Alright somehow my Ipod is messed up a bit...basically the click wheel is being weird. The middle button appears to be locked in the down position or something, because no matter what button i press on the click wheel (forward, backward, menu, play/pause), it executes the middle button function. It also doesn't quite feel right. Any ideas on what to do? Like is this fixable without sending it in?

Check this out: Currently Krush and the Izzone (and other assorted fans) are working on a "T Shirt Swap" that will take place before the games saturday. What we want to accomplish is the Izzone to wear orange during our game, and we'll switch over to green during MSU's game. Both message boards love this idea. People are hammering out the details right now. Would be sweet if it happened.

Weber is using Self's guys. Agreed. Self is a better recruiter than Weber. However, Weber is by FAR AND AWAY a better X and O, and from what i can tell, player coach, than Self is. By a wide margin. I've watched both coach enough to know this. Bottom line, Self would not have this team in this exact position if he was behind the bench. End of story.

My head to head game vs soxnbears today, live from his dorm room: I won 8-0 on 17 hits Funny stuff: I scored 2 runs (runners on 1st and 2nd) on and INFIELD HIT that never leaves the dirt. No errors. Centerfielder has to field the ball. Figure that out. To try to save face while being destroyed, soxnbears throws at Julio Franco using the "automatic" L3/L1 combo. Franco MOVES OUT OF THE WAY OF THE PITCH. I have never seen this happen in any game i've ever played, and i've thrown at a lot of people. Fun times.

Nick at this point probably doesn't even care if we win. His attitude flat out sucks. It's his own fault he's not seeing the floor.

I'll take 2nd in my pool (90ish sheets) if Ill wins the title. Oddly enough, my girlfriend will take first. The difference? She had TT over Gonzaga, I had the Zags. There are other diffs, but that's the one game that would have flip flopped us.

Just keep in mind people, these types of comparisons are impossible. I would take any championship from one of my teams (throw the Hawks in there with those 2). For someone who hasn't seen any championships (like a lot of you i assume), any of these titles would be the pinnacle of my sports life.

Yeah...steve if you were here for 3 years already and were at as many games as i was, etc, you might change your tune. There definitely is a difference from my freshman year to now. It's built up like you wouldn't believe. And it's not even because they are better this year, it's really not. It's because i've been there since the beginning with this exact team, minus a few changes. You can't lose either way though. And i'm not being greedy. f***, i'll just take one at this point

BTW, stoudamire was absolutely owned by Williams on defense. It's not like Salim had wide open looks and missed them. He was being abused all night long. Give credit where credit is due.

I hate when kids jump early. I agree some guys are ready for it. But it just seems like the money is pulling these kids out early, whether they are ready or not. I'm biased as hell because i love the NCAA and hate the NBA, so i want everyone to stay. But i guess people have to do what's right for them.

If you are talking to me aboz...i always say "we", it's just habit. It lets people know you are fan of the team. I think saying "the Illini" every time makes it sound like you are an outside observer, maybe not a fan of the team. Plus, it is my school, so saying "we" seems alright for now. But i know i'm not part of the team. But at this point, it almost feels like a "we." It feels like the whole campus, all of Illini Nation, is in this thing for the long run. There's something to be said for the atmosphere created saturday. I'll say it right now - they don't win without the crowd. Pretty cool thing that happened saturday. But the "we" happens with all my teams, like it or not. I think a ton of people do it, you know? If you are a dedicated fan, i have no problem with you saying "we" about a team.
