State is the better team at QB, but Michigan is the more talented team overall. Though they have not played to their potential, Michigan is considered to be one of the most talented teams in the country. The Wolverines are superior on the lines, and have a very athletic secondary. The problems occur when they use the zone defense that they used against Iowa, then teams find holes and quickly march down the field against the wolverines w/o even having to run the ball. Of course when Michigan plays tighter zones, and man to man they can dominate, as they did against purdue. Michigan also has the best recieving corps. in the big ten. The question is, can Navarre get them the ball in hostile environment?

I would take Jaren Hayes over Perry. Perry plays VERY well on turf, but overall he doesn't have the speed that great RB's have.

Is it true that it is harmful to travel on airplanes when there are solar flares? I have always been curious about how the suns flares/rays affect astronauts. I know people are only supposed to travel across the earths poles once a year, otherwise they recieve too many harmful rays from the sun, roughly equivilant to getting an x-ray without wearing the lead blanket. But what about the astronauts in the space station who get no protection for months except for a few inches of plastic?

Sunday I did not think the tread should have been locked, and I didn't think that the other thread should have been deleted, and I started a thread to voice my complaints. You could say I have often been on your side. Now I feel you have stepped out of line. There was no reason to criticize Beastly in this thread. Whether HSC left because of Beastly or not does not matter right now. What matters is that Beastly is trying damn hard to fix his act, and has also never personally attacked anybody. You can say he has had some immature posts, but you have a thread dedicated to pictures of hot women (a thread I love contributing too ) so you can't get on beastly for making sexual references now and then. Glad your back, but don't get on Beastly's ass for nothing. Essentially, what you are doing is the same as what the Cubs fans are doing to Bartman. Perhaps if Beastly had done some things differently HSC would still be around, but the problems leading up to HSC's departure stemmed from things much deeper than a teenager. Just as the reasons for the cubs failures in the NLCS go much deeper than steve bartman. I hope this thread got its point across to somebody.

All the talk so far has Soriano headed to KC for Beltran. So Magglio for Soriano would be even to me. I would vomit if the sox made that deal. It would be a whole lot easier to just sign Jose Cruz Jr., because in the end he will put up the same numbers as Soriano. Soriano has totally lost the 'magic' of his 2002 season. Granted he still has a lot of raw talent and raw ability, he just is not as good as people suggest he is.

Johnson is better and worth a hell of a lot more than Soriano. Soriano is the goat of the tri-state area right now. He played poorly down the stretch and struggled in the playoffs. Not to mention he swings for the fences every at bat. He is athletic and has a s*** load of talent. But he just isn't the kind of player the Sox should be looking for. Soriano is better off with a team like the Yankees.

I would LOVE to see the sox get Johnson. I have seen this guy a lot this year, and he is a gamer. He wore down in september and october but he had a great spring/summer. He is a natural hitter and will consistently hit .330-25-100 when he settles in, and his obp will probably hover around .400%. He is a great lefty hitter, and getting him would be awesome.

They might take a look but you could forget getting Soriano. I'm not sure you could get Soriano for Konerko if Konerko made only 2 or 3 mil. Yeah, you are probably right. Soriano looks like a stud up to this point.

I was too young to appreciate anything in the 80's except for Playmobile and Pound Puppies (don't worry, I only had 1) but lately I have learned to love 80's Rock. I like Guns N' Roses Poison Bon Jovi White Snake Warrant (were they early 90's?) a couple Twisted Sister songs and of course who doesn't like Eddie Money? "take me home tonight" I profoundly hate most 80's progressive/pop music though.
