It'd be an even higher average if Jose didn't have any starts against lefthanders

I think the first game is the most important game of the series. I view the 3rd game as our best chance to win with tomorrow's game a real tossup, though Garland could certainly outpitch Hernandez. May has been real good as of late and it'd be great to knock off their ace (i'll give it to him over Lima) on the road with arguably our 3rd best pitcher this year

Like Spiff, i'll make all my posts under the only name i registered for, this one I feel no need to have another name to go rip on people or what not, that's not what this board is for I was told about this board by Heather, and i think word of mouth is spreading news of this board faster than we imagine. I'll tell my friends i heard some news and that i got it on "the boards" and then they ask for details and stuff, and then hopefully they sign up.

According to Boers and Bernstein (670 am the Score), if you have a song stuck in your head, you start thinking about Turner's "tiny dancer"...that's supposed to get rid of the old song and then that song leaves by itself My method? Start humming some college fight songs. Works every time

I wasn't on last night, so this thread is just a shocking. Only question now is does the dips*** passionless sox thread come back and beat it at some point? Let's hope not.

OH......MY..... Get that piece of crap off of your avatar and get a real qb up there, JON BEUTJER. I originated the beutjer bangwagon last year before the season even started because i know ward can't throw a 7 yard out route to save his life. Your avatar is making me sick....seriously

Is that the incumbent Dustin Ward in your avatar?

I believe the correct saying is "Pinch poke what a joke oh me a Coke jinx" That is all

Does anyone know if it's 6-2 twins?

That thing has got to look like a Ring Pop How can she wear it now with people knowing it's worth 4 million? "hey man, that's 4 mil on her finger" way easier than robbing a bank

also raises hand. i haven't had the soup, chili, or bbq

Well Smith is being one stupid asshole dealing with Zito. All he wanted was the model contract, and he wouldn't even give him that If i was Ruutu i'd tell the Hawks to shove it and go back to Europe Although Ruutu's last demand, 2.5 mil if he's top 9 for ice time in forwards in the last year of his contract, is bogus. He'd probly be in the top 3 pretty easily by the 3rd year. However if tsn got that figure out of Smiths' mouth, i wouldn't believe it for a second

Didn't they also throw bodies into acid pools and stuff like that

Jones homered, 1-1

I'd love to see what Williams could do if he had a decent size payroll. I really think the Sox could have a fantastic team. Oh ya, Yanks payroll is 180 million. For cripes sake that is freaking ridiculous. They are like two small market teams more then the New York Mets (2nd Highest). This is absolutely ridiculous. Its unfair for fans of every other team. Somehow they need to get a cap when the next bargaining agreement comes up. There's almost no way they'll ever be a hard cap IMO The luxury tax just has to be ridiculously large for every dollar over a certain amount I'd just want a Soft Cap, ala the NBA. And a Dollar for Dollar Luxury Tax. Their should also be a minimum cap at around 45 mill. And its based on an avg salary, so teams could unload and go young for a few years, but they'd eventually have to get it back up. Good point, because you have to force teams to actually spend some money instead of just collecting from everyone else.

Unfortunately I think you are right. Those numbers aren't even close. i could take a survey of people on this board that could name the sox starting rotation. I bet you'd have about 95% of em. i could then report that "95% of people can name the white sox starting rotation" riiiiight. you can get whatever stat you want by controlling you sample
