Bad Managers
I was one of Brenly's biggest critics during the 2001 playoffs. He got outmanaged in the St Louis series badly, and the Yanks one to an extent. They should have been eliminated in that first series. Futhermore, i watched basically all of the recent AZ/Cubs series, and he did some real bonehead stuff. He ran on 2-0 a bunch of times, which doesn't make sense in my book. I can't recall everything, but just remember saying to myself "brenly you are an idiot" I think they won the world series despite him basically

Ya, you can't fault Olivo for not holding on, it either gets in your mitt or doesn't, like ss2k3 said. Another thing i noticed and i don't know if anyone commented on this. That reminds me. That delay was what, 7-8 minutes maybe? I don't recall jon garland tossing with anyone the entire time of the delay, and then he threw a ball to Harvey. All he had to do was throw a strike with some movement and he probly would have struck out a cold Harvey. Unless i missed it...why didn't Jon toss around to stay warm? That was a long delay. Garland didn't throw anything to Harvey, as he was stationed on the bench. Schoeneweis, however, did not throw anything between the injury and ball 4. Yes, like I said, I'm not at all blaming Miguel. It's just they way it worked out. ah, i meant to say schoe, but the thought still follows through

I don't remember that game. Please explain. I remember one game when the Yanks were here and we were up by 6 or 7 going into the ninth and Foulke turned it into a 1 run win. Unless that's sarcasm, i'll explain Buehrle had pitched 7 innings, and gave up i think one run...well manual went to Foulke to pitch the 8th and 9th. He got out of the 8th unscathed form what i can remember, but then tanked in the 9th, and Giambi hit a 3 run home run and the place erupted because it was a half Yankees crowd. I believe the date was like may 29th of last year.

You weren't at the everybody run on the field night earlier? That was the worst for me. Both the crap going on, and the way we lost. No, i'm not a season ticket holder but get to as many games as i can (and can afford) Plus, i was at Illinois for all of april and May and will be later this month, so it's hard to get to games from there obviously. You can bet i'll be coming back in for playoff games, if applicable

There will be more of the tickets sold at walkup because you can only get half price day of game......whereas monday you could buy tickets in advance still at half price (like i did) Score said they are expecting a big crowd but not a full house. 35,00 maybe?

on espn radio 1000 after the game they said they had 14,000 people between 9 am and gametime buy tickets. I don't care how big it is tonight, i just want a respectable crowd, i don't think i need to go into more than i already have. Last night was the worst loss for me since the infamous keith foulke 2 inning save opp against new york in yankee stadiunm (oh wait, that was here, it just seemed like yankee stadium).

the guy is definitely getting the most out of the talent he has (and minus sweeney right now) Sox have much more talent than KC, IMO, but they aren't playing as a team and doing the little things and everything else. The royals have played good baseball this year (in the games i've seen). They do a good job of manufacturing runs and stuff like that.

Olivo's best bet was to let it go foul (looked like it had that spin on it to go foul easy)

Umpire from last eve
I couldn't judge very well from the upper deck, but i heard on the radio a few people say he had a bad game yesterday at the plate And his decision to eject Ginter was foolish

If youre wondering
He's just trying too hard to be liked and stuff, he doesn't need to Just post what you think, make it intelligent, and not just so and so sucks and this guy sucks, etc, and you'll get along with people fine on here i think.

We lost
Cerb, If you are planning on buying tickets at the window with a pepsi can (like i am), plan on a good wait in line if you get there after 6...i waited 15 minutes in line to get my will call tickets. And, traffic is a mess. Plus good tickets go fast when you are waiting in line for that long. Of course if you have tickets already in hand, disregard what i said

It seemed like each other, but who knows. Probly something said about someone's girl or something stupid and fists flew. I definitely don't think it was sox/kc related....just idiots.

I thought somethign was going on with Alomar stealing signs at 2nd. This is just a guess of course, but here's what i saw Usually the pitching coach comes out to visit. This time it was Pena. I think he saw that Alomar was successfully stealing signs and relaying them to Thomas. Pena came out of the dugout and pointed towards second and then called Berroa in, which made me think it had something to do with the signs or something. Otherwise, ya, i would say he told him to pitch inside more. There's no way a manager comes out and tells a pitcher to hit a guy on the next pitch, that's way too obvious. He's just signal it from the dugout anyway. If the umpire caught onto what was going on (if he told him to hit him), hernandez and pena would have been gone in a heartbeat
