  1. Why is everyone forgetting that Thome has a no trade clause?
  2. QUOTE(DonnyDevito @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 11:41 PM) haven't you heard? there are injuries! our offense would be top notch if joe crede and podsednik were healthy. pods can ball. it would be like Game 2, bottom of the 9th all over again but every day with him in the line up again. this team needs a shake up like marion barry needs a hit of crack. fire greg walker, he may be a good man but someone needs to be the scapegoat unless we're fine with being horrible this year and accepting a great draft pick in '08. I guess you can't read because I mentioned the injuries, but this issue was there before the injuries happened.
  3. Hey guys, just got back from the Phillies-White Sox game tonight. The thing that bothers me the most is that any lineup that is being thrown out there has no chemistry in it. It's great when Paulie and Dye go back to back, but I other than that, there is no situational hitting, sacs or anything of that nature. And forget about timely hitting, I haven't seen that in months. It's like the line up trys to play home run derby each a bat and thats about all. I know some of it has to do with injuries, but it just looks flat out ugly right now. Sorry for the vent, it's my first Sox game since the last time they came to Philly, and that game was played at the Vet.
  4. Lets not throw in the towel yet. Well, not until I see my first Sox game this year since they are going to be in Philly next week. Give me some kind of hope first.
  5. 5 Pitchers in the first 5 rounds???
  6. Aaron Poreda-S- White Sox Jun. 7 - 4:28 pm et White Sox selected University of San Francisco LHP Aaron Poreda with the 25th pick in the 2007 draft. Poreda is a big left-hander capable of throwing 95 mph. He lacks quality secondary stuff at the moment, but he has more upside than Lance Broadway or Kyle McCulloch, the college pitchers the White Sox took in the first round the previous two years.
  7. quiet everyone, Fields is up!
  8. QUOTE(AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:13 PM) C'mon 2 out rally time J.O. Or not...
  9. C'mon 2 out rally time J.O.
  10. Trade Fields, he didn't homer
  11. QUOTE(CWSOX45 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:09 PM) Question: If the White Sox get no-hit tonight (trust me I don't want ot see this,).....does Walker finally get the axe? My vote is no. Thoughts? no, Mack saved his job.
  12. QUOTE(briguy27 @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 09:05 PM) game over How can you say that when All-Star Josh Fields hasn't batted yet
  13. 4 hits, 2 walks this inning alone......so far.
  14. 2 good innings doesn't give you the right to s*** the bed in the next Javy.
  15. QUOTE(South Side Fireworks Man @ Jun 6, 2007 -> 05:15 PM) Will Jermaine Dye please show up already? He will put one on the board tonight.
  16. Philly boards want Fields to be the minor league player, lol....
  17. MacDougal for Rowand kidding.....
  18. No chance he gets traded, just for the simple fact that the Yankees won't admit they were wrong in replacing Sheffield with Abreu.
  19. QUOTE(GoSox05 @ May 30, 2007 -> 04:05 PM) are bullpen is the worst in baseball. See Phillies.
  20. QUOTE(briguy27 @ May 27, 2007 -> 09:17 PM) lifetime 262 hitter, and played in pittsburgh from 2001 to a little bit of 2006, then was traded to the yankees, then to the braves, where he was hitting 172 with atlanta I know who Craig Wilson is. I was just making a joke about the thread title before it was edited.
  21. QUOTE(Soxfest @ May 27, 2007 -> 08:58 PM) I do not think he will. Then I say we sign Craig Wilson
  22. BA is likely to come up again.
  23. Joe Crede-3B-White Sox May. 20 - 10:00 pm et Joe Crede received a cortisone shot for his sore back after leaving Sunday's game. He'll likely need a couple of days to recover. Crede still has two herniated discs in his back that he tries to manage as best he can. Alex Cintron and Pablo Ozuna will fill in for him against the A's. If Crede needs to go on the DL, then Josh Fields could be called up.
