Bears versus Packers game thread
QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 23, 2011 -> 06:07 PM) Bears now saying it was their team doctors that pulled Cutler, which goes against what every sideline reporter was saying. I knew it was an injured knee, but I didn't hear the extent. I wonder how bad his bloody elbow was. I saw him on the bike though. Maybe I missed it while I was yelling at the tv.

Bears versus Packers game thread
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 23, 2011 -> 05:22 PM) Considering the magnitude of the game, you would have to wonder about Cutler's intestinal fortitude. I can think of a lot of players that would have been out there until they couldn't stand. Have they stated how bad it was? He walked over to his buddy just fine. Maybe he's really hurt but I can't help but feel majorly disapointed in Cutler.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 30, 2010 -> 09:06 PM) Dear Milkman, Not to speak for Nyx, but using my wonderous powers of deduction, I believe it is one of the following words: 1) "witches" or 2) "wenches" Hope this helps, Shack Dear shack, Kindly, no. I was going for (rhymes with doors). Those are ok substitutions. Thanks though. I'll just type it next time, Nyx81

To the people next door, Your drunked and undoubtably drug laced parties (Yeah, I notice that Escalade there every week) that start at midnight through 5am in the morning on Tuesday night do go noticed. Keep your w****s from yelling out WOOO! Listen to MEEE! 20 feet from my bedroom window. You should also get rid of that rusted POS iroc thats been sitting in your driveway for 3 years, no ones gonna buy it. If you haven't noticed, the tires are flat now. Your garage with all the windows boarded up and a stack chimney coming out the top reminds me of Breaking Bad. Shut your F****** DOG UP!!! Just because you don't want to listen to it, doesn't mean we have to. Get a collar or train it. Signed, I hate you

I just completed chest and back this morning. I had to do push ups from the knees . However, looking at the calandar, I did the wrong disc. I am doing the lean program and should have started with core synergistics. Lol, I guess extras for me today. I didn't realize that the lean program did not use the chest and back disc before I started. Later today after the Bears lose, I will do the correct disc. So, back to the beginning again. I am in week one/phase 1. I didn't have any measuring tape to track measurements but I did take before pics to see progress. My arms are jelly. If I ever can do dive bombers like that chick in disc 1, I would be very happy. I am not following any sort of diet, though, gnc wellbeing whey/soy protein shakes for recovery will help I think. I dont have a poor diet but Coca colas are my problem.

Films Thread
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Aug 31, 2010 -> 12:34 PM) T2 was mostly good. The ending drug on and got cheesy - you might say that's the movie where things started to go downhill, but it was still overall a good flick. I actually like T3 better than T2, but that wasn't a Cameron flick, and I imagine most people will disagree with me on that. Haven't seen Salvation. While I disagree that T3 is better, I still thinks its a pretty good movie. Salvation, I think is better than 3 but nowhere near as good as 2 or 1. Most people I know think 3 is garbage. T2 or T1 for top movie is debate worthy imo. Titanic is a great movie. Frankly, I wasn't blown away by Avatar. I haven't seen Piranha 3d, and I'm sure I wont.

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Aug 27, 2010 -> 06:54 AM) My girlfriend did the program with me and the only thing she did different, aside from using lighter weights, was to use bands in the door for the pull up exercises. Yeah, I found some more info on the dvds as far as a lean program alternative. I'' go for the bands. Thanks

I may be starting this workout myself in the next week. I only have the dvds. I don't believe I will be getting any information packets with it. Please keep the info coming. I don't want to start this off wrong. Ive been told there are easier variations in the dvd to go along with the workout for us ladies. Keep up the good work.

Most Disturbing Movie Scenes
QUOTE (girlslikebaseballtoo#26 @ Aug 11, 2010 -> 06:25 PM) I HATE the murder scene in Wonderland where they bash those people to bloody pulps with those pipes. I think knowing that's a true story made it even worse. Obviously the curb stomp scene from AHX ..one of my fave movies of all time (that and the Boondock saints movies) SEVERAL different scenes from Visitor Q ...That movie just should not exist! This. Also from Hostel 2 I believe. The girl that gets hung from those chains and the lady in the bathtub cuts her with that scythe over and over and over.... and bathes in her blood. Its freaking scary.

Music Thread
I have a special request for someone who knows how to get things... I figured I'd ask Soxtalk 'cause of all the brilliant minds that meet here . Really easy if you live in Florence, ITaly.... I have been searching for 2 cds from a singing duo in Florence, Italy. They are street performers, thus, the only way to get their cds is to be in Florence Italy and buy them there or call them (speak Italian) and ask for it, which I can not. The performers are Anatoliy Grischuk & Natalia Lopushanskaya . If anyone has any info where I can get these from the internets, I would be ecstatic. This is a strange request yes, but I've been trying to locate these cds for almost 3 years with no luck. Yes it is opera. I'm a chick tho so peace. THank you to all who try.
