Ya, the web site says youre not allowed to. Anyone know if there are any lots around there where it is permitted?
-
As you can see from my sig mine came dangerously close to becoming a wikipedia mainstay.

Does anyone want the link?

Does anyone know if you're allowed to stay in the parking lot and tailgate during the game? I know you can't at Soldier Field anymore field. Thanks.

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 20, 2009 -> 06:19 PM) Any other suggestions as to who would buy back my PS2? Want a wired controller?

Its probably not what Ive seen the most, or even close to my favorite movie. But Ive seen National Treasure a ridiculous amount of times. Its tv all the time and its one of those movies that is ok being on in the background of doing other stuff.

QUOTE (SHIPPS @ Jul 17, 2009 -> 02:45 PM) This has become so Jim Norton (the comedian) like... "Id sure like to f*** that Dakota Fanning"

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 15, 2009 -> 11:53 AM) I'll tell you what... Apple does a great job with their advertising. "I want video and cut-and-paste", just like their commercial told you to. FYI, the Palm Pre already has both functions. Unfortunately, the EAS support is really poor and it's pissing me off. I have the palm pre and as far as I know it doesnt have either function. You can copy editable text, but not stuff from online.

I get a lot of people fishing for sympathy which I find very annoying. I will never understand why people will give such detail into their life on a social networking site. Its one thing to send someone a message, but if youre posting it on your board everyone can see it.

"Welcome Cubs fans to TD Ameritrade Field!"

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jul 7, 2009 -> 07:42 AM) Ricketts may have purchased the Cubs, but John Danks still owns them. Well played -
Hopefully Robbie Alomar is available somewhere.

Someone should email this poll to Dana Jacobson at ESPN.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ May 27, 2009 -> 08:40 AM) Try taking snap shots, floating a puck in from the point when you have a guy on front, wrap arounds, purposely shoot low and away at the goalies leg pad so there is a rebound to the far side, or taking a wrister with a defenseman between you and the goalie b/c sometimes the goalie will react late cuz they can't see the puck. Also, faking a slap shot from the point sometimes gets the defender to go down allowing you to skate in for a closer shot or more likely for a shot to get through. Thanks. Im having pretty good luck with aiming low and getting rebound shots.

Anybody who has NHL 09 for PS3 have any tips on the best way to shoot? Ive been gambling on this game and Im pretty sure there has to be a better way at shooting or at least some little tricks. All I basically know are wrist shots, slap shots and pathetic one timers.

Im assuming this was a list of funny sports quotes that DIDNT include Mike Tyson

QUOTE (kwolf68 @ May 22, 2009 -> 09:41 AM) So what Peavy wanted was... -the Sox to guarantee his last year, all 22 million of it -And the option of an opt out clause -(and not to mention it would cost the Sox significant resources in the way of prospects) So if Peavy gets off this year and pitches well, he'd have just hit the open market, and headed back to the NL If Peavy came to the Sox and sucked or was injured, then he'd just hang around for 4 years cashing checks from our organization. Is this how anyone else reads it? This is how I interpret it.

QUOTE (lostfan @ May 14, 2009 -> 07:59 AM) The above is actually a great idea politically, it's more of what they did during the Reagan era, etc. The Republicans are not going to get anywhere by just doubling down and being "more conservative" or whatever that means. It's just not mathematically possible. For the sake of entertainment. I think they should test this theory by trying to get Chuck Norris elected into some sort of office. They thought Obama was marketable to the youth, imagine what Chuck Norris could do. The campaign slogans alone would be priceless.

Jordan vs. LeBron, who you got?

QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 13, 2009 -> 12:35 PM) I think you can also make the case that Scottie wouldn't have received anywhere near as much recognition without the 6 rings. Don't get me wrong, he was a fantastic all-around player, but he wasn't really a consistently dominant scorer (Caron Butler is a relatively close comparison on offense, though Scottie was a bit better from the field and distributed better. Defense is obviously a different story entirely.) and that could make it less likely for people to give him proper credit on a decent but not stellar team. Remember, Dominique Wilkins didn't make the NBA's 50 greatest players list and I would consider him roughly a push with Scottie as an overall player (better scorer, not the distributor/defender). Of course the counter-point to that is that leaving The Human Highlight Film off the original list was a gross oversight (Walton instead with his 3 good years while only playing 70 games once? Really?), but I digress. Its ridiculous to compare the ages of who accomplished what and when with guys that didnt go to college and guys who did. Its just a completely different scenario. -
The Sox unloaded their farm system for Robbie Alomar and Carl Everett.

QUOTE (G&T @ May 12, 2009 -> 08:52 AM) The only word I could come up with for the trivia question that made sense was pitches, but I thought it was Frank Thomas and then I got really confused. I dont know if this has been posted anywhere else on here, but did anyone listen to Clemens interview with Mike and Mike this morning? He actually said it would be suicide if he took steroids because of the history of heart disease in his family and used his step dad as an example of said heart disease running through his family.

Unions are great. Everyday when Im driving on lower whacker I get to see someone holding a sign for $40 an hour. Good to see they protect a job a bucket of cement could do.
