I dont know how anyone who has NHL hasnt gotten into the EASHL. Its the coolest, most in depth thing in any sports game I have seen. You create a team, play with anywhere from 2-6 vs 2-6 and it keeps stats and records for anything. It also gives every team their own page on easportsworld.com. http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/clubs/7.../66999/overview That is my teams page Her 5 Hole. They have monthly seasons, my team had back to back top 10 finishes and earned a spot in the 12 team yearly playoffs and couldnt participate because of the name. Winners get a trip to New York for the NHL 11 launch event. http://www.operationsports.com/eashl/forum/index.php Thats a link to the EASHL forum if anyone is interested in checking it out. People who play NHL might not even know how the gameplay works so I suggest checking out online team play in game modes to try some pick up games and see if you like it.

After my team was overlooked for EA's 12 team playoff because of a derogatory name I am looking forward to seeing NHL 11.

I read the reviews. I wasnt expecting it to blow me away, I just wanted to see the physics engine because they are using something similar in for NHL 11 which is a game I am really looking forward to. There are some very cool things about the game but as you said it seems incomplete.

DrunkBomber replied to DrunkBomber's topic in PTC/Contest/Fantasy Board
Any help with some lesser known closers or stolen base guys I would be able to trade for? I think I have enough depth at SP where I could trade one or two, not sure how much value my hitters after my top 5-6 have. -

I got it right when it came out for Sprint and got rid of it for a $200 loss within a few weeks. It was just cheaply made, the battery kept coming loose inside and would turn the phone off also. I did like the os though however when I had it the app store was still beta and didnt have anything.

Anyone who watches FNL that doesnt have Direct TV know of another place to watch online besides surfthechannel? They take too long to post the newest episodes.

I think a really good one would be John Travoltas character in Swordfish. I also think Claire Daines character in Brokedown Palace could fit the category.

Not sure how many people play NHL 10 for PS3 on here but if you do and you you play online team play what team are you on and how do you like it? For anyone who doesnt know what it is you basically create one character and use them at a certain position and you can play pick up games or join teams and leagues. The more you play unlocks higher attribute points and allows you to be rated higher. They start a new season each month and even have playoffs at the end of the year played live somewhere in Canada. Anyways, if you play it or want to check it out here is my team Glitch3s G3t Stitch3s I should have anywhere between 15-20 guys depending on when you look at this and as of now we are 17-7 in the February season so if anyone is looking for a team let me know.

I had tickets to game 4 of the '05 World Series in Houston and missed it because I had to see about a girl.

All I wanted. Confirmation that my Putz jersey will be arriving soon.

Chris Henry and now Brittany Murphy. All celebs better be careful if this rule of three holds true.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 06:59 PM) I'd like to add one more thing to this thread, and once again, I apologize in advance to anyone I may offend. Drugs are not the issue here. You can say Chris Henry was a terrible person because he drank too much, he did too much weed, maybe he snorted a little coke or smoked a little crack, we don't really know. But I know plenty of white guys that smoke weed all the time - we all do actually - and it is looked at in a completely different manner. I can guarantee you Charlie Sheen parties a hell of a lot harder than Chris Henry ever dreamed of partying, and yet, Charlie is a "fun" successful actor and Henry is labeled a "terrible" person. The key here, at least in my opinion, is the difference between growing up amongst poverty and violence (often times brought on by that poverty), and combining it with the drugs and alcohol. There is a complete double standard when it comes to the way people who use drugs and alcohol in this country are viewed, and it has nothing to do with the drugs or alcohol themselves. It's the socioeconomic conditions that interact with that drug and alcohol use that often determine how people view the people participating. There are countless examples of entertainers (actors, musicians, athletes, etc) that abuse drugs and alcohol, and as long as you do so in the right socioeconomic conditions (read wealthy), it's laughed at or celebrated even. Yet if you do so amongst the wrong socioeconomic conditions (read poor), you're troubled or terrible. Chris Henry was not a terrible person because he smoked weed and drank. He was a troubled or possibly even terrible person because he grew up amongst poverty and violence, and never learned how to rise above it. I don't think we should confuse the two. Nobody is saying Chris Henry was a POS because he used drugs or alcohol. Also, Charlie Sheen has a reputation of being a scumbag pretty much across the board. Chris Henry is a POS because of his weapons charges, assaults, "alleged sexual assault" and numerous suspensions from the NFL and jail stints. Im not aware of Henrys childhood plagued by poverty so can you fill us in on where youre getting that from? The way he died says all that needs to be said. He was on IR from his career that pays him millions of dollars, riding on the back of a moving truck trying to smash in a window to get his his girl friend and mother of children and flew out.

I wish this guy didnt have kids. I dont go around making jokes about stuff like this but a lot of the stuff I hear during the day does draw reactions from me. I had some guy today telling me it made him realize how short life can be and to live it to the fullest. Chris Henry was a genuine piece of s*** as a human being. Whether its sexual assault, weapons, drugs or trying to break into the back of a moving truck because he is going after his girlfriend the guy has proven time and time again what kind of person he is. That being said, Im not happy he died, I didnt wish anything bad on him and I think its terrible it happened its better him than his girlfriend, a pedestrian getting ran over or anyone else who has contributed anything to humanity. So now when people bring it up I just say, couldnt happen to a nicer guy...

I obviously have to get this guys jersey to wear around. That would have been up there with Boozer if the Bulls pulled off the trade to get him.

Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated during any step, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of the two-club format). 1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games among the clubs). http://www.secsports.com/news/default.aspx?ArticleId=141 B. THREE (OR MORE) TEAM TIE 1. (Once the tie has been reduced to two teams, go to the two-team tie-breaker format.) 2. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams.

If you're an NFL GM, what round would you pick Lebron?
DrunkBomber replied to ozzfest's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
Im very skeptical of a 4.4 forty time. Also, WR or even tight end is one thing but you need a lot more than size to be a good OLB or DE. I could just see him crying to the refs if he couldnt make a play and wanting a flag thrown like he does in the NBA. -
ppc clark non ppc stewart
