  1. Last 30 innings = 2 runs scored
  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 09:10 PM) I'll jinx him I'm sure, but I'm more confident with MacDougal on the mound than any other reliever Sox have ever had. If he stays healthy, I can see him back in the closer role.
  3. QUOTE(zenryan @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 09:04 PM) I wonder if I called mlb.tv and complained about the s***tiness of this team, will I get a refund? biggest waste of money ever You could for every other team, but the Sox were predicted to finish 4th, so they are trying their best to match that.
  4. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 08:48 PM) I can just taste a 5-1 lead right now.Yum
  5. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 08:46 PM) When Sammy Sosa can hit the ball the other way, why cant our team. He is hitting White Sox pitching.
  6. Looking at the Batting Averages in Gameday is comical, 8 players at or below .216.
  7. QUOTE(JohnCangelosi @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 05:11 PM) I live in Warsaw, Poland (believe it or not) and I can tell you this is how the girls look in Eastern Europe. All chicks are skinny out here and take care of themselves (unlike these pigs from Chicago who wear jean shorts and eat french fries right out of the grease). Sad but true. And another believe it or not, there are at least 10 White Sox fans I know of out here! Pretty amazing! P.S. The weather out here has been 60-70 and sunny daily. WTF is going on in the US??? I was in Germany for three years, and you are correct about the chicks. US weather = global warming
  8. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 04:58 PM) He has been one big groin strain since he got here. How many surgeries has he had. This is like having Prior say, his shoulder is a bit tight. Yeah, I just hope the team does really well while he is out, making him expendable. The Sox can use Erstad, Iguchi, Mackowiak, and Ozuna in leadoff.
  9. QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Apr 17, 2007 -> 02:24 PM) Rock, when I read your posts...all I hear is blah, blah, blah...because I'm staring at the new girl in your avatar. If that is your sister, how about hooking a brother up? Bigger pic here: http://www.lookatbowen.com/?m=200603
  10. Don't worry, Greg Walker has scouting videos on him.
  11. Too early to evaluate TexMac. Give him a few more starts. I can't blame the Rangers fans. The trade looks worse and worse everyday (for them).
  12. Who cares, boo him.
  13. Now they are saying that the guy was not even a US citizen and was here on a Visa either from Korea or China.
  14. Hopefully with the day off, and the better weather, the Sox can start an extended win streak.
  15. QUOTE(Yoda @ Apr 16, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) Incidents like these are insane. Is there an official toll on the number of deaths on this tradegy? Cause I see some are reporting 22 and others 32. The problem is some of the wounded are dying at the hospital, so it will be several hours before they know for sure. It looks like the wounded and dead are over 50. That is just insane. A total breakdown in security for the campus after the first shooting.
  16. Wow, the 911 call was made at 7:15AM for the first shooting and the second shooting started at 9:15AM.
  17. The team is batting .222 for the year (last in the Bigs). Surprisingly though, it looks like something is affecting most of the teams in the league. There are only two teams with a team BA over .280 and only five over .270. The Indians high powered offense is batting a whopping .258. Right now the team is 4th in the AL in ERA, and pitching is what got the Sox to the WS. There is no way that Dye, Crede, Iguchi, Konerko, and AJ will still be batting under .235 or .200 at the end of the season. The good thing is if they are to get near their career averages, they will all need to bat .300+ for a good portion of the season. Survive April!
  18. Pitching lets up one hit and you lose. Man that sucks.
  19. All these silly plays remind me of the Bad News Bears.
  20. 15 consecutive scoreless innings by the offense......
  21. Nice stab and throw by Juan.
  22. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 14, 2007 -> 08:59 AM) Erstad has shown he is still good in the field, but how low will his avg. drop before Ozzie makes a change? Granted, it seems a lot of the times he can make productive outs, but outs are outs. The only advantage to me of having him in the lineup is it allows Iguchi and Uribe to hit at the bottom. It is still too early to assess Batting Averages. Would you sit these guys right now because they are lower than the Mendoza line: Gary Sheffield - .139 Albert Pujols - .176 Ichiro Suzuki - .182 Andruw Jones - .189 Scott Rolen - .192 Manny Ramirez - .194 and Soriano is only at .205. So I would give it a couple of more weeks.
  23. A division win on the road, I will take it.
  24. Wow, Bobby is going to give me an ulcer.
