to our fathers, and he has done nothing wrong in this situation.

I'm shocked people continue to purchase iPhones, considering the God-awful call and 3G reception. My buddy's iPhone is basically a crappy handheld video game for about 25% of the time.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 9, 2009 -> 11:17 AM) If we could seriously see someone willing to take on Deng's contract, then that makes it vastly more palatable. Deng is 24 and showing signs of returning to his previous form. You could move him easily.
