  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 10, 2016 -> 03:01 PM) Remember when the Democrats were against labeling entire groups of people? Mitt Romney does
  2. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 10, 2016 -> 01:58 PM) Saying that to those who cheered on calls that Mexicans are rapists and Muslims are evil and now those people aren't big fans of name calling? That's rich. She said half of his supporters. To imply that many Americans are irredeemable is a pretty toxic statement from someone running for President. Apparently she agrees because she is already trying to walk it back. No doubt this is gonna hurt her in the polls, she didnt need this.
  3. Hillary pulled a Trump and shot herself in the foot at a pretty inopportune time. Calling millions of Americans baskets of deplorables, saying theyre irredeemable and racist, homophobic, xenophobic etc.
  4. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Sep 9, 2016 -> 02:04 PM) It should be a concern even if you don't have kids though. It's a national health risk when people are inconsiderate enough to not vaccinate their kids. Thats fine, Im just not in the business of telling other people how to raise their kids. Personally I think every parent should do it but without a horse in the race its not really an issue I care to debate.
  5. What is a better way to protest? Do people really want roads being blocked and businesses being burned down? If he just said he's against police brutality it wouldnt have reached anyone.
  6. Your reaction is why its brilliant. He is getting a response without hurting anyone or destroying anything.
  7. Cam really impresses me more and more every day. He easily could have complained about the hits or blame the refs or Broncos players and he takes the high road.
  8. The more I think about it this really is a brilliant way to protest. There's some merit to what some people joked about in here where when people burn cities down we chastise them and are so appalled that they cant protest peacefully and then when they kneel during the anthem we still bite their heads off. Its also something that pisses a lot of people off so it will keep their message in the news and is gaining some steam as athletes in other sports and on other teams are doing it now too. I still dont know what else it can do besides raise awareness but its a peaceful message on an important topic. Id also imagine it doesnt offend people in the military because they are fighting for his freedom to protest.
  9. The thing that makes me scratch my head about the Clintons is honestly the fact that Bill Clinton was accused of rape and numerous other versions of sexual assault and so many democrats are simply ok with it. A few of the accusers even said Hillary attacked them and discredited them as she champions herself as a hero to women. If it were just one random accusation that would be one thing but clearly Bill Clinton had a problem assaulting women. Hell his sexual escapades have their own wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Clinton_...uct_allegations
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 02:48 PM) You know what, I'm an idiot. I forgot to realize those vendors that have marketed and made the credit card scanners etc that plug into that port. They enable small businesses to do things like take credit cards on the fly. That's f***ed up and I'm pissed I didn't think of it. Ya I have a small business and at times we have to use square for credit card processing. I didnt think of that either until you mentioned it.
  11. QUOTE (raBBit @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 01:39 PM) LOL, never even heard this. What is going on in this country? http://www.cbsnews.com/news/warrant-out-fo...n-north-dakota/ Shes not really in the slammer but there is a warrant out from a couple days ago lol.
  12. Ya one thing Im certainly for is the US not meddling in everything in the middle east. Im not informed enough about all the conflicts were currently involved in but I imagine pulling out too quickly could destabilize some territory over there so I dont know what the best solution moving forward would be. But overall Id prefer if we didnt feel the need to intervene in other countries s***.
  13. Meanwhile Jill Stein is in the slammer for vandalizing construction equipment with spray paint lol. I wish I could go 30 years in the future and see what the history books say about this election.
  14. http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/electi...inton-or-trump/ Not to mention, Ive seen a lot of pollsters saying Johnson is pulling more votes away from Hillary anyway.
  15. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 01:15 PM) They're not mandatory in a general sense; no one is making you get any. They're a prerequisite for entry to public schools. If you don't want to vaccinate your kids, that's cool*, you can homeschool them or find a private school that likes disease. *terrible He said he wanted to make it mandatory and I pretty much said its not that big of a deal to me so its funny thats what you choose to harp on
  16. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) I wasn't attacking you; I just think that video is horribly cringe-worthy. Gary Johnson doesn't promote a 100% ideologically pure version of Paul Johnson Watson's libertarianism? WHAT AN IDIOT I mentioned Trump because Paul Joseph Watson and his website are pro-Trump. How someone could knock Gary Johnson for lack of libertarian ideological purity while supporting Trump is mind-boggling. You just kind of seem overly concerned with my personal opinion on Johnson. I didnt say anyone else cant like him.
