My brother went to see her, and talked to her and got her autograph, he said it was like a dream . He told me that she is an excellent speaker and can fend off any liberal hardliner. So I think I have an excellent idea for a national debate. Micheal Moore (I think that is the guys name) vs. Ann Coulter. I sure as hell would watch it.

Any guesses about what the future looks like after valentin? The orginization looks pretty weak at shortstop, I think it would be wise to acquire somebody like Felipe Lopez, who isn't very good, but still has potential, and could hold the position down another year to give time for somebody to develop.

I think Michigan is going to have a great year, they were a really good young team last year, and now that they are a year older and are actually eligible for the tournament they should win 20. I think DePaul may have a nice year too. The freshman are looking pretty good and Andre Brown is a solid big man. Holland and Greer really need to step up on offense though if DePaul wants to make the tournament.

I'll be curious to see how he does next year without Rutherford under center.

Fitzgerald and Williams may end up better than Manning, but Manning will be the best of those QB's.
-
White, Fitzgerald, Perry, Manning all are invited to the ceromony, and I think White will win by a country mile.

lol, I spent two years of my life, messing around on that site. It really is intriguing and addictive.

CW, aside from the horrible traffic situation, how did you enjoy the game? It was the best sporting event I have ever attended, and even though my row was oversold, (We practically had to stand sideways ), it was an experience I will always cherish. I thought it was pretty funny when the fans on the field began taunting the buckeye fan section . Were there any buckeyes near you? There was one in my area, but he was not very vocal, so I didn't mind him.

Jason, I think it is bad luck when you use a minor leaguer in your avatar

Wow, I envisioned Hentgen finishing out his career back in his native state of Michigan with the tigers. Maybe he can regain his cy-young form with his old team.

I am in Section 37 row 13, and usually me and my dad go in as soon as the gates open. If we see eachother cool, if not, there is always next year.

True, and not true. I will confess that I don't know a whole lot about the yale vs. harvard game except that it gets a nice draw but still doesn't fill the yale bowl. the army vs. navy game is much more intense. While visiting West Point, I saw tons of 'beat navy' stuff, in fact almost every football fan there was expressing a hatred toward navy. But let me put the rivalries in there place. I live in NJ, about 15-20 miles outside of NYC. On the New York sports shows, and the new york papers, I have heard nothing about the army vs. navy game or the harvard vs. yale game. Both of those rivalries have ties to the tri-state area (army, and yale). Michigan and Ohio st. on the other hand is getting a relatively large amount of publicity, and that is a mid-west rivalry. It shows how national importance is what makes a rivalry a rivalry.

Too bad the guy is an ohio st. fan

ironically, a poll in england ranked Queen as the best band to ever come out of england I guess we americans appreciate the beatles, and the Rolling stones more than their native country. Though I am not a huge beatles fan, I have heard most of their songs and the best is by far Abbey Road.

When I hear a deal like this, I just wonder what Beane has up his sleeve.

It depends on how you define a rivalry. An ESPN poll declared UM-OSU the greatest ever, but I don't think that is what makes it the best rivalry. I think classic battle lines, great moments, and of course importance make up a great rivalry. UM-OSU, has Bo vs. Woody as one classic battle line, Howard's pose on the punt return, as one of the many great moments, and every year the game means something in the big ten standings and often the national standings. Though Harvard-Yale, and Army-Navy, used to mean something, and still is a fun rivalry, it is not on the superscale of rivalries anymore. In the harvard-yale case, it is just a fun annual tradition, and in the army-navy case, you have to be a part of it to consider it the best around, otherwise it is only just another fun annual tradition.

Funny I just told my friend a few days ago that the sox should try to acquire Baez, now that he is free to walk, I think it would be an excellent pick up.

I soxnet going to be back up in the future, or has it met it's end.

I think that if our lineup mirrors the 93 or 94 lineups we won't win as many games as those teams. Pitching was the best quality of those teams, so having they didn't need to beat the crap out of the ball to win. This team doesn't have the dominating pitching, so it can't make up for an offense that score a ton of runs. 2004 likely (unless we make a few trades) can't match: McDowell (22-10, Cy Young) Fernandez (18-9) Alvarez (15-8) Bere (12-5) Those 4 had enourmous seasons in 93

Thats the '93 Lineup 94 Lineup was something like... Rock Cora Thomas Ventura Franco DJ Lance Karko Ozzie

Well, I think Michigan is going to win this game, but I am not too confident. The following points worry me : Chris Perry against a good rushing defense. Perry has had a great year, but he doesn't dominate against the better defenses. I would be satisfied with 90 yards. John Navarre against a good secondary. Ohio St. covered well against Purdue and forced Orton to throw the ball away. Navarre has a bad habit of forcing his passes when nobody is open, resulting in interceptions. Michigan has atrocious special teams. Opponents are running kicks back to midfield, our punting team has gotten numerous punts blocks, and finley has botched several. Rivas has potential but is not reliable, he missed another against northwestern. Reasons I think Michigan will win : John Navarre, is a fifth year senior, the fans have been on his back since he lost to UCLA in 2000, he has lost his 2 prior starts to Ohio St., he embarrassed Michigan the last time Michigan and Ohio St. played in Ann Arbor, and his fumble cost michigan the game last year in Columbus. To say the least, he has a boatload of incentive. The O-Line is good enough to keep Will Smith at bay. If Navarre has time Michigan has a great chance, but if the O-Line crumbles and OSU gets pressure on Navarre...watch out. I believe that the line will be able to handle OSU. The recieving corps. is one of the best in the country. Edwards, Avant, Breaston might just be good enough to overcome this OSU secondary. If Navarre spreads the wealth and gets the ball to Massaquoi(as i have pleaded all year), then Michigan should win this game. The defense has been superb since the Minnesotta game. Shazor, and Jackson have been enourmous (when Jackson is healthy). Leseur has also had a nice year at corner, and will have to cover Jenkins. On the line, I think Woodley will have a standout performance, he has been under the shadows as a true freshman, but he is lightning fast and I think he will have Krenzel on the run. I am 0-1 at Michigan vs. Ohio St. games, I hope to even the score Saturday
