QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:30 AM) Fine Steff...you obviously know EVERYTHING too! Buehrle sucks! Are you guys happy now. I was wrong, you were right. BTW...I am a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois. Just because I do not work full time as an attorney doesn't mean that I am not an attorney!!! No... I don't know everything.. almost though.

QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:23 AM) I am ready to back up my words. Rock, Kyle, etc., said that I am not a lawyer, and that I don't have the credentials to back up my claim. I said let's bet $1,000.00, Rock reluctantly said yes, now his "pussing out"! Who f***ing gives a s*** what your profession is - although I will admit I think you're a liar since Mike outed you and your brother told me what you do previously - but how about sticking to what you started HERE.

QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:19 AM) It has to do with you people shooting off your mouths, THEN not having the cojones to back up your words! Hey there Mr Pot... c'mere.. my friend kettle and you have a LOT in common... :rolly

QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 11:05 AM) My bad. Ask me to compare Bonds with Vlad Guerrero? Hideki Matsui? Bernie Williams? Jermaine Dye? All of these guys have better WS stats than Barry Bonds, AND have been (or are) all-star caliber players. Hehe...

QUOTE(q\/\/3r+y @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 04:21 PM) This is why people go bankrupt. Woods seems like a smart guy but it is still ridiculous. Real estate a ridiculous investment...?? Uhh.. no. It's the smartest investment anyone can make.

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 07:29 AM) Its not bashing. I just think that Sirius will take the lead. Maybe. However there's nothing to indicate it will be in the near future.
-
QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 07:14 AM) Not for long. Sirius will pass them up. Sirius has a long way to go before they pass up in members and technology. I love Sirius and I love XM.. for very different reasons, and don't see the logic in bashing one or the other.

QUOTE(quickman @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 10:12 AM) Sometimes its futal to reply, its like arguing with my 9 year old. All emotion, no sense. Do people get sleep or do they stay up at night worried if Buerhle will be here in 2008. Uh.. no. Arguing with your 9 year old would be much more productive.

Hatch Guilty of Failing to Pay Taxes Jan 25 1:57 PM US/Eastern Email this story By RAY HENRY Associated Press Writer PROVIDENCE, R.I. Richard Hatch, the "fat naked guy" who won $1 million in the debut season of the reality show "Survivor," was found guilty Wednesday of failing to pay taxes on his winnings. Hatch was also convicted of evading taxes on $327,000 he earned as co- host of a Boston radio show and $28,000 in rent on property he owned. But he was acquitted of seven bank, mail and wire fraud charges. Jurors deliberated for less than a day after more than a week of testimony. Hatch, 44, of Newport, faces up to 13 years in prison and a fine of $600,000. One possible explanation for Hatch's failure to pay taxes was raised by his lawyer toward the end of the trial but was never mentioned in the jury's presence. Hatch's lawyer, Michael Minns, said Hatch caught fellow contestants cheating and struck a deal with producers for the show to pay his taxes if he won. But, ultimately, Hatch was never asked about the allegation when he testified. Instead, Minns told jurors Hatch was the "world's worst bookkeeper" and said his client never meant to do anything wrong. Hatch testified that he thought producers were supposed to pay his "Survivor" taxes, and said the donations he took from his charity were far less than the money he had already poured into it.

http://www.orbitcast.com/archives/live-sir...in-mid2006.html LIVE Sirius S50 Portable Due in Mid-2006 TAGS: Sirius Satellite Radio Sirius S50 There's no doubt the Sirius S50 is a huge leap forward in satellite radio receivers offered by Sirius, but one big request that many people are asking is: when can we have true portable live Satellite Radio? The answer was given at the Global Media Conference yesterday, by David Freer CFO of Sirius Satellite Radio. (drumroll please) Expect to see true LIVE portable Sirius S50 by mid-2006! Here's the exact quote for you nitpickers: "This product [sirius S50] will get incrementally better as we go into next year. Our chip development plans so far have been been optimized to reduce costs, as well as the form factor of the product. We'll take the same chip that sits in the S50 and power optimize it in the course of the next six months. So mid-year next year you should expect to see an S50 product that is also a live radio when you're walking around with it. And power optimizing the chip, in essence, gives you a smaller battery size, and so it keeps a very nice form factor for consumers." Two words: kick ass.

QUOTE(watchtower41 @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 01:43 PM) very true, what do u think they close the Opening Ceremonies off at 500?? 1000?? I'd expect the garage sale to be a hot spot when the fest first opens as well... The opening ceremony crowd depends on how close folks want to stand next to each other. They fill the room up. I've taken the day off, so for those of you who's tickets I have I will be there early and in line so call me when you get there on Friday.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 25, 2006 -> 10:40 AM) How early in the morn are we starting at the bar? Bloody Mary's at 10am when they open.

QUOTE(southsideirish @ Jan 24, 2006 -> 08:24 PM) ha ha!!!! Awesome! I can't believe Howard was kissing ass as much as he did. I can not stand Alexis Stewart and she is no where near as hot as he kept making her out to be. I don't have any idea what that was all about. She's hot for 40 was the point I think... IMO, she's OK. I listened to the show live, and a bit of the replay. I don't think he kissed her ass. I was LMAO at Bubba getting pissed though. That guy is a freak. Can't handle too much of him.
