I would love to get to Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. There are a lot of places in Europe I'd like to get to as well- Scotland, Bath (England), Salzburg and Vienna (Austria), Germany.... I've been fortunate enough to have traveled to a lot of western Europe and a lot of the US.

What, pray tell, is the significance of 4/20? -
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 08:33 AM) Leave Erstad alone. He's trying to get into a groove. Hey, I hope so. But if he doesn't start hitting his weight soon, it's time to give BA a real shot.

Very excited to see the pitching look so good. Also very excited to see the hitting start to show up. I'm hoping that Paulie comes around soon. He's struggling, but hopefully he can use the success he had after his 2003 struggles to get through it.

QUOTE(DrunkBomber @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 02:58 PM) My company does a lot of property flipping and we use them to hold all of our staging furniture while were in construction. Ive never had a problem with them. Theyre very prompt and weve never had a problem with anything missing or being damaged. If the price is good for you i would recommend using them. Was that Pods Storage or was that Door to Door? QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 03:22 PM) Being a big fan of puns I've had a lot of fun using the name of this service while attending ball games. "So what do you guys think of Pods?" while sipping on a cold one. "No, I meant the service where you can store items in front of your home" I'd generally get a groan but I laugh inside. I think you and I would get along!

What a fun game to watch last night! This is why I love baseball! Way to go, Mark! -
QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 04:36 PM) There are hunters out there that don't hunt for sport. They hunt to feed their family. How common is this?

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 18, 2007 -> 12:37 PM) So, you trust the government with enough atomic weapons to end civilization, (snip) Please. It's "Nu-kyoo-lur."

Has anyone here used one of those temporary portable storage services like Pods Storage or Door to Door? How was your experience with them? We're looking for a place to store some of our stuff when we put our place on the market, and it seems like a good idea to just have the company drop off a storage container at our place, we fill it, they pick it up and store it, and then they deliver it to our new place when we're ready for it. I'm looking to see if anyone has anything good or bad to say about them....

The Sox have gotta do SOMETHING. This lack of offense is just ridiculous! QUOTE(BearSox @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 10:28 PM) Hopefully... Nice new avy by the way. Kinda sad to see the ASU girls leave, but this one's just fine! New avy >>>>>> Old avy.

QUOTE(mr_genius @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 10:24 PM) who is PFB? "Pink Fuzzy Bunny." Refers to Chris Rongey, Sox postgame radio show host and (all too often) apologist.

The Phelps' group is a cancer in our society. The world would be a better place without them.

QUOTE(joeynach @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 01:06 PM) Why do we seem to have such a problem with our guys losing velocity, especially our hard throwers. Garcia velocity down, Jenks velocity down whos next. Why do the mid 90's guys like Papelbon, Wagner, Verlander not have a problem with losing their velocity from one year to the next, but we do. I dont get it. This is something I've noticed, too. I wish I knew the answer.

And in other news, the sun continues to rise in the east and set in the west.... Every day I am grateful that my father spared me the misfortune and heartache of being a Cubs fan. Thanks, Dad!

QUOTE(Balance @ Apr 7, 2007 -> 10:51 AM) Are there more new episodes this season? My TiVo answered my question for me. There are new episodes coming up tonight and (IIRC) next week.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 02:28 PM) Rush is still in the Limelight, still in the Camera Eye, still with Vital Signs, and going strong, but sadly not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. Some Witch Hunt I guess. No need for Tears, perhaps they will be inducted by 2112. Well, they have A Ghost of a Chance, but nothing is certain, you just have to Roll the Bones. Still, that proclamation has a certain Bravado.... (You can tell which of their albums I actually own....)

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Apr 12, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) Won't let this go unnoticed. Any big hawks fan loves this answer. I'm sure both of them do....

I-Rod and Kenny Rogers. Any time the Twins get those cheap-ass little squib hits by any given "piranha," I dislike said "piranha." The A's fans with the trumpets and drums. EDIT: Oh, and CC "straighten out that damn hat" Sabathia.
