QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 07:28 PM) Is Hulu lagging for anyone else? Not for me.
-
Go to the web site of the company that makes your wireless router and chat with them live and ask them for the number. I had to do that before. All they need is the model number and serial number. Or you can use an ethernet plug.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 12:22 PM) Im getting sound no video with hulu on my PS3, help? Did you try a few different videos to make sure it isnt just the one? Or maybe try AOL video or something just to see if you can get anything working?

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 01:24 PM) I can't seem to get my PS3 to connect to my network.... Have you ever gotten your PS3 online?

Anyone else have any other cool things they do with PS3?
-
Something cool I just started doing with my PS3 that I thought I would share. I dont remember seeing it on here before. I know most of you are familiar with the site www.surfthechannel.com, well if you go to your PS3 browser and go to that site you basically have any tv show and tons of movies On Demand for free without using an S cable. It works on sites like Hulu and google video as well. You have to get used to which host sites through STC are higher quality. Hulu, AOL and Google are best. Megavideo is pretty good most of the time but they try to limit how much you can watch for free without paying a monthly fee. You get 72 minutes and after that you have to wait 50 minutes to get another 72 minutes, or you can pay for an unlimited plan pretty cheap. The rest seem to be asian web sites, so if you can handle the sub titles theyll do the trick as well. If anyone needs any help with this let me know.

Mr Angelo, please trade for Jay Cutler!

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 11:15 PM) lol. Easy to pull that card after you know who's been drafted. And in WhiteSoxBrian's hypothetical proposal we more than likely give up a first or second in 2010. That's my whole beef. That is why trades like this rarely ever happen. It's almost impossible for both sides to come away satisfied. If we were better at drafting I would mind but look at how many misses our front office has had in the draft the past few years. -

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 1, 2009 -> 10:20 PM) I wouldn't do this for Peyton Manning. Think about it this way. Orton, Chris Williams and Earl Bennett. You wouldnt trade that for Cutler? Or Peyton Manning? -
Something tells me this isnt an Aprils fools joke.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 30, 2009 -> 03:04 PM) Yeah, I got the two DVD option. Just wondering. They normally receive it and ship out a new one the day after you send it. Pretty much, if you leave it in your mailbox on a Monday, you should have a new one by Wednesday.
-
I normally dont have a problem with this kind of stuff, like when the Yankees do it. But I can see why Ramirez might get mad. I would be a little agitated being told by my team how I could wear my hair when they are constantly dumping payroll and seem like theyre not even trying to compete most years. Yes, I know theyve won two World Series but you know what I mean. At least the Yankees are always trying to field a winner, but as far as the Marlins go, if ownership doesnt care, why should the players.

I just got the game today. If you are low on numbers I can probably do it, otherwise Ill probably pass this time because of time constraints.

QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Mar 26, 2009 -> 11:39 AM) My wife and I are looking to capitalize on the bad market and buy our first house this summer. We found one that could have some good potential, but the possible deal breaker is that the house uses well water and a septic tank. I understand that the septic tank can be an issue because I'd have to pay for it to remove waste a few times a year and if there's something wrong with it, that'd be my major cost. My question to Soxtalk is... does anyone have experience with well water? Did it stain your clothes and taste bad? I've heard some people say that it is awful no matter what and others say that if you have a good water softner that you won't know the difference between well and city water. Anyone with experience with well water homes give me your thoughts. In case it matters, this house is in unincorporated Wheaton. My roommate now came from a house in unincorporated Lombard and had well water. He said they absolutely didnt drink the water, and they didnt wash their whites there because they turned yellow. He said something about using blocks of salt helps but still doesnt recommend drinking it or washing whites in it.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Mar 23, 2009 -> 02:26 AM) Ah, good call. That definitely is him in Superbad... As for April, a couple people have mentioned it but when I first saw her, I didn't think she was that attractive and felt she looked a tad overweight. But, now I definitely think she's good looking. Can't believe that was the season finale, though. Pretty funny start. Hopefully it starts again in the summer or something for a full 12 or 13-type episode season. Danny McBride was an extra at that party in Superbad too. I dont know if that was posted in here already.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 07:05 PM) Hey now, I hardly ever make partisan rants like that, just let me have my one! My mini-rant isn't really directed at what people are saying about Obama, or partisanship in general (as I said in the first post, he deserves his criticism, but it'll blow over sooner rather than later), it's more about people who only see the First Amendment as it suits them. Let someone call them out for saying something insensitive that pissed people off (which 1A has absolutely nothing to do with by the way, if you say something dumb and there's consequences, it's your fault, that's not protected), then it's PC America gone crazy. But that doesn't apply if someone they don't like does the same thing. Flame away! Yup, that pretty much sums it up. Ive jumped on Obama for small things in the past but I never would over saying something that isnt PC. I think political correctness is taken too far and everyone needs to lighten up on it if the topic isnt meant to truly hurt anyone.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Mar 20, 2009 -> 06:28 PM) Now, I'm not about to defend Obama's "Special Olympics" comment (it was stupid and in poor taste, so he deserves the criticism he's getting right now)... but am I the only one who can't help but to think that if Obama was a Republican and generated a similar backlash, that the conservative talking heads would be whining about how there is only "politically correct" freedom of speech in America? They do the whole faux outrage thing whenever someone makes a racially insensitive remark or a gay joke that they're forced to apologize for later, I can't see why this would be any different. I think in this case you can throw away party lines and just say, its was a dumb thing to say. Sure there will be people from each side looking to exaggerate or defend anything like this but at the end of the day there wasnt anything malicious about the comment. Its a dumb analogy a lot of people have made and a joke thats probably said behind a lot of closed doors. While I do think ANY president should know better than to slip and say it, there are more important things going on in the world.

QUOTE (rangercal @ Mar 14, 2009 -> 02:10 PM) All things considered, I would rank them as follows Chris Johnson Matt Forte Steve Slaton Darren Mcfadden Felix Jones Jonathan Stewart Tashard Choice Rashard Medenhall Kevin Smith Ray Rice With that said, every single back on this list has a shot to be very good, if not great. I think the top of the list should be Slaton, Forte and then Johnson based on the offensive lines and recent history of the Texans and Bears running games. I also think Stewart should have been ahead of McFadden and that Mendenhall should be last on this list with Choice and Jones down there as well. -

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Mar 7, 2009 -> 05:23 PM) Dick Jauron and Terrell Owens? DJ's head will explode by year end. I came here to post something about this. I can just picture TO yelling at Jauron for a good couple of minutes without Jaurons expression changing or him saying a word. -