  17. He supports the tpp, mandatory vaccinations. Not something that Im very passionate about because I dont have children but in general I dont like the government forcing people to do stuff. Same with thinking it should be ok for the government to force bakeries to make a nazi wedding cake even if they dont want to(Which Johnson also supports). I dont completely disagree with some of his measures to fight climate change (thats something I wish all politicians would take more seriously) but carbon taxes certainly dont align with libertarian views. Hes for bringing 10s of thousands more refugees. Id rather use the resources they use to get refugees on their feet in this country on homeless veterans we have here and set up safe zones for them in their countries. In the video it says he inherited a debt as Governor of 1.8 billion and he ran it up to 4.6 billion. Then, not really policy per se but theres a clip of him saying that its offensive and racist to use the term illegal immigrant and he kind of snaps at the guy interviewing him and it makes him look pretty bad.
  18. Ya I probably shouldnt generalize these as iron clad libertarian views. A better way for me to say it is that I personally dont agree with him on most of it.
  19. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 12:35 PM) You're welcome. Got any more sweet vids from PrisonPlant/Infowars explaining why Donald Trump is THE choice for small government libertarian freedom lovers? There are clips of Johnson talking about issues and he doesnt align with libertarians. I dont care how s***ty the video looks, it shows actual examples of Johnson speaking on topics. It was made by a libertarian who dislikes Johnson because of those views. It explains Johnsons positions on the TPP, immigration, refugees, spending and I disagree with him on all of them. Also, wtf does this have to do with Trump? I said numerous times on here I dont support Trump and have openly criticized him? Were getting a little ridiculous on this site with attacking people simply because you dont agree with their politics.
  20. QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 12:26 PM) I don't know how you got more than 60 seconds into that video. Thanks for the contribution.
  21. After seeing this video of Johnson there is no way Id support him anymore. He really doesnt come close to being a libertarian and clearly is in way over his head.
  22. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Sep 8, 2016 -> 10:21 AM) That Commander in Chief forum just epitomized what an awful, awful election this is. Career politician robot who has sold her soul v. complete moron. One thing that depresses me is that for as dumb as Trump is, there are a few general viewpoints or at least perspectives he has that a competent politician really could have run with to change politics in 2016. Trump was asked last night about his knowledge of ISIS and his ability to be the President (e.g., will he be ready from day one). Of course he went the narcissistic route and touted that he knows more than anyone, but he could have used that as time to speak to the people of this country honestly about the weird expectation voters have that the President is or should be an expert on every issue. He could have answered honestly that he isn't an expert on healthcare, on terrorism, on the economy, etc., but that no President is and anyone claiming to be is a liar. He's going to assemble the experts to advise him on the state of X. The President is an executive. The role is a manager. You delegate tasks, you have experts advise you on the best positions, and then you make the best decision possible. That would have been such a good answer but of course he's a f***ing moron so that's not where he went with it. Ya neither one of them were really answering the questions well. Pretty much everything Trump said about the military and the generals was pretty ridiculous. It seemed like he was trying to say Obama isnt letting them do the job but thats not how it came out. He also needs to clarify his interview with Stern about saying "Ya I guess so" about invading Iraq if he is gonna keep claiming he was gonna be against it from day one. Hillary quadrupled down on her lie about sending classified info and pretty much refusing to acknowledge anything that was said in the FBI notes. Hillary also goes first and Lauer tells her not to bring up Trump and she did it numerous times, in fairness so did Trump but only after she mentioned him. My main take away from Hillary is she doesnt feel like she should have to address tough questions. She has been running and hiding from scandal after scandal since before the primaries hoping they will go away instead of just addressing them.
  23. Welp, Gary Johnson just Aleppo'd his political career lol. Back to the drawing board.
