Another idea I thought of would be places or things around the world youd like to see in person. I dont know if someone already suggested that one though.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 3, 2008 -> 11:01 PM) Action Movies Stand-Up Comedians Actors/Actresses Movies Places Visited or Vacation Location Musical Artists Video Games Beer Hot chick despised sports team SNL skit best team season in sports history (or just baseball if you prefer) Favorite Basketball Players, Baseball etc... Greatest Albums of All Time Simpsons characters bands horror movies most hated celebrities Some ideas from people's lists. Can we narrow it down to 7 or 8 things before we vote? I think we can live without Simpsons characters. SNL skits and hottest chicks dont seem too appealing. Maybe adding cocktail of choice to the beer would make it more fun, something like alcoholic beverages of choice. Beast might skew the voting on it if he votes for O'Douls 40 times though.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 06:25 PM) No punching. Least favorite celebrities of athletic/acting/music fame!!!! The people will speak. Reality show celebrities need to be included, they could have their own list actuality.

How about celebrities you would most like to punch in the face? Seriously, theres plenty of celebrities we all hate and it wont leave anyone out whereas almost any music category would.

How about favorite porno movie names that were adapted from real movies? Itty Bitty Gang Bang anyone?

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jun 30, 2008 -> 11:53 PM) Best Stand-Up Comedians Best Actors/Actresses Best Movies - my choice Best Places Visited or Best Vacation Location I like the stand up comedians one. Im sure its going to be hard to stray away from entertainment but I wonder if were overlooking some other types of lists. Why dont a few of us do a search of lists like these online for ideas? Best movies would be interesting but tricky.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 27, 2008 -> 11:40 AM) I'm still in Carbondale. I swear I spent a lot less than that, so I'm hoping I find some cash laying around my room, but it's pretty depressing to wake up and have about 20 bucks less than you thought you had. Im assuming they dont still have 25 cent Hurricanes at Sidetracks on Fridays?

QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:01 AM) I dunno... what is Pacman supposed to say? "I know I'm a douche everyone, I realize that, but he shouldn't have said what he said" Theres not really a correct answer for that question. He cant really answer it honestly but saying what he said is so transparent its aggravating. If anything, maybe just saying he doesnt like Imus and thinks what he said was stupid. Pacmans comment about how he hopes Imus' employer handles it is what upset me the most. This is a guy who has been whining in the media about wanting to be given a 7th chance by his employer and how he doesnt think its fair he cant work and now he is trying to get a guy who only said something stupid fired by saying what he did really offended him and he hopes it gets taken care of. If Pacman was to be held by the standard hes asking Imus to be held to he would never be allowed to play football again. I just really hate how Imus put Pacman in a position to take the high road and look like a victim. I dont believe Imus' explanation but at the same time I dont think he meant what he said in the most cynical way. I just really think he must be either way behind in the times of whats socially acceptable or really really dumb.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 25, 2008 -> 02:13 PM) That's the sad part about this. We have a legitimate douche who is a great role model to kids - get arrested 6 times and be involved with murders and rapes and you too can continue to make millions playing a game. Good move Jerry Jones and Roger Goodell. Instead of having a discussion bashing him for being a douche, Imus "ruins" it by making a stupid racial "joke." I dont know what bothers me more. Imus's explanation, which is ridiculous or Pacman actually saying he is offended and is going to pray for him. Theres a guy paralyzed because he was making it rain at a strip club and hes offended by a guy who he hadnt heard of before Rutgers.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 22, 2008 -> 02:00 PM) Sold by a vender at the Texes Republican Convention... Sold by an Online Vender... The Obama Sock Monkey Oh, and this too... He never said the GOP itself would say he's black. He said his republican opponents woud. It's already started. Not "hardcore" yet, but on the fringes. And already the "core" is trying to exploit fear of his middle name. Must I remind you of Bill "Barack Hussein Obama" Cunningham and Ann "B. Hussein Obama" Coultergeist. Well I guess if a vendor sold these things its the consensus of the entire party. If you want to stereotype a whole party by what a few stupid people do believe it or not we might be able to find a few democrats who have crossed the line. I know it would be unlikely, but maybe we could find one or two.

Pacman using this to try and make it look like he is taking the high road is comical. No matter how stupid Imus really is, Pacman is a legitimate piece of garbage as a human being.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jun 24, 2008 -> 01:02 PM) Well I agree with this, but Imus is clearly a racist, and what he said here was clearly quite racist, so I definitely can't give him the benefit of the doubt. Actually, one of the few aging white men that could talk about race and not be labeled a racist was George Carlin, who of course isn't around anymore. Out of curiosity what do you think makes the public view different peoples words as racist or not. The first thing that comes to mind is track record but Im curious what else. Before the Nappy headed hoes comment I wasnt aware of anything else he had said. Also, maybe its different for stand up comedians. I recently watched Jim Norton ( I think) on HBO and he said some pretty bad racial stuff but it was very stereotypical. I wonder what warrants different people to say things without being labeled a racist.
