i feel so happy for contreras. he stepped it up big today and showed he can rise to the occasion. who would have thought the WHITE sox would hit 5 homers? and how about pods. lets just hope he doesnt start to swing for the fences.

i dont like marte at all...and i dont think it would make a big difference to go to the playoffs without another lefty arm in the bullpen. i mean, putting him in against a lefty for that "lefty on lefty" matchup doesnt fare him well, lefties are batting .267 or something against him, as opposed to brandon mccarthy, who although is a righty, has lefties batting only .182 against him. i say, if you need to get some lefties out in the playoffs, you put mccarthy in.

i just dont understand the idea of "specialists" i have much more confidence in jenks or politte going up against a lefty than having marte pitch to them, just for the sake of having a lefty vs lefty

play crede for his glove and if we need to get some speed on the basepaths late in the game put in ozuna. i dont like blum's glove at all.

i still dont know people...i'd like to see us score more runs on consecutive hits rather than the long ball...but whatever gets the job done and what ever gets the win im happy. cant wait to get pods back...screw griffey we got anderson! im startin to like this kid.

wow folks, this is are first solid ball game (so far at least) in like, the last 2 weeks. we are getting hit after hit after hit, and not scoring just by the long ball. granted these pitchers arent terrific, but we werent scoring at all against ANYBODY. this looks very good, this could be the beginnings of a nice winning streak, especially with jon going tomorrow.
