Thome activated, Sweeney sent down
QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ May 20, 2007 -> 08:31 PM) If Anderson was considered ready, why not Sweeney? Anderson isn't ready since he is in AAA currently. It took a year + to fully see it, even though Sox Talk saw it in 2 months of last season.

Thome activated, Sweeney sent down
QUOTE(TheBigHurt @ May 20, 2007 -> 06:09 PM) Again, WHY? Lol. Who would you rather have playing LF everyday? Ozuna/Mack or Sweeney? Stop with your man love for Sweeney. He is not ready to play everyday in the major's, thats why.

Thome activated, Sweeney sent down
Simple reason for why sending Sweeney down makes sense is because he'll play everyday in AAA. He wouldn't play everyday on the Sox.

A dirty little secret about A.J.....
Are you Toby Hall?

Thome
Jim Thome-DH-White Sox May. 18 - 9:10 am et According to the Chicago Tribune, Jim Thome (ribs) is ready to return from the disabled list, but the White Sox will wait until after their weekend interleague series to activate him. Thome, who's been out since April 28, likely wouldn't have seen many at-bats playing the Cubs under NL rules anyway

Pods Update
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ May 10, 2007 -> 08:41 AM) I really don't see how the Sox can legitamately justify it if he keeps looking like he has at the plate over the past week or so. As the other thread says, there going to send him down so he can play everyday.

Pods Update
QUOTE(BigSqwert @ May 8, 2007 -> 05:05 PM) Doesn't matter. Sweeney is the man. Being the man in AAA when Thome comes back as per Ozzie.

And thats a White Sox loser...
Thomes walks are all because of Paulie struggling. That and Jimbo has a good eye. But he isn't seeing the same pitches that he would of Paulie wasn't stinking it up.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Thome is going to need a day off from walking all game long...

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 10:47 PM) There should be a gamethread ban on "well that sucks for the Sox, but helps my fantasy team!!" crap...I mean seriously. It was a joke, take a pill pal. Just pointing out how amazing walking 5 times in a game is....

The 5 walks for Thome tonight is killing my fantasy team, but the two homers last night were nice.

And That's A White Sox Loser
Did anyone expect to win with the B squad out there today? I looked at the lineup before the game and said this was a loser.

Revisiting Hawk Harrelson
Hawk + Being paid by the White Sox = Homerism. You've got to be kidding me with this thread. People who watch the game when the Hawk is doing play by play (beside WGN games) are, I don't know how to say this, WHITE SOX FANS! If you want non homerism, go watch ESPN or some other crap. I live in NJ and would love to hear Hawk game after game, but I am stuck to whatever feed MLB.TV give us.
