  1. I heard a cop spotted Sidney Ponson in a dark alley and said "break it up guys"
  2. In "Bush at War" Woodward claims Bush can bench 240 or something like that...so I give the nod to Bush.
  3. And you're good with photoshop...I can see its all coming together... wait, you're for Bush...nevermind
  4. Kip Wells in 2000 against cleveland
  5. More talent than half the people on this planet combined.
  6. I don't believe in making people speak in the 'kings' english all the time. Look at how people in the sixties spoke compared to the way their parents spoke. The difference is pretty significant. Did that stop people in the sixties from becoming doctors and lawyers. People I know who speak rapper slang don't carry that over into important conversations. It is more of a thing they do around other kids.
  7. If they move or cease to exist, he will have a reminder of the franchise he once loved. He will be able to show people "the old White Sox logo". Getting a tatoo of a band is a different story. A family friend got some local Georgia hard rock band's emblem tatooed on his leg, the band disbanded before gaining any national acclaim, and now he hates the tatoo because it confuses people.
  8. The topic of racism has been swept under the rug in our society. Many people freak out when called racists but at the same time they practice institutional racism and carry personal hatred toward black culture. My boss says he is not a racist but he will lecture that rap music should be banned, baggy pants should not be allowed, and inner city kids should be forced to go to disciplinary schools. He complains that black people should do a better job of speaking the 'kings' english. The word culture is completely lost on him. When I try to say that 50 Cent is just as important to culture as Louis Armstrong, the idea is dismissed because 50 Cent is a bad role model for black kids who should be trying to 'assimilate'. Chances are this same man would also be a lot less tolerant of a black employee than a white employee...even though he claims to carry no prejudice. I would bet that the number of people that act the same way is staggering, it is a real shame. The only way to eliminate this type of racism is to continue affirmative action so that black people begin to reach the peaks of society as often as white people. We must also showcase diversity on TV, so people become more and more familiar with black people and white people being equal. Racism is still alive in this country, and I pray for the day racism dies and individual cultures are respected.

    Moore on the Factor

Yes, but he attended the Flint branch of UMich...however he dropped out because he couldn't find parking.
  11. The Twins said, "Surrender all of the division and sell off your players" The great General Guillen replied, "Nuts!"
  12. Nothing beats a college campus on football weekends. Now imagine if you hadn't let all that tension out...you might have punted an innocent puppy while screaming, "Jose es caca!"

Somebody is looking foreward to college... What dorm are you going to be in? My brother lived in McNut his freshman year.
  14. Here is my positive message: This is life...Get the f*** used to it. If you think everything is easy as 1-2-3 than you are going to be disappointed in everything you do. The White Sox are going, to lose games--many games. When they win be happy, when they lose enjoy the fact that there is a sport that you can always turn to for entertainment. When Jose Valentin drops a foul ball, beat the living s*** out of your tv...because it f***ing deserves it. So in 39 days you will be counting down to IU basketball

  16. If the President takes medication to stay on top of his life than I am very proud of him. I would only be concerned if this article said that he had Depression and behavioral problems that he was not addressing.
  17. This isn't just a case of an athletic guy going out for a sport they are not familiar with. Lesnar was an all-state high school football player, and his athletic skills are catered for football. The guy runs a 4.7 and has a 35 inch vertical, add that to his ability to out muscle and manuever people (he was a former NCAA wrestling champ...the real wrestling, not the fake s***). I don't think he will ever be a star, but this isn't going to be like the time Manute Bol tried to play hockey.
  18. I think I would rather see the Iraqi's take this guy down in court...but the world may be a safer place if Saddam dies without a highly publicized trial.
  19. Saddams Stroke SADDAM'S 'STROKE' Jul 28 2004 Ex-dictator's lawyer says he had brain scan and could die Exclusive By Gary Jones In Amman, Jordan SADDAM Hussein has suffered a minor stroke and could die before his trial, his defence lawyers claim. The multinational legal team is still awaiting permission to visit the deposed Iraqi ruler. A letter demanding their doctor be given access to the former dictator was yesterday sent by Jordanian lawyer Mohammed al-Rashdan to Salem Chalebi, the head of the Iraqi prosecuting authorities. Mr al-Rashdan said: "Our information is that he's in very poor health. We understand from the International Committee of the Red Cross that our client has had a brain scan to discover how badly he has been affected by the stroke. We believe he could die because of his health problems. "We also think an attempt may be made on his life. "We're very worried that we won't have a client to defend." He added: "Under the Geneva Convention we're entitled to have access to our client. But all our requests have been ignored." In a form letter delivered by the Red Cross in January to his wife Sajida, living in Qatar, Saddam put a cross in boxes for "good health" and "slightly wounded". "His finger appears to have been wounded, possibly by gunshot, when he was captured," said Mr Rashdan. "But we believe his health has deteriorated. "We believe any trial could be months, if not years away - I think Bush and Blair would be happier if he died from ill health."
